    Hallo . Danke für dein Video. Ich werde bei meinem Omech 100W auch ein LED-Licht verbauen aber war mir nicht sicher wegem Anschliessen am Kontroller. Auf Anfrage beim Omtec Support wurde mir gesagt dass ich nicht am Kontroller anschliessen soll, da dieser Anschluss nicht für Dauerbelastung von über 1A ausgelegt sei. Deshalb habe ich noch ein 70W 24V Netzgerät bestellt um den Kontroller nicht zu überlasten. Schöne Festtage Ueli

    As seen in the video at 5:47, is the pin labeled (+24V - GND) used for the laser dot on your machine? Additionally, can the LED strips be connected to this pin? I'm asking about safety concerns-would more voltage be required to power both the existing cable shown at 5:47 and the LED strips?

      I believe this is correct, yes! Since I disabled the factory installed laser dot on my machine, I felt confident in using this block to make my LED lights connection.

    Hi, thank you for the insight! Question, why don't you connect the new LED strip to the cables of the one that was pre-installed on the machine instead of creating a new cabling system?

      I could have, I suppose. I had just watched another video of someone doing a similar project, so I figured I’d give it a try! Thanks for the question.

      I went with some 24g wire that I purchased on Amazon.
