Im a chevy man but this is exceptional. 👍 my dad had a 63 unibody which was practicly all metal down to the dash with a straight 6 but could haul anything up steep terrain in compound.
That 300 six was a workhorse, but was very anemic. It would have been much better to have 4:10 gears. That engine really came on when it was injected in 87. I had a 79 swb 4x4 and it was a beast. It had the c-6, 351 with 4:10 gears.
Beautiful truck I inherited my fathers 79 f150 ranger and I’m not 100 percent sure what engine I have in it the fourth digit of vin is a s so I think it’s a 6.6 liter
