I think the recent story already shows their idea to fix huge Toughness bars; multi-stage toughness bars. This still makes full downed state hard to achieve, but gives mid-points to allow for more continuous BE-based damage.
Physical MC is hard to build and it's hard to find a good support because his DMG multiplier sucks . Blade , it's HP . Seele , she's fast and all she needs is cr/cd + bronya/sparkle . Dr ratio , he utilises sparkle/ting Yun buff + nihility units very well for hyper carry or Robin + random sub dps for dual dps comp . All these heroes I mentioned has some sort of DMG multiplier that can be easily enhanced by having support . Physical TB doesn't have a good DMG multiplier, so most supports do not synergize with him.

Super break is not broken. It's just an additional dps from every team member if they have enough break effect and only while enemies are broken and only if your MC's ult is still active. But Robin is already better. She buffs everyone, she advances everyone's turns, she can make every character a dps and without any conditions except for ult uptime. New MC can make break teams better but not even close to hyper carry or DoT

It also helps that one of the puzzle pieces of a strong team is free (IMG TB), Gallagher is a somewhat accessible 4 star and you literally can plug in any dps as long as they have good toughness reducing attacks. Also you underestimate break effect teams, with Boothill when an enemy gets weakness broken the damage window is so big and literally everyone in your team will be doing damage, like Robin's ult damage is pennies compared to IMG TB getting like 150k-180k damage skills
i think that this is only available for the MC only because if we see other preservation character, only MC has taunt skill other character only can increase their/other character aggro value. im might be wrong but this my opinion. HSR DEV wanna make sure that all player will used MC, they dont want the MC become like Genshin MC where people never used it or rarely used it.
Yeah, I thought this. Taunt is pretty much unique on Fire Trailblazer so why shouldn’t super break also be unique? I didn’t think about the two different attacks for Physical Trailblazer but, you’re right, they also have a unique aspect to their kit.
I believe the solution for the huge toughness bars would be a percentage based toughness damage. No matter how lazy this sounds it seems to me this would be the way hoyo will try to market some new characters in the future

Most of the time you want to adjust your team and if you cannot break the enemy theres 2 cases: either you did not set at least one element on your team or enemy' toughness is protected which is highy situational condition and at the current moment you should not bring break team to those fights

I see TB super break is like Nilou super bloom. They took an already existing but underpowered mechanic and make it relevant And since there isn’t any Nilou 2.0 yet, I believe Harmony TB will stay unique for a long time (at least until TB get their next path/element)

Destruction MC mechanic isnt exclusive anymore thanks to Firefly. Her ult is also an empower that lets her choose between empowered S1 or S2

I think this will be exclusive to Harmony MC the same way the "taunt" is exclusive to Preservation MC no Preservation has ever had that mechanic.
