Hadn't caught up on Miami's skyline in some time but got to visit recently while taking a cruise on RCL's Icon. Drive right into downtown and got to pass this wonderful looking tower a few times! There's certainly nothing like it, for sure, and the design instantly stood out. Cool to find a documentary on it!

Go see it in person. Aston Martin now has a tower, Dolce & Gabbana are working on one, Bentley, Porsche have ones in North Beach (Sunny Isles). 5 Park is nearing completion in South Beach. Frankly its getting out of hand with all the construction going on but as a architecture buff, I do like to see the progress daily.

Although saying that, it would’ve been an uphill climb to resuscitate this PBS production! It’s a pity the video didn’t have a more lavish budget to do her work justice. But…. that’s PBS for you

When they were building it, I'd never heard the title "Scorpion" in all my years living here (since 1995). Now, they're about halfway in with that atrocious bridge to complete the skyline.
