Details on flight arrival process, how quarantine works. Here's how Taiwan successfully controlled the COVID-19 pandemic with a 14-day mandatory quarantine. This is how the Taiwanese government uses advanced technology for contact tracing through phone GPS either at a quarantine hotel or at home. This is my personal experience going willingly under isolation. Guidelines and expectations have been drawn out for Taiwan visitors during the COVID-19 pandemic, and all individuals who enter the country must agree and follow quarantine agenda. These videos are meant to document my experiences and share with others what it's like to be quarantined in Taiwan.

@@AnnieAiyo I just have seen it consistently recommended on Facebook by people asking for advice on quarantine hotels. Nothing bad! :)
@@AnnieAiyo Not that I know of! This was just on one of the few different Expat in Taiwan (and the like) groups. Mine is somewhat similar to yours, though mines a little more traditional and less customizable. The lack of a bowl was also something I noticed, as I got a goodie bag from the government (without a Taiwan passport!) and immediately was like....I"m not going to be able to eat this instant noodle.
Food has been good, albeit sometimes some of the more oily lunchbox suggestions (which I tend to avoid) and more chicken wings than I typically like, but everything has been tasty. I didn't have any coffee for my first 8 days, then ordered coffee delivery two days in a row. Apparently that hotel had coffee, but I didn't know to ask! They randomly brought me 20 bags of instant coffee on that second day of ordering.
