First Look at Forklift Simulator 2023

- I bought this one so you don't have to, pretty repetitive in nature and you have to grind to unlock more forklifts and maps. Tell me what you thought in the comments below! It's currently only 8 bucks. I think other forklift sims on the market do it better.

Jeff just wanted us to see his forklift skills from back in the day
Currently a forklift operating and I gotta say it's fun af
Used to have a broken down and super rusty forklift in the back of my property. I think I still have it. I am thinking about getting it restored.
I started learning how to operate a forklift earlier this year so I just smiled a bit when I saw the notification for the video. I was nodding along with all the forklift knowledge and tips Jeff was saying.
Put this on my resume and the hiring manager laughed at me 😢
I used to work in a warehouse but was in operations so didn't drive the lifts. We had about 100 running at a time all day. I still hear the constant backup beeping and honking in my nightmares.
Used to drive these bad boys at a Chrysler assembly plant before doing RUclips full time 🎉😎
I’ll have to try this game
I'm a forklift driver at work, would be fun to try it in this game haha. Great video Jeff
It's cool that I now have a forklift job irl and it's so cool to see how they replicate that into a game and how realistic it is
Are you forklift certified?? That's more of an achievement than graduating
@@yellowforester998Oh noooo. Don’t say that. It’s been a long-time random dream of mine to drive one. 😅
Ah yes, just in time for me to get home from a 12 hour shift driving a fork truck 😂
Hey Jeff. I'm a forklift operator for Proctor and Gamble out here in California. We use 4 fork forklifts. Send this video to my boss for our forklift training!😂
Love your content Jeff!
Been going back and watching all the fivepd stuff with the boys on my days off. Really helps me get by. Thx for the laughs Jeff!!
I enjoy doing it in real life,. Removing pallets of beer off trains is especially fun.
still remember the day i walked into work and was greeted with a brand new crown reach truck. so new it still had the paint on the forks. it was like christmas for me.
I never worked with forklifts, but I have worked with the walk-behind stackers (made by "Crown", so we just referred to it as the "Crown") during my 12 1/2 years in retail, about 12 of which was spent stocking shelves. And now it's kinda come full-circle, where my older son is working in a warehouse, selecting pallets and others are loading/unloading trailers. I could definitely see losing 8 hours in a day, playing this.
My brother is a forkie for a major Australian grocery chain. I'll certainly be sharing this video with him :)
I've got plenty of forklift experience from previous jobs. It's a great way to keep your skills fresh.
Love the vids Jeff keep grinding and working hard
I’ve been spending most of the time driving forklifts on FS22 because I like it. This might be what I do now
The simulator everyone wanted, but nobody asked for
I love these videos that you do with truck driving and forklifts. I drive both at my job. Love it Jeff!
This is my current work profession in some regards lol. Little detail I saw that is cool is the Heat Treated Pallets (Stamped HT on em) to indicate they are Heat Treated and what you have to use for international shipments. LOL Great seeing that a new developer has made this series. Be great to see some additional lifts like Side Loaders (Turrets) and some Reach Fork Lifts as well :)
I use a forklift all the time. I'm a diesel mechanic and we use it to move semis that wont start
Can watch Jeff play any game and have a great time . Ty Jeff
I use to drive a forklift at a plant I worked at when it was in business
The no horn is more like reality lol
Office workers like me can finally be forklift certified 🥹
That there are people who thought the world needed a second forklift simulator. Let alone a first one
I feel like simulators are getting more specific and more bizarre. We still love them though
I had a bit of forklift training and use in my welding class last year. They're fun things. However we were never taught to honk once when going forward. Not even in the OSHA courses we took. Only the 2 honks before reversing
Dang, that looks good! Great video Jeff keep up the great work!
I went straight to OSHA for a forklift cert a long time ago. Ran it for a trailer company. Would put trailers on sawhorses to work on them or pull them around the yard with a ball attached on the forklift
I worked in a warehouse back home in Florida, shipped out armored electrical wiring, 8 years experience working a forklift.
1 lever to lift 2 lever to tilt 3 lever to shift i work in a box factory
As a supervisor of a bunch of forklift drivers, I can say your skills are adequate. I would like to replace my workers and hire you on. You definitely got the job 😂
I love forklifts; a good controller for you if you need some crane controls for your rig
is the Logitech heavy equipment panel.
ITS MINT Good video as always!
Jeff, i started driving forklift same time you did the last video and did so for while.
Do miss it, but seeing new video reminds of the fun and not so fun times.
Did some forklifting in Guam loading trucks for a Det we had in Palau while I was in the Navy. Actually enjoyed it.
30 years working with and being a trainer/certifier for forklifts, clamp trucks, basseloids , cherry pickers(order pickers) rabbits(electric pallet jack) skid steers etc. . Spot on about the not feeling the 53 footer moving and bouncing especially when you go in hot and hit the brakes too hard lol. I cant say i miss it much, but this game is pretty accurate with tilting and shifting to get the pallet right where you want it. i feel like this would get boring way quick though. So many more options for different freight, flatbed loading would make this game better. excellent start though.
In March of 2022 I got certified to operate Forklifts at my work. I work for a Arena and operate electric Forklifts occasionally when I am needed to. I am starting to get pretty good at operating them. I am certified to operate hyster 60s and 70s.
As a shipping assistant supervisor who works in a warehouse driving forklifts and order pickers(cherry pickers) I absolutely love and enjoy this sooooo much can't wait to get this game just to mess around 😅
yes Jeff i could see a OSHA handbook exploding would be cool to see how this one goes nice Lift skills to jeff
I used to work at a cargo terminal here in HK (Asia Airfreight Terminal) i do have 3 Ton(electric) 5 and 7 Ton (Diesel) normally 3 tons is for cargo 5 and 7 tons is for aircraft pallets
I've driven a few forklift in my days. At Pascal Furniture (Canadian closed down now) I drove one with a long bed that could hold a large sofa or other furniture. I never got use to the steering of a reach truck didn't drive it enough. I just bought Oklahoma.
Used to unload trucks at Home Depot every day! Definitely brings back memories
I love it keep them coming
I always learn something new every time I watch your videos Jeff 🤙🏼
Glad to hear it!
I absolutely hated driving a forklift at my last job(never even signed up for it to begin with), but knowing how much of a sim nerd i am, I'll probably still like this game. video games does things to me.
I work at schnucks which I'm sure you know Jeff is a grocery store franchise in St.Louis and I haven't used a fork lift but I used something called a power jack
Yep know what both of those are haha
I'm currently working with forklifts, but not the sit down. At my job, we use the Raymond forklifts. We have the stand-up/pacer, clamp, order picker, reach, and electric pallet jack. I'm certified on pacer, clamp, and order picker.
I work with Hi and Low mass forklifts… doing pallets, 6 by 9 racks stacked 6 high and load trailers!
Hope to see more of this to see the progression
Highly recommend checking out out of ore it’s got a major update coming out on the 12th with a new map and new huge equipment
Yea the game looks pretty good and as pshysics are good too. i can tell cuz i work as warehouse worker and drive forklifts alot so its pretty fun to see how similar they look in real life and game. love it. keep it up!
Love your videos
Man I sure do miss driving forklifts too. Drove them for years just ripping around gettin the job done.
Hey Jeff love the video!
I drove a fork lift for a few years for a tier one factory for Honda Manufacturing of Alabama. Scared the crap out of me one day when I took a turn too fast and the left side came off the ground a little.
We have a 4 fork Yale forklift like that at my work. We use it to load 10 foot long material in our fiber optic lasers in central Illinois.
I work with forklifts daily, stand ups and sit downs. I prefer stand ups as they are much easier to maneuver and see. However with that being said, I prefer sit downs for unloading trailers or doing heavy lifting.
good vid jeff
Ooohhh yes please! This looks fun. I reallllly hope this game has an endless mode so we can keep on playing and not have to replay missions.
Getting my forklift license this Friday, I love driving these things once you get used to it is fun
I remember watching that same exact video 4 years
Currently driving one while at work listening to it
This is a pretty cool game. Legit physics. I have operated forklifts and tall reach truck when I worked at Schwans/Tony's Pizza here in Salina, KS.
I work as an Assistant Warehouse Manager and load and unload trucks with a forklift everyday. Though it needs some TLC using the tilt will kill the engine. My company doesn't want to pay for repairs.
Hope you are doing well jeff thanks again for an amazing video 🙂
I've operated a few different kinds of forklifts in my day, even an electric one that you could pick up two skids at once it was called a long tail..
I drive a clamp truck unloading rollstock for a corrugator. My clamp truck weighs 24k lbs and the rolls I unload weigh between 5k-10k lbs. First couple days were iffy cause I was super nervous but now it’s a cake walk.
I use operator a forklift back in 08 during summer & fall @ couple produce warehouse's this game is kool Jeff
Awsome video 😀👍
I am unloading my truck right now with the forklift 😂
At my work I run a folklift and sometimes you hit a poll or my first time smack the mass of the truck like noob lol reminds me of work great job on the video jeff
My favorite part of driving forklift is when the trucker pulls away from docks when im still in it with the forklift
Thats so awesome. I use to drive forklifts for a long time too.
I been forklifting for over 15 yrs and the last company I worked for I was there 6 yrs went bankrupt on Monday. I’m out of a job currently and this simulator would keep me entertained 😂
Heck yea jeff
This is why you're 1 of my favorite creators Jeff! You're always trying something new whenever you see something that looks interesting and you always seem to pick the good ones.. hey whatever happened to that "Alaskan Truck Sim"? Or whatever it was called? Did they drop the full game yet? And did you know they have a shoveling sim as well? I seen someone play it and it actually looks pretty satisfying
Not sure what happened to that game, thanks man
@@jfavignano no problem man.. don't mention it.. been watching for 10 years now.. time flies
That's a great game. I myself used to drive a forklift that I ended up having to learn on my own and for myself because the main forklift drivers used to take too long to come back to work after lunch, holding up our work waiting for them. Lol 😆
This is pretty ironic you dropped this video because I was actually learning forklift at work today 😂. This is a pretty cool game I'm probably gonna pick this up.
Hey Jeff. There is a roblox game called Aeronautica that is an open world flight sim and features a huge map and hundreds of aircraft. It is a progression game so you need to get licenses and other things and buy planes, and with enough funds, you can open up an airline. It is amazing and as a hard core flight simmer, it is the only roblox game i play. Love the vids!!
I am T4 forklift sertified. And well my erlier experience with forklift sims where well the training for example has u put on the handbreak just for lifting a little pallet of goods which we never do irl. So kinda hessitant to try new forklift sims
I've done stand up and sit down forklifts. Was a fun job.
Seems legit. I have been a forklift operator for over ten years. Now have a full time job doing it for 8 hours a day.
Years ago worked at Home Depot…I got licenses for every lift I could get my hands on from outside garden to lumber those things are a blast to drive
10:52 Oh noo turning with the pallet up in the air, thats a no no :) Looks like a fun little game tho. I used to work in a warehose too and driving the forklift was a lot of fun. Where I worked in Sweden we never got the EPAL pallets turned like in this game tho. Maybe done like that to make it a little easier.
Never drove a forklift, but when I used to work at Ford up in St. Paul MN man those fork drivers were nuts. They'd haul around metal cargo containers stacked 10 feet (far above safety limits) and drive at top speed around whipping around the area. Yeah you feared for you life! Noticed there's no beacon on any of the forks you can buy. So no horn and no beacon, hmmmm.🤔
I love all these new simulators. After a long day of work you can pretend to work at home haha
Another Fork Lift Simulator? That’s pretty cool. Awesome to see you play this Jeff, I hope you’re doing well. Have a great night and take care!
Thanks, you too!
I love the game Jeff wouldn't mind watching more
I operated a riding forklift and a walking forklift at my local store and I thought about getting the game but on ps5 it’s $15 when I saw it on the store when I got train sim world 3
Years ago working for Lowe’s, I drove an LP Gas lift, Crown Reach Truck, Crown Man Lift, and a couple other machines. Wanted to learn the Moffett lift.
And the scariest thing to overstock was pallets of water…1,500ish pounds, had to go on the top shelf because they were too tall for the lower shelves, they were kept on the skinniest isle (probably around 50 inches wide) because they needed to be against a solid wall.
Had to approach hugging the side they would be stocked on, line up with the empty bay, lift the pallet to max height on the reach lift to clear the pallets beside them, slowly swing the back end around 90 degrees to line up with the hole (only inches left behind the lift), slowly extend the forks because the back wheels would raise off the floor from the weight, make whatever side-to-side corrections you need, then slowly lower them onto the rack. Retract the forks, turn 45 degrees then back out without hitting the rack, then lower the forks.
There were only two of us allowed to handle water pallets at the time.
I work at an Industrial Equipment company as a technician. 90% of what we work on is forklifts. That first truck looks like it’s supposed to be an electric 3 wheel counterbalance truck. Yet it has an engine and it’s bugging me 😂
i work in a grocery store and unloading the truck is my favorite part of the job tbh
Me watching this while sitting on my forklift at work 😮😮😮😮
We need a freighter pallet building game. I built some monster overhang pallets for Singapore Cargo, EVA, Lufthansa, BA, Qatar, Korean Air, amongst many others back in my day 😂
This was pretty awesome I enjoyed this alot and I would definitely love to see you play more of this and I had a pretty good weekend and my week is starting off pretty good as well. Anyway keep up the great work much love to ya Jeff have a good one take care God bless and I will see ya on the next one brother catch ya later
You should play the new gunsmith simulator. Its super fun!
