I wasn’t sure if your comments about Valkyrie being the best hero was a joke in your other videos. Now I see you meant it. I haven’t been motivated to try her since I bought her set because everyone says she’s so bad to play. Thank you so much for making this video. Now I see you just have to build her properly and she can be amazing. I like the slow build tactic when playing characters, because it seems very thematic and climactic at the end.

Happy to help! Obviously I’m being a little over the top but I do think she is a lot better than people give her credit for. Obviously tweak my deck to your play style and the villain you’re playing and it will do well!
I tried Valkyrie as a beginner player (which I still consider myself to be!) with her precon deck and had an awful time! I really wanted to like her but didn’t have the experience to figure her out. This video helps massively!

Valk is so awesome that I have made the difficult decision to never play her in Marvel Champions. Otherwise my experience playing other heroes will be spoiled, as I'll always feel I would have been better off playing the GOAT.
That is fair. When you play perfection and then play any other hero you will only think about Valk
Quite good overall deck recommendation, but I would add that Considering her obligation and seduced, it would be better to swap out Enhanced Physique for Awareness or Reflexes (whichever the deck has less of those resources). The physical resource type matters less in this current build.

Hey D20! Do you have suggestions for a partner deck for Valk? My friend wants to play her for our next game and I want to play a deck that will support her. I thought maybe Leadership so I could handle threat and boost her stats, but would love to hear if there's a hero/aspect you think would work well. Thanks!
So if you’re doing a villain that had a lot of side schemes I would consider running Justice with like a multitasking and overwatch build. Valks weakness is thwarting so I would lean hard into that. Cap America is always a solid choice with that. As is cap marvel or gamora. If that’s not the case I think your leadership idea could absolutely work. Just make sure the Valk player has some healing cards like godlike stamina since she’s probably going to get hit in the face a lot and not want to flip down a ton. Let me know how it goes!

Another great video! I generally play a much more controlled style then you do, so I enjoy seeing how aggressively you play most heroes. I found it interesting that you actually played less aggressively with an aggression deck! By the way, I know you like Wasp a lot, too, and I just finished playing her, and it was the most fun I've had with her. Like you, I also think she's a powerful hero, but I felt like I more fully utilized her abilities and cards this time with a confuse-lock deck with lots of card draw so that I could flip down and keep recycling great cards back into her deck. Ohhhh I love a good Wasp deck, I will have to try it. And yeah, playing control with a Aggression Valk deck feels weird, but it works haha.

You can for sure. Her big attack card does have it on deathglow enemies but more doesn’t hurt

Smash the problem is also good for Hulk since you know, his thwarting sucks and HULK SMASH!!!
My favorite way to play Valkyrie is to take all her cards, use them as coasters for my beverage of choice. Then select another hero. 😂
