I have the HP Victus 16-s0075nr model (2023) and overall the screen wobble is not even there and simply wobbles like any other laptop when you test the wobble. It's quite sturdy and quite better than previous models.
In India we have this laptop with same specs but in black color for 1750$...performance blue color is also available but with 100% srgb and 165hz pricing 1850$
@@Chris-123 all true. But having a second drive is cheaper. You can get more disk space for less money. And m.2 ssd use VERY little power. Especially if the are inactive. Also for some tasks it's worth having a separate drive (video editing for cache and temp files etc.) it's a clear negative point for some people while others don't care that much. My personal laptop even has 2 x m.2 slots and a sata slot. And I use all 3 of them. While having 5 disks in my desktop PC 🤷♂️
This is on sale for $800 right now. I can't decide on that or the Omen with a 13420 which is also on sale for $800. Both have 4050's and 16gb ram but the Victus has DDR5.

It's one of the most silent ones compared to other 4050 laptops. But it makes it hotter while on idle. But while gaming, it's cooler compared to other 4050s
my expirience : (i have ryzen7 7840hs + rtx 4060) great expirience even with low fan rpm(2200 locked) or 2200-3000 pretty silent. 4000-5000 loud over 5600 pretty loud. -minus: using on my lap blocks the fans. will get warm if you game in your bed :) side fact: the gpu and cpu share 1 heatsink with 2 fans, so the temps allways average out. -minus: msi afterburner cant get the sensor data

I asked to HP support if it has only one m2 slot and they sent me document of the series 16-r0xxx and according to series they have 2 m2 gen4 slots. Is this laptop you have 16r-0xxx series and did you open the back to check? I'm so confused.
@@Hubwooddid you check it by disassembling back because all the videos i watched 16 series have 2 m2 slots and also their fans are separated but in 15 series their fans are side by side they have one m2 slot and also one place for m2 slot but it's not integrated so unusable
I have same question. Mine vicgus 16 with 4050 came with 1 tb ssd so I won't waste time trying to open the chassis but I think it has 2 gen4 ssd slots as well as other Victus 16 chasis

Big issue with these: hp is still using the same screens they did as far back as 2018 at least. There is even a 60hz option available, so if the refresh rate is not listed dont buy. This mostly applies to the 15 inch variant Ifs a shame. A good laptop otherwise

For the price, with such performance, I would actually get this while waiting out for Nvidia's 5000 series, cos it doesn't justify buying new laptops typically costing thousands of dollars that are coupled with the current nvidia's 4000 series.....the 4000 series doesn't make sense with their price to performance value not to mention the pathetic amount of VRAM in nvidia's cards...

Since the screen doesnt open with one hand, I would say it looks stiffer and less wobbly

@@PWEX69XD there is only %4 difference between the CPUs. But 4050 is way more stronger than 3050 Ti and it comes with frame generation support.
