Kampot and Luang Prabang are probably my 2 favourite places in SE Asia so I knew you would love Luang Prabang having watched your Kampot vlog a few months ago. LP shows you can have development and a tourist influx without destroying a town so I remain hopeful Kampot can retain its wonderful, calm, picturesque charm full of beautiful, warm locals. One recommendation; the alms giving ceremony in the centre of town is a cesspool of disgracefully behaved and disrespectful tourist groups turning a sacred institution into a mass selfie opportunity with ongoing paparazzi blinding flashes, etc. Go 250 meters out of the town centre or across the river walking bridge to watch deeply religious locals respectfully offering their rice alms in the manner they have for generations.
It looks great, you have more courage than me when you hop down into the rice paddy. All organic, which means you were standing in mud that was fertilized with water Buffalo poop, and maybe a little night soil, as the Chinese say. But you didn't get sick which is great. I would have been paranoid for a couple of weeks that I would be sick. LoL
I Love Luang Prabang, it is so relax.
That water looks so blue!
It was! 👓
amazing video. you should have so many more views. love your work.
thanks :)
It is close to China, if you drive it takes 2 days to get to China from Luang prabang
