- On this week’s Taiwan Travel Vlog, we enjoy some of the best Taiwanese seafood at the popular Addiction Aquatic Development (上引水產) located right beside the Taipei Fish Market (臺北魚市).
Definitely one of our top things to do in Taipei City, this popular spot is the Taiwanese version of the Tsukiji Fish Market, serving the best and freshest seafood in Taipei. You can find everything from freshly sliced Taiwanese sushi and sashimi to grilled seafood and so much more.
Next we visit the beautiful Taipei Fine Arts Museum to check out its latest exhibit featuring Taiwanese art from the 1980s, and then cross over to Mai Square for a weekend Farmer’s Market and some shopping.
Lastly, ever wondered what makes 7-Eleven in Taiwan so special? We drop by to check out the best Taiwanese food and drinks for snacking on the go and even end up eating dinner at 7-Eleven.

can you share how to go to Taipei Fish Market without hailing a cab?
@The Awakened Nomad Hi! You can take the train to the XingTian Temple Station and look for Exit 3. But it's a 15 minute walk so most people go by cab or Grab.

Day 1: Shopping at Dihua Street or Dadaocheng, Ningxia Night Market
Day 2: Keelung Day Trip
Day 3: Taipei Fine Art Museum, Maji Maji Square, Shopping at Chifeng
Day 4: Aquatic Addiction Development, Eslite Spectrum, Songshan Cultural and Creative Park, Sunny Hills Pineapple Cake
Day 5: Shopping at Zhongxia Dunhua

Smart that you didn't go to Addiction Aquatic Development for dinner! haha. We waited nearly an hour for a standing table. Mmm, chu toro! For your next travels I would highly recommend the Google Translate app because you can even translate signs with the camera on your phone. Smart you guys didn't eat it there cause the wait can be grueling!
Haha we've considered eating at the standing bar, but there's always a wait! Good tip on the google translate. Eyeing the outdoor hotpot area in the back next!

Grocery from our experience is cheaper 🍍 but more unique fruits in the farmer's markets

do you have any taipei hotel recs?
We always like a boutique hotel with character. Our old favorite was Play Design Hotel but it's been temporarily closed. We now recommend Jasper Young Hotel which has an onsen and bigger room sizes. If you want to stay in the city center: Energy Inn in Ximending, Waterfront Hotel Taipei 松河璞旅 near Raohe night market, and WOW玩行旅台北分館 near Huashan 1914 Creative Park. Have fun!
