    Can you do a video explaining the Pros and Cons on campus and Off-Campus. Some people love to have their own space and privacy. Do students have the choice of taking an Apartment? In Taiwan is the Apartments affordable or not?

    • @sweetpotatoislandtaiwan7411
      @sweetpotatoislandtaiwan7411  4 года назад +4

      Hello, let me explain that here! On campus dorms are good because they are cheap. But it's not convenient because you need to live with 4 people and usually the room is very small. In terms of off campus dorms, you get more choices. There are single, double and triple rooms. So it's possible to have some private life there. Also the facility of the off campus dorms are way better. But it's more expensive than on campus dorms.
      For apartments, you can look for apartments, but school doesn't help you with that. You'll need to look for a real estate agent. Apartments are usually way more expensive than dorms. Usually ranging from 6000NTD to 20000NTD. Or even more than that

    hey!! thanks for your videos, I have decided to study abroad in Taiwan!
    I have been asked to list some classes that I want to take, could you recommend some classes?
    I don't need any requirements for my degree since I'll complete my degree by the end of Fall 2019.
    I'm trying to study in Taiwan so I can learn Chinese and explore the country!
    I'm looking to take 3 easy and fun class (I don't mind a hard class if it's useful or informative) so I can have time on the weekend to explore and not have to worry so much about school work.
    Also what's the best way to communicate with NTU students? Are there any facebook or reddit page?
    thanksss!

I really recommend courses titled 'Exploring Taiwan'(taught in English) and 國際生(international student) classes which are taught in Mandarin.
      Also!!! You can join 'NTU international student' facebook group!

    Wow very cool video! :)
    I will be coming to Taipei NTU in spring 2020 as-well as an exchange student. Can I ask one question? I am in the process of uploading all necessary documents for the university and I am also applying for a room at the prince dorm. I am not sure wether I should opt for the Shui Yuan Suite or a single room. Maybe you could explain what is the difference in both of them and if it is worth getting the slightly more expensive Shui Yuan Suite. Unfortunately the information available online is very limited and there are also no pictures available of the Shui Yuan Suite. I would be soo thankful for your help :)!!

    • @sweetpotatoislandtaiwan7411
      @sweetpotatoislandtaiwan7411  5 лет назад +2

      Ashley lives in the single room suite. It is a room with a common living room and a kitchen! You can watch our dorm videos to know better. If you love cooking and you usually cook your own food, then single room suite might be a good choice for you. But if not, I recommend the normal single room. By the way, everyone living in the dorm can use the common kitchen area in the lobby, so even you do not live in the suite, you still can cook:)

      Hello! Thank you for your comment:)
      Currently Taiwan is one of the safest countries and there are barely any people being tested positive. So everything's usual such as classes, activities and dorms. Students can go to school! Recently there has even been a school fair unlike from other countries that restrict activities like that!

    Hey, can you talk about what are the requirements for joining NTU for international students. Do you need any extra curricular activities, or can you get in on the basis of your score in your school?

    • @sweetpotatoislandtaiwan7411
      @sweetpotatoislandtaiwan7411  5 лет назад +1

      You need things that prove you are competent enough to study at NTU. Language proficiency test scores, high school diploma, transcript are mainly considered in the evaluation process.

    Hiii, i dont know wether you can reply my comment but i want to ask some questions like for the dorm, is it we can choose or they will decide? For the matress do we need to buy it or they prepare it? And can foreigner work part time job there? Because I really want to study at Taiwan but I not really know about college there. 🙁 Btw sorry for my bad English 🙆

    • @sweetpotatoislandtaiwan7411
      @sweetpotatoislandtaiwan7411  3 года назад

      Hello:) First, you can choose dorms to live in. You send school the priority. But the dorm you get into is randomly decided by school. For example, although you told school your priority is single room-double room-triple room, school might assign you to live in the triple room(which is not what you wanted).
      Also you need to buy mattress on your own, using your own money.
      You can work in Taiwan. But must have the work permit. Without the work permit, it's illegal to work there.
      Hope this helped:)
