I hate to say it but, this is true, the most fun character and satisfying to use is Boothill, I was going for FF like 2 months ago but i switched and i need to say i am in love with her personality and aesthetic and her meaning, but when i saw her gameplay in leaks, i was more hyped about the character herself rather than the gameplay, i am still deciding if going for her or not, most likely I will just wait until her rerun and if I still want her in the team i get her (Also i would not mind getting her, but her team just breaks so much the Boothill team that is a little pain to build all that, More so me having Acheron). I dont know how to express it but, watching her in the story is a 10/10 but in my team something feels off and that with boothill doesnt happen but hey depends on what i decide.
I feel that too.😂 I guess one explanation is that gameplay IS different from character design and character appreciation. In terms of gameplay mechanics, Jingliu’s and Boothill’s kits are my favorite, very satisfying to use. And I absolutely adore them as characters. That’s why I only play and pull for characters that I both love the character AND the gameplay. I absolutely love Argenti as a character. Every time he speaks I start smiling because of how each word he says, he says it as if each one of them is the most beautiful thing he’s ever said in his life, but his gameplay isn’t really gameplay if I’m being honest😂
Hanya can sort of work to replace RM in FF's team, but you need like ungodly speed on both Hanya and FF, Hanya's E4, and a few copies of DDD. Might be cheaper to just pull RM lmao I wish I got more Hanya, my Hanya is only E1 atm
Breaking the enemies' hopes and dreams as they sit there and accept their quick death without lifting a finger, is why I love break characters, they try to fight back sometimes but one look from Ruan and they're back into their depression
@@johnd7760 it's a lot more fun though and a lot easier to build and play Imo. you can also play SW instead of RM to make it more Flexible and reliable at the cost of dmg but it's actually still decent.
I skipped Boothill even though I accidentally pulled his light cone (meant to get Fu Xuan's, which I did end up getting too). I just really wanted to use my guarantee on Firefly. Watching this video makes me excited to pull Boothill on his rerun though. For now I'm really not sure what to do with this damn light cone lol maybe it'll work for Hunt path March? Maybe it's a good excuse to level up Sushang? Dunno.
E1 Firefly is a really great choice for me....since she can make most Skill spamming supports work as efficiently as possible, like 2 turn Burst Asta and HMC or even Bronya, which overall lead to more Dmg output.
My rolls for Firefly and RM was the first time i was lucky in Star Rail Only had 80 summons, no guarantee. No RM, so i had to sacrifice her for Firefly. Rolled for Firefly. 2nd multi was gold, won 50/50. Rolled the last 60 for Ruan Mei. Had no luck, but then when i redeemed a few singles, rolled a few more. I think 7 more rolls, Ruan Mei. Now i have to build a whole new team, 4 whole characters xD
I lost the 50/50 to clara at 80 pulls and now im at 81 pity after losing and still no firefly, i havent gotten a single character early since jingliu, including standar banner and lightcones, i think this game just hates me (i also lost boothills 75/25 on his lightcone)
I don't think we should be comparing between a hunt character and a destruction character because the hunt will only hit one enemy so of course he will break faster while the destruction will hit three enemies and will break slower than the hunt. but if you use them together it will be too op.
Id say basically the only downside to firefly is 2 things. Her damage is heavily reliant on harmony mc, if what i saw was accurate its like 20% of her damage in normal damage and the other 80% is super break. And without e1 she's super skill point hungry wanting to skill literally every turn and since shes so fast you will burn through sp like qq
why is being tied to harmony mc a "downside" tho ? like I can understand that if we were forced to spend +100 pulls to get them , but luckily that's not the case , we can get their E6 for FREE , and they are very good break support .. that's like saying Acheron needs nihility only is a downside , as for sp , you shouldn't face SP issues with Gallagher in the team , he's the second most sp postive support in the game after Luocha . if you find troubles with SP management with Gallagher on the team that's honestly just a skill issue

Archon needs nihility but you have multiple nihility choices making for more varied team options i feel the same about dan heng il being so tied to sparkle. I personally don't mind her being tied to hmc at all but its still a downside that some other characters don't have even if its a minor one.
@@darkwolf9637 well it depends on the player's prospective , you may find that it's a bad thing that her best support is HMC, i actually find it great since there is no other team in my account that want MC , which means he can free up valuable supports for the other team like Sparkle/Tingyun , same thing for Gallagher ... this is the exact reason why I decided to pull for Acheron , when some people used to say that her not being able to use broken harmony supports I personally saw it as a positive thing , since she can use my less demanded supports like pela/silverwolf and leave my harmony supports for the other team
You know it's still kinda baffles me that Boothill's the only Hunt in the game that has no way of Consequtive Attack or ways to manipulate his Action and Speed. Which is ironic when a Destructuon has both
it is what it is... but the interesting thing is boothill is one of the first few characters that can activate duo dps teams and perform really well (aside from dot teams) boothill synchronizing with himeko, acheron is rather satisfying to see

I don't think i'll ever build ST dps in the future , I know they can be strong too , but I find AOE dps like Firefly , Acheron , Imbibitor Lunae a lot more fun to play , and more consistent .. I built Dr.ratio , just to end up benching him and sticking to Dan Heng
Well actually jiaoqiu is currently 15% worse than pela in a firefly team 😅 At the moment jiaoqiu is really not that great for any team that isn't acheron's like he is a great support but he is worse than pela in most of them and is only valuable in dot when E2 as a replacement for ruan mei/robin

@@ohyou8437 until you realize toughness damage both deal per rotation, boothill can have 585 toughness dmg / 55 av due to bronya while firefly whole rotation will be 1530 toughness dmg / 140 av, and we still haven't count that firefly got 50% superbreak multiplier while boothill can go 170% break multiplier +30% additional standoff damage

nah just explore penacony though u wont need to 100% all maps (just 100% ones that r easy to) and quests also give clock credits so its not really difficult :p
