Interesting that they discuss the makeup of the ghoul. I was a bit disappointed that his makeup looked too human like and not resembling the ghouls in the games. But their explanation makes sense, that with him getting so much screen time the face can't be completely hideous and half rotten. I guess the story kind of makes sense too, that he has had good access to drugs that has kept him from turning completely into a ghoul.
This is a brilliant show having binged all 8 episodes. I never really delved into the games, but having seen the main cast interviews, you can tell they have a passion for their characters. Great writing, great story, and great characters thus far. Season 2 please.

It was a great cast. Each brought something different. Can't wait to see the development of Coop to becoming the ghoul. It will be great to see how Goggins shows that change.
So glad Jonathan Nolan got this, he’s a gamer and fallout fan and they did this series right. Halo was such a bomb and I was hesitant cause I love fallout, and they did such a good job, plus Walton has been one of my fave actors ever since I seen him in the Tarantino movies, just a good cast overall all of them Lucy and Maximus really do their roles good too, I really like how Maximus like, it reminds me of when I first played new Vegas and saw the brotherhood of steel in the power armor and wanting to join them so bad, but only to find out how dysfunct and in general contradicting the brotherhood can be, but still wanting to do the right thing in the end. Lmao it’s crazy fallout is just a game but it really does a good job of giving players choices/decisions and dilemmas that challenge our morals and the show did a good job with that
Goggins was absolutely brilliant! The show started poorly but the last episode made everything click together. Some plot holes are clear and obvious but Goggins carried the entire show and without him it wouldn't be as good. Lucy was really good and Maxiumus was good too.
What a great cast. Walton is always excellent. Been a fan of Purnell since Peregrine and Wildlike, and Muad-Dib himself! I mean, c'mon. Killer cast. And the new guy, Maximus quickly grew on me. Fight Choreography was terrible the first couple episodes. Acting (Especially when getting injured, is god awful at times)... BUT, sometimes the acting is great. And the fight choreography does get better after the third episode. And beyond that, it's actually a REALLY good show. Much less a video game adaptation. I was impressed. It's an 8/10 for me.
Ella Purnell is really gonna end up in my top tier British actors, there's so much personality in them and it shows in the characters they play on TV. Can't wait to see more.
I was so worried going into this show. With the way the Halo show went and most marvel/Star Wars shows recently, and rings of power. But wow was I blown away by this first season. I think we are hitting a turning point where the creators realize there is a reason that a fan base already exists and that staying true to what the original fans love will give you a good show that will draw attention for others while maintaining the fanbase you already have.
its like walter goggins pointed out in this video, these worlds are already fleshed out and good enough to just be converted over to a show adaptation. halo had NO business messing with the story details when the game itself is proof that they had an amazing story already laid out for them to work with but their arrogance came through and they thought they could do better than the original writers. im so glad the fallout producers are paying respect to the source material, i can't wait for season 2 which is something i cant say for my halo, my favorite game franchise. I couldn't even get through season 1 with how off putting it was to me lol

In the Ghouls character I saw a lot of Doc Holliday from Tombstone im the way he talks and just overall carries himself
Both are incredible actors. Loved the fallout series. They completely respected the source material, something important to me, which honestly makes me respect them so much.
At first I didn't think I was going to like his character. But he turned out to be a great character and he's a good actor. Very original.
I havent finished the show yet but Ella Purnell and Walter Goggins are killing it in their roles
I think they get better at the roles as it goes on too
Perri you do a great job making your interviews deliver substance.
already waiting for season 2
Really good interview and questions. Refreshing is an understatement. Watched the whole thing!
Man Walter goggins is a amazing dude like he's all about the process. Just like the show he steals the interview and has a charisma about him.
It was a great cast. Each brought something different. Can't wait to see the development of Coop to becoming the ghoul. It will be great to see how Goggins shows that change.
amazing interviews, thank you
The show is great! Walton is very eloquent in this interview, loved his insight on his character.
Thank God for Walton Goggins, I hope he realizes the new cowboy legend he created for this generation. Epic, Truly Epic in his class of Acting!
always happy when i check out an interview and Perri is the interviewer, she always has incredibly good questions
Aaron Molten did such an incredible job.....
Great interview with a lot of insightful questions. It had to be Perri. She's fantastic.
Walton has been saying so much and articulating this all really well, I’m impressed.
Lmao it’s crazy fallout is just a game but it really does a good job of giving players choices/decisions and dilemmas that challenge our morals and the show did a good job with that
“Aye I would be ready for the raiders..”- “no”💀
I Loved every single scene with Walton, Loved his pre-war story arch and his character in general
Goggins was absolutely brilliant! The show started poorly but the last episode made everything click together. Some plot holes are clear and obvious but Goggins carried the entire show and without him it wouldn't be as good. Lucy was really good and Maxiumus was good too.
“The Ghoul” deserves a animated series featuring Lucy & Maximus on Prime
Searching for The Ghoul’s daughter.
Nothing can be trusted in the Wasteland
Animated? They’re making the live action and that’s part of the story? That’s the show you’re watching a video about lol
@@ajcheaytelli4465 I dont think he knows the show came out
What a great cast. Walton is always excellent. Been a fan of Purnell since Peregrine and Wildlike, and Muad-Dib himself! I mean, c'mon. Killer cast. And the new guy, Maximus quickly grew on me. Binged the entire show in one sitting lol. The story connections seem a bit contrived but it's a cool web of melodrama. And the visual and audio design is spot on. Se2 can't come any sooner.
Walter Goggins and the rest of the cast made this show very "special"! I loved the adaptation it was true to the atmosphere and emotion of the stories in the Fallout games. Well done! Can't wait for the next season!
ah, he worked on westworld, explained why it was so good!
P.S. watch season 4 of westworld if you didn't finish the series, it completely redeems and explains season 3
i am happy that this show didnt need mods to work
You could say.. "it just works"
Walton Goggins saying she can do one more question was so awesome.
Westworld 2016 to PRESENT!?
Walton Goggins is a class act! Also great interview! I’ve never seen an actor beg for one more question before!
I still didn't saw the show, but I'm really happy for people being liking it. I know, many "NV-cultists" are not happy, but hey.. They're never happy.
Thank you for putting the effort and love into this amazing whole athmosphere that is Fallout. Specially when the games are kinda going downhill since a bit ago.
I am a NV cultist, loved it. Not sure why they moved the location of an entire city hundreds of miles away, but aside from that it's great.
@@LiteralCrimeRaveWhat do you mean when you say they “moved the location of a city hundreds of miles away”?
@AKCFTW Shady sands isn't supposed to be anywhere near the boneyard
"Hundreds" is an exaggeration
@@LiteralCrimeRave Fair enough. Shady Sands is in Northern California, and “The Boneyard” is obviously not. I mean, hell, Shady Sands is not that far from Redding.
The whole cast was amazing. But Walton Goggins MVP. Love that dude.
As someone with 800+ hours into Fallout 4 alone, this show nailed it.
Fallout 4 is not real fallout. 1-2, brotherhood of steel, 3 and vegas are legit, 4 is when "bad" fallout begins..
@@RaZziaN1god fallout fans can be so elitist and annoying, get off ur high horse bro
@@RaZziaN1its all set in the same universe and is cannon, as someone who never completed fallout 4 because it wasnt quite my “cup of tea” i say to each their own, we hate out of the high expectations we have from preceding games for sure, but to me fallout is fallout regardless and it hold a special place in my heart as my favorite single player franchise in my lifetime, so they didnt shoot 100%, or bat 1.000 in that respect sure, either way i can accept that without it taking away any of the love i have for the franchise… and since watching the full series i redownloaded fallout 4 again and am gonna give it another try
@@chelly3190Nah he’s 100% right
@@djmilehigh7472I still have new vegas on my Xbox not fallout 4
@@musek5048 Halo reach is one of my favorite games of all time. The second season of Halo turned the entire battle of reach into a bottle episode where chief doesn’t have any armor and the Spartan 3’s don’t exist until after reach in the show. And they make the spartan 3’s worse than the spartan 4’s. One of the Spartan 3 recruits is literally a comms officer with no battlefield experience, they also don’t have any augmentations and don’t wear Mjolnir armor. Super disappointing all aroond
@@sycoutuber92 i just dont understand what their thought process is going that direction with the franchise. do they seriously think they could rewrite a better story than bungie did? they're failing terribly if thats the case lol
@@musek5048 that’s exactly what they thought. They figured that master chief didn’t have enough depth to be the main character of a tv show, so they thought they would rewrite one of the best fictional characters ever made. Bunch of bullshit. I mean fallout is a little easier in some sense because they have the freedom to create any character they want, but they still created a main character that feels like first character I played as in fallout 3. Just a vault dweller with messiah level hood karma lol.
19:46 the Ghoul legitimately is handsome in a post-apocalyptic way. Goggins nailed it. He’s obviously been physically destroyed by this world, but in a way that’s very distinguishing.
He's like a young Denzel :) , very nice and talented
ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I don't know about him, but the leader of the group that digs up The Ghoul? I had to look long and hard at THAT guy. Thought maybe Denzel was a big Fallout fan and just had to make a cameo.
@@chuckyufarley2999that’s bubba from forest gump!
There is only one question that needs to be asked, when is season 2 dropping?
