So basically in my video, I have used the Zoom H2N Microphone. And it's not Yamaha EAD, but yeah the style is quite similar to El Estapario.... That's right actually 😂.
And of course, thank you so much for pointing out my mistakes, in mixing and visuals...as well as nicely giving suggestions. It was very helpful. ❤

Thanks for this info... I'm weighing the Yamaha EAD vs. other similar drum recording devices. I had not looked at the Zoom H2N.
Hey thanks Eugene for the review ! It's nice to hear that the sound and video production is good! Your feedback on my playing is really appreciated, I will try to hit my snare harder with hands crossed, along with the Tom fills.

the cleanest transition means that i recorded two separate videos. those two clips were recorded about 10 minutes apart using my phone
Hi Eugene, big thanks for your kind words.
To answer your questions, yeah that’s kinda the way Meshuggah end the song live, so I cut the original track like that.
On the performance side, since I just have my phone to record, all the shots (even the foot cam) besides the front one
are just video takes. Audio is one take and comes from the front shot. (If you notice in the foot cam some of the hits are not there)
Also on the editing side, there’s just one edit on a kick that wasn’t picked up from the mic in the solo part, all the rest is untouched.
Btw in case you don’t remember I’m the guy with the “shotgun” sounding snare 😂, we played a show with my band last year in Italy opening for Fleshgod.

Thanks for the review and criticism Eugene! I try to improve my drum mixes every cover I put out (purely self-taught), the cameras have since been updated to mirrorless Canons (not the shitty GoPro 4's) aswell as lighting (man, these things cost a lot of money) ... and for the 'weak playing': it's a medical condition with my shoulders and I've been advised not to hit that much, sadly - I could be more energetic I guess! And yes - I can't get out of there, I live behind the kit which is my sanctuary haha! Thanks again for pointing things out to improve, duly noted! 😁🤘

I will share a secret with you. Spoke to one of the Fleshgod Apocalypse guys (who will stay anonymous for safety reasons 😂) and they confessed that pineapple on pizza can actually taste good. They had it. Usually what non Italian pizza places fuck up that Italians criticize is the dough and other ingredients. But pineapple itself is alright if the rest is good.

my age is 17, aaand it annoys me because I've played much better, but when the camera is on, things don't go so well :)
and yes i played with my drum teachers drumset because i dont have own mics at home. and last thing, i was looking my drum teacher there because i always play songs in my head and always do the fills different way:)
It's always like that. When anxiety kicks in, we suck 😅
