The cake bike seems to have decent specs, but that aside it’s got to be the most ugliest E dirtbike out. And then it being named cake doesn’t help lol I watch Sam Pilgrims channel and He has one as well those bikes, definitely rip!
Cake needs to understand this demographic. Kids. 13 to 16 Who’s parents can spend 5k on a surron. But 10k completely prices them out of this market space. And so they will eventually fade away like the others. Bummer.
Its all high quality premium components produced by cake. You actually can get a kalk for 8-10k if you look around. Now the difference is surron has cheap parts and by far not as much power unless you drop another 3-5k on it. New fork, new controller, new battery, new fender, new brakes, new wheels. Why not just buy a bike thats ready. Surron and the kalk are way too different to compare. Its a 10k difference thats worth to some people.

To get this from a surron ull end up spending more. Also high quallity specialized ebikes are even more expensive. Its nothing you can talk about, you have to feel it. Also currently the talaria xxx is the best bang for the buck, you just can drive it on europes roads, which is important for some people.

The price point is definitely a bit of a turn off especially with some of the other options in the market like you mentioned.
