Hi Kim and Jonna. I am enjoying your videos. I am knitting and crocheting again at the age of 75 and am enjoying it so much. I finished crocheting two afghans, one for my daughter and one for my 11 year old granddaughter. I am teaching my 17 year old daughter and my 11 year old granddaughter to knit. They are doing great. Both of you are great knitters. Your items that you made are beautiful. Take Care.😊
I’ve recently subscribed, so I am speeding through the numbered episodes, then will catch up on the “extras”. Thanks for all the good info you give. I used to live near Troublesome Creek in Knott County, Ky. Back in the 30’s-40’s a lot of lady missionaries would ride on mules to get to the isolated communities for start Sunday Schools. We spent 13 years in the area and made many wonderful friends.
Barrett Wool Co., Susan B Anderson's company! What a darling kit! hadn't seen that one. I just love sitting, knitting and listening to you both. I learn so much, I laugh, I cry (sometimes).. just lovely. thank you so much. love, hugs, prayers.
Thank you so much for such a heartfelt comment. We do the same (sometimes)! So glad you're along with us. We both feel very blessed by our little community!
Lol YOU DONT HAVE TO RUSH!!! Yes I knit hair into my projects constantly. My friend joked when she gave me a baby blanket she crocheted but didn’t wash, “there’s my hair, dog hair, cat hair, probably a chicken feather but you have all that at your house too so you’ll be fine” 😂I love her. And you guys. And knitting! ❤️
Aida Boza . Glad you both are back. Don’t apologize things happen, great that you both are well. We have never had COVID till two weeks ago and went through the whole family but me. Like you Kim I slept next to my husband and stayed negative. Thank you ladies.
I'm so glad you're back and feeling better. Greetings from Bremen in Germany I binge watched all your episodes during the last weeks. Our little girl just turned one and you podcast is my favorite to show watch when I get a break. ♥️
You both brighten so many people's days (and mine) - for me, I LOVE what you share and the fact that you are genuine. Stay well and keep the podcasts coming as your time permits.....Covid was not so kind to you....I was lucky and thankful to stay home due to vaccines and the booster. SO thankful you both are well...(your families too). ❤
Wow! Kim, you are so awesome… we know editing is not easy and you do such a wonderful job putting these podcasts together! We love you both and Thank you for all you share and all you do! I truly love 💕 sitting and knitting with you. Thank you 😊 🤗
Thank you for another wonderful episode. I so enjoy listening to both of you talking (and laughing) about your lovely projects and knitting adventures (and life adventures)! I'm glad to hear that you are all feeling better.
Thank you for mentioning your "cast on mistake". Quite a lot of native speakers say "casted" and I've alraedy looked it up several times because I thought there was sth. wrong with my memory or that I was too old to notice that language has changed (I'm 66 and German). I absolutely love your podcast. It's always very inspiring, funny, entertaining and helpful. XXX Claudia.
So glad you're both feeling better 💖 Here for ALL the WIPS!!! ... and very tempted to join in on the frog knitting 🐸 Too cute! And thank you so much for the yarn love!! Excited to be Soldotna twins with you, Kim! 😄👯♀
Hello. I just found your channel and I love everything about it! I have binged watched you all weekend. I love seamed sweaters and appreciates that Kim likes them too. They fit me so much better than any other type sweater and it is rare to see them featured on a channel. Nothing more satisfying than a beautiful mattress stitch seam! However I am going to knit a Ranunculus soon because you two both rave about the fit. …. I am hoping it will be the first raglan sleeve that I actually like on me.
Really appreciated the thoughts about changing plans - I moved 3000km last year, and now all of my shawl plans have morphed into jumper/sweater plans. I was feeling a bit weird recently about having all sorts of single skeins that I didn't know what to do with, but I've actually been having so much fun taking them all out and putting them together in new ways. I'm at the point where I LOVE nearly everything in my stash which makes it much easier (there's one annoying skein that I bought to put with a jumper quantity which I ended up selling, RIDICULOUS decision, so it reminds me of that every time I look at it).
Kim, with your beautiful yarn you could make a Seaglass tee! It’s basically a “scrappy” sweater, but it would show how well your colours work together because of the way they all mix together.
Glad you were finally able to broadcast. I just cast on my Dingley Dell. Funny you should talk about Grammar. About a month ago I looked up the past tense of "knit" and "Cast". The formal (British) past tense of Knit is Knit. However, "knitted" is acceptable in the US/North America. However, past tense of "cast" is "cast.
Another fun, informative episode. Yes. life has a way of upending many plans - glad everyone is doing better. Your projects are wonderful - inspiring as always.
So nice to see you! Kim your hair and the sweater behind you match! Awesome! Glad everyone is feeling better. All those sweaters are gorgeous. And the yarn...! Jonna I too have fallen down the linen quill rabbit hole. Love your podcasts! Thanks!
Oh that was such fun and I’m so glad you are feeling better. Thanks for all the joy and inspiration. I just light up with excitement when your Podcasts show up in my feed 💪🏻💃🥰
I am in KAL and the sweater is so interesting to knit but I am a slow knitter, I hope to finish by the end of August! I also love the idea of wearing a sweater over a dress, what a great idea! I am also knitting the Yume but I don't love the doubling of the yarn. I might frog and try again. Thank you for the inspiration.
Jonna - because you said you timed your Purl rows…..For Dingley Dell I am in the Purl rows after sleeve separation and I took 10 minutes on the Purl rows. I’m a thrower and not a particularly fast knitter although I am methodical and have a stable rhythm. Just FYI for your questioning about other knitters experiences. Now onto joining in the round! YAY! 💃
Greetings from Australia! Thanks again for another inspiring episode. Jonna you have also inspired me to dust off my sewing machine again - the sewing bug is also starting to bite - along with the knitting bug! Sooo many projects lined up!!!
I hear you! So many...the sewing is nice for some instant gratification for sure!! Although, my house is always a mess after a sewing project. Knitting is so portable and CLEAN! Have a lovely Sunday whatever you choose!
Thanks for a great knitting time. Glad you are both feeling well now! I got inspiration from you for many future projects. And I loved the idea of knitting the front and the back at the same time.
Hello I was so sorry to here about your husband, Kim. My daughter is almost 30 and has had epilepsy since she was a child. About 6 years ago her doctor implanted a Vagus Nerve Simulator. It has made a life changing different. I am not sure if your husband would be a candidate but it is worth asking about. Love you guys. Your sweaters are beautiful. Love your podcast!!
I say "I knitted this sweater" too, Kim. It's not "incorrect"; it's a regional variation. So is saying "spit" (rather than "spat") for the past tense of "spit". It's all good.
That’s how my test was May 1… barely a line and my daughters both answered my texts with “that’s like you’re a little bit pregnant mom” 😂😂😂 It wasn’t so bad except for the first 2 days, but this darned tickle cough is still with me! It’s just a nuisance. But glad you’re all well now and back podcasting. Love your makes…and your stories… and your enthusiasm. Congratulations on a lovely successful podcast.
Thank you! I'm glad you're mostly recovered. My husband has a lingering tickle 2 months later. Mint tea with honey seems to work as well as anything else. Thank you for watching!
Glad you have returned to recording. Happy to hear your health as returned and all is well especially the baby. Can’t believe your knitting establishment is where I purchased the yarnadelic.
So pleased late last night to see that you ladies had posted a new video. Knew I was in for a treat the following day. I wasn't disappointed it was thoroughly enjoyable. So glad that everyone has recovered from the dreaded C. The yarns were beautiful and it was great just to watch you both discussing your wips, frogs etc. I am in Kettering England and was glad that you mentioned Loop as I plan to go for my birthday treat in August. I Look forward to seeing your next episode x
Great episode! You ladies both make such beautiful sweaters!! Thank you for your podcast! I, too, have had Covid since your previous episode. I’m 74 and diabetic, but miraculously i had a mild case. Like Jonna, i was pretty miserable for several days, but thankfully no trip to the ER!! I’m so glad you both are feeling better and are able to podcast! Remember to rest….the after effects of Covid stay with you a long time! ❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you so much! I'm glad you did so well with covid. I'm grateful my Dad hasn't gotten it. Sounds like you and I had a similar experience. Yes, we're still coughing and sniffling! At least we're all in this together!!
Kim! Love your naturally dyed yarn! My pattern suggestion is the Sea glass sweater by Wool & Pine. Perfect for those colors. Greetings from San Francisco. Love your podcast.
Hi Nanette! The Sea Glass was my first thought, but I don't have enough yarn to make it as is. I would have to make it slightly cropped with shorter sleeves, or supplement with a similar yarn that would "match" my hand-dyed yarn. :) Kim
I was thinking Seaglass Sweater for your dyed yarn Kim, as I think others have mentioned too. Jonna, your Salty Air Tee is lovely and I definitely want to look up the Dawa top. I’ll be in Westchester apartment sitting in September so maybe a visit to PUES is in order!
Great to see yo both back and delighted your Covid experience wasn't too bad. Love all your finished projects and wips. I have the Laminarus cardigan by Carol Feller on my needles so can relate to Jonna's timing her purl rows, they take forever but I'm lovin it. liz
Oh wow 😮 I too knit my hair into my projects … and I have long dark hair ☺️ it is definitely a design element 😊 loved this episode ❤️❤️❤️ thanks for sharing your wonderful projects ❤️❤️❤️
Is it bad that I'm already waiting for the next sale??? Today, I bought the Santolina to make the Sunday Dinner dishcloth. It's just beautiful. Thinking Christmas gifts already!
Hi Kim, about your Yume, I had the same problem with my Yume of "excess yarn under the arms", as you put it. In my view, it's that the underarm is too low. I corrected this with some surgery (Fruity Knitting explains this very well). I took out about 3 cm (a little over 1 inch) of stockinette just after the lace, then Kitchener-stitched the 2 parts back together. Obviously, if you're knitting a new Yume, just do the sleeve-body split a few cm earlier.
Sorry for my delayed reply, but wow, great idea! I'm just a little too lazy (Haha!). I still like it the way it is, but if it ever starts to really bother me, I'll look into Andrea's fix. :) Kim
Another fun Episode with gorgeous makes! Jonna, I just learned the alternate cable cast one with Caleb! I watched so many tutorials but his spoke to me! Have an amazing rest of August!!!!!
I am wondering if he took the summer off? I haven't seen a video from him lately. I love how succinct and informative they are. I hope he comes back soon!
Thanks for your wide ranging podcast. Love all the information and ideas you share. Kim, Suzanne Bryan has an excellent series about fitting yoke sweaters. I hope to visit the shop when I come to Westchester in late August.
Thank you, I'll let her know. We talked about it afterwards, and I think she chose too large of a size. Maybe the garment stretches out, too, with wear. The armholes are definitely too deep. Fortunately, I think she is the only one who notices!
So excited to see you two posted a video! Jonna I too love Doc Martin! Kim I secretly love that you’re hoarding more yarn and casting on more than one project! How is your crochet flower blanket coming along? Jonna I’m so glad you and hubby made it through Covid! Thank you ladies!!! ❤️
Thank you, Catherine. I secretly love that she has come over to our side, lol! I've watched some of the episodes multiple times!! Such great characters. I watched Rev. while I was sick and I absolutely LOVED it. Tom Hollander and Olivia Coleman. Highly recommend! I watched it on Britbox.
Hi Ladies - I sent the link (via Ravelry) to Here Comes the Sun by Handmade Closet to Kim. I'm looking forward to seeing your version in the future, your colors are lovely!
How have I only just found you...I loved your podcast today & will be subscripting to listening to your wonderful projects & recommendations. Sadly live in the UK, would have loved to come to your store during the event.
I loved the conversation about how we acquire yarn and patterns and changing our minds. Early on I felt like I should not repeat patterns. It seemed like I was supposed to be making something new and different each time. While I do knit a variety of patterns but I have also realized that my t-shirts all have the same neckline but different colors and lengths so why not do something similar in my knitting. It has been very freeing. Love "Gradma crop"!
I am currently knitting a Salty Air Tee as well - and I absolutely love it! I am using a Chelsea Yarn merino/linen yarn in a raspberry color and it is divine to knit with! The lace yoke pattern was very easy to follow - especially with stitch markers between to mark the repeats! Love watching you two - wish I had a knitting bestie to share my love of knitting with as you two do!
I didn't realize she had a merino/linen yarn! Her pinks are the best. It sounds gorgeous. I hope you post it on IG and tag us so we can see it! Yes, I found the markers super helpful. That way you can't get too far off pattern!
Thank you ladies. Glad your family is feeling better Jonna and I hope your husband finds work soon. Kim I hope your husband finds the medical support/medication he needs for his medical condition; will pray for both of you. Love your wips and finished projects, yarn and yarn bags; wow, such a lovely episode, as always. Are you able to share some garden photos Kim; would love to see your garden. Love the term 'Grandma Crop'; trying to get comfortable with cropped sweaters; they're so cute with jeans or a dress or even over top of a longer blouse. Looking forward to the next episode; take care; love you ladies. (Calgary, Alberta)
Hi! Thank you so much for watching and commenting. I will definitely try to show some photos of my garden, but it's a disaster this year. The deer have eaten everything because I was so busy with the channel this spring, that I didn't have time to protect my plants as they started to come up. And I'm so happy you like my "grandma crop" term. Haha! :) Kim
Great episode so far, half way through. Haha. The chat about fitting is interesting. I will check out those podcasts Jonna mentioned. Thanks for all the info. Please don’t be concerned about the delays. Life happens to us all, and what I like about your podcast is that I feel like we’re all friends. We all understand our friends get tripped up with family and medical stuff. It’s so great to see you again. I’m going back to watch the second half now. Knitting my Dingley Dell at same time.
Glad to hear that you are feeling better, I too thought I was gong to escape Covid. Not so. I got it first the end of May, and then tested positive AGAIN, the end of July, ( 8 weeks later. ) Still recuperating, the second time was worse than the first. Hope y'all stay well.
Kim, I am doing the After the Storm Cardigan by Kelly Fowler. She has you hold 10 sts either side of the front and back at underarms. Then you Kitchener them together before proceeding with the sleeve. Maybe something like that would help reduce the amount of fabric under the arms. It means you have 40 less stitches in that underarm bodice. Not sure how that would translate to a circular yoke but I’m sure you could make it work.
Loved every minute! You both are so funny. Plus you're very informative. I like how you give tips and explain how you might have changed a sleeve or hem, etc. Excellent information! PS. I think I'm the only knitter that hasn't made a Ranunculus! And that Salty Air Tee has my name on it (I have six skeins of Linen Quill, 3 in Peony Pink and 3 in Rosewood Pink) 🤗 Take care, be well until we visit you on the next one. 💞👋🏻
Sorry about the Covid and all. We have been through some of the same. Lots of things get canceled and changed around. Jonna I love your dress. You look so lovely. I am trying to change my look to wear more dresses with sweaters over them. You are both fun and help me do a lot of more interesting projects. I am still trying to learn more about Ravelry. It’s still sort of a mystery to me. I love being able to get patterns.
Hi Ladies! I always enjoy your podcasts! The longer the better is what “floats my boat”. I read the book and saw the movie for Where the Crawdad’s Sing. I loved both, although I may have enjoyed the book just a little more. ( maybe because I read it first, and just adored it). I tried to listen to The Book Woman…but just couldn’t do it. Probably because of the narrator…and I’m a reader! I, too, would like to see Mrs. Harris goes to Paris. Now, to knitting…your sweaters are beautiful that you knit. I’m still working on my Ranunculus, I’m to the split for the sleeves, and am just nervous…so it has been sitting in a basket for months. I guess I’m just loving socks right now. I’d love to make the summer sweater , but figure if I can finish the Ranunculus, I probably couldn’t handle this. Odd thing is, I think I’m past the more challenging parts. So, as I ramble on…I’m going to get back to it ASAP. I, too, had the virus. But it wasn’t bad at all. I was tired, and had a dull headache first, then I got a sore throat and a cough. I managed to get a uti with it which was the worst part of all. But as soon as the antibiotic worked, I was fine. Every symptom went away. So 2 days were rough. My husband who is not vaccinated, was my biggest worry. But he did not get it! It took 11 days for a negative reading. I was really bored, and just didn’t feel like doing anything. Not because I hurt, I was just tired. So, I can say I’ve had it. Thankful for the vaccine which made it manageable as I am a diabetic. I have always wanted to order a kit from Barrett wool, and am eager to see yours knit up! Both of you enjoy the rest of your month, and being with your families. I will look forward to your next podcast! You make me want to knit, knit, knit! ❤️🧶❤️🧶😉
Thank you for your sweet note! Happy to hear you've recovered and that your husband stayed well! You are totally past the hard part on the Ranunculus. The instructions for splitting for sleeves are very detailed. You can do it! I'm anxious to get the bear knit up....maybe by the next episode!
Sodaltna is actually a small town on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. It is a darling down, on a beautiful peninsula on the Cooke Inlet. My daughter is there right now working at their hospital on a travel contract. She says it is beautiful.
I always love your podcasts! ..love the projects you share, as well as the designers, and the yarn! Another thing I love are the project bags you both are using in this podcast! Is there a particular place you purchase them from, or have you collected them over time as you’ve visited different shops? (Thanks for recommending Jessalyn Janice’s project bags!)
Sorry for the delayed reply, but thank you so much for your kind words! Unfortunately, I can't remember which project bags we were using in this episode. Sorry. But our first project bags were from Katydidbags. Jonna has also made some of her own using the kzstevens pattern for Japanese Rice Bags. We also received two bags from a viewer. And finally, of course, we have a couple of bags from Jessalyn Janice. :) Kim
Awesome podcast! Thank you for brightening my day. Unfortunately, my hubby and I caught Covid after three years of preventing it. I can’t knit during this time either because of headaches! Thanks for sharing and juggling all the craziness during these long drawn out pandemic time! ❤️❤️
The headache was wicked! I hope you're feeling better soon. I put an ice pack on the back of my head (base of skull) and that seemed to help a little. I do feel like the vaccine helped us recover faster even though it didn't prevent infection. Oh well!
I JUST found you and I really enjoyed your podcast. So many of us have recently dealt with Covid -- glad you are on the mend. I am SO inspired by your summer tees. I really thought that the gray one between you was Gum Nut Tee -- a very similar sweater by Jane Balle.
Another great episode. It was so nice to watch this morning while knitting. I’m glad that you are both well and having a great summer. Jonna, the Salty Air tees are gorgeous. I do love the Camelia Fiber company Flax Fingering is just stunning; I’m currently shopping for yarn and patterns to take on vacation with me at the beginning of next year. I may have to have that shipped to me lol! My daughter and I both have long hair and I find our hair in my knitting all the time. Kim, your PSSO is going to be beautiful! Thanks for the idea of knitting both the front and back at the same time-so useful! I would love to hear what cast on method you used if and when you have time. Have a great weekend!
I may have bought the Camellia Fiber Co yarn as soon as the episode ended!!! I'll ask Kim about the CO. She generally uses the CO suggested in the pattern.
I just bought the Salty Air Tee pattern about 3 weeks ago, must that knitting vibe in the air. Even though it is winter here in Australia it is fun to see the summer patterns.
Love the music! All your sweaters you’re knitting are beautiful. I just ordered linen quill in black for a salty air tee. Working on a triangle shawl now also making a pink fizz sweater in flying fibers Yorkshire Medley yarn! I also read the book troublesome creek. It was a great story! So much wonderful chatter today. I am always inspired and just enjoy listening while I knit. Would also someday like to try Myak yarns 🧶
Ohhhh! I would love to see the black linen quill in person. I hope you enjoy making the Salty Air as much as I did! You're making the Half and Half Triangles Wrap? Which colors?
The pink sweater behind Kim is amazing. It matches your hair and looks like fun.
The logo is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!!!!!❤ I love it!
Thank you!

Oh, so funny!!!
I have no idea why I feel like I need to rush. It's definitely worth over-thinking LOL!
I also get my hair into all knitted and otherwise projects 😂
Thank you for using knit and cast as the past and present tenses. It makes me sooo happy!
You are so welcome! Haha!!
love the neckline on Kim's top and adore everything Jonna makes. xxxxx
Thank you!!

I love the 'Where the mountain meets the moon' book you have in the picture of your salty air tee! I loved that when I first read it :D
It was very sweet! I was hoping to read it with my grandchildren.

We loved hearing about your changing plans! Jonna has some things she needs to purge also...purchases made when she was a newbie knitter.
Glad you are better. Love Doc Martin. You ladies are so fun.
Thanks so much! I've watched some of the episodes several times!
Gramma Crop is perfection!! 😜
Thanks for sharing all the yarns, projects and inspiration. Love the last minute or so with the laughter and song.
Thank you! We need more of that!
Love that baby blanket pattern you've made up, Kim!
Kim, with your beautiful yarn you could make a Seaglass tee! It’s basically a “scrappy” sweater, but it would show how well your colours work together because of the way they all mix together.

@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna I love that pickle Color!!

Thank you. Comments like yours keep us going!
Glad you are over Covid. I love watching your podcasts from Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺
Yay, thank you!
We can do it!!
Kim didn't double the yarn, she just used one strand of fingering. I hope you don't have to frog!
Fun episode, love all the knits. Glad to hear everyone is feeling better.
xoxo, thanks K&R!!
Jonna - because you said you timed your Purl rows…..For Dingley Dell I am in the Purl rows after sleeve separation and I took 10 minutes on the Purl rows. SO interesting!! Mine took 20 minutes before joining in the round. Do I need a new technique OR more patience??? LOL Thank you for sharing.
Greetings from Australia! Thanks again for another inspiring episode. Jonna you have also inspired me to dust off my sewing machine again - the sewing bug is also starting to bite - along with the knitting bug! Sooo many projects lined up!!!

I really love you guys. I hope one day to come to Pick Up Every Stitch to meet y’all. You make my heart happy. Happy knitting!
Please do!
So happy to see you both again. Jonna I am sorry you had Covid but glad you didn’t suffer too badly for too long. Another great episode 💜
Hi Tessa! Thank you. All is well.
Love knitting with you both and hearing your stories from the last few weeks 💚
Merci beaucoup!
Thanks for a great knitting time. Glad you are both feeling well now!
I got inspiration from you for many future projects. And I loved the idea of knitting the front and the back at the same time.
Hello
I was so sorry to here about your husband, Kim. My daughter is almost 30 and has had epilepsy since she was a child. About 6 years ago her doctor implanted a Vagus Nerve Simulator. Glad to see you back and that everyone is doing well! Also glad you got the grammar sorted out about the past tense of knit and cast. 😉
I love that music so much. Thank you for a wonderful podcast. Of course, i have added three more projects to my Ravelry Queue. 😊
Sorry, not sorry!! I'm in the same boat!
Glad you have returned to recording. Happy to hear your health as returned and all is well especially the baby. Can’t believe your knitting establishment is where I purchased the yarnadelic.
Oh really? It's lovely yarn. What are you making?
Thank you for another joyful ,lovely podcast!
I so love the differences between Kim and Jonna. I love how Jonna analyzes things and I love how Kim just goes with the pattern. Love, love love!
Thank you, lol! It would be fun to play a game of, "who is most likely to...." I'll work on it! J
Thank you so much! Happy birthday!!
Thanks for the podcast and sharing your lovely projects and yarn!
Great fun watching you. 🇬🇧
Fantastic episode ladies. You’ve inspired me to add more projects to my queue. Love your choice of colors for your projects. Cheers!
Thanks so much!
Thank you! Definitely!
As always, love to knit while listening your stories 😁 Bonne journée les filles !!
Great to see yo both back and delighted your Covid experience wasn't too bad. Love all your finished projects and wips. I have the Laminarus cardigan by Carol Feller on my needles so can relate to Jonna's timing her purl rows, they take forever but I'm lovin it. liz
Just found you tonight!!! Fun podcast!! Great projects thanks for sharing!
Welcome!!
Oh wow 😮 I too knit my hair into my projects … and I have long dark hair ☺️ it is definitely a design element 😊 loved this episode ❤️❤️❤️ thanks for sharing your wonderful projects ❤️❤️❤️
So funny!! I knew I couldn't be the only one!!
What a treat to see your episode!
So many good makes… thanks for sharing
With the yarn you dyed, you should make a Seaglass Sweater! Would look stunning
I agree! Came here to say this!
I was already typing this hahaha yes, the sea glass sweater would be a great project for the yarn.
Perfect idea for that yarn. Its a very cute sweater.
Glad you’re both feeling better. I also bought some linen quill during the sale!
:) Kim
great to have you back, you've both had a "life"journey to return xxoo
Another fun Episode with gorgeous makes! Jonna, I just learned the alternate cable cast one with Caleb! I watched so many tutorials but his spoke to me! Have an amazing rest of August!!!!!
I am wondering if he took the summer off? I haven't seen a video from him lately. I love how succinct and informative they are. I hope he comes back soon!
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna I was wondering as well as I have not seen him on IG or here. I am going to drop him a note :-)
No need to apologize!! Life happens. Missed you but glad you are better!
I think your yarn would be amazing in a Paul Klee sweater, Kim!!!
Hi Jasmyne,
Thank you so much for the suggestion! I will definitely look into it. :) Kim
Welcome!! Glad you found us!
Hi, ladies! Great episode as always. Thank you very much for the shout out. I absolutely love Kim's Yume. It might even be my next project.
Great podcast!! Max The Knitter looks so tall 😀.
He is! Taller than I expected.
Exactly! I think we're all too hard on ourselves for sure. I guess if "should" is part of one's thinking, one should rethink!!
Silver threads among whatever I am knitting!
Haha, same!!
Thank you so much! (I'm finally joined in the round now on my DD, thankfully!)
I just had to comment, I love everything, you do, especially the outtakes....just saying, you guys inspire me!!!
Glad to hear that you are feeling better, I too thought I was gong to escape Covid. Not so. I got it first the end of May, and then tested positive AGAIN, the end of July, ( 8 weeks later. ) Still recuperating, the second time was worse than the first. Hope y'all stay well.
Oh my goodness!!! I am so sorry! I have to say, I am a little wary of round 2! I hope you feel better soon. xoxo
Sorry for my delayed response, but that is a great idea! I'll have to look into it. Thank you so much for the suggestion. :) Kim
Great episode. Enjoyed it a lot.
Loved every minute! You both are so funny. Plus you're very informative. I like how you give tips and explain how you might have changed a sleeve or hem, etc. Excellent information!
PS. I think I'm the only knitter that hasn't made a Ranunculus! And that Salty Air Tee has my name on it (I have six skeins of Linen Quill, 3 in Peony Pink and 3 in Rosewood Pink) 🤗
Take care, be well until we visit you on the next one. 💞👋🏻
You can do it! Depending on your size, you could still have enough to make the smaller size of the half and half triangles wrap?
Gramma Crop, genius!🤣
Great episode as always
Yes. I totally knit hair into my pattern, I guess it’s just par for the course with long hair.
I love “ Grandma Crop”!
I love the gray sweater behind you. Wow
It's the Tantan. All in the show notes!
Thank you, Sandra. I do post Ravelry tutorials on my Instagram if you follow me there? You can always email us if you have a specific question.
Jonna, I would love a tutorial, or link to one, for how you did your hair in this episode!
Lovely Knits as always!
Thank you. I watched this video!

Sodaltna is actually a small town on the Kenai Peninsula in Alaska. It is a darling down, on a beautiful peninsula on the Cooke Inlet. My daughter is there right now working at their hospital on a travel contract. She says it is beautiful.
Thank you for letting us know. It sounds lovely. Kim's yarn is so gorgeous, it's making me want another one!
:) Kim
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna No worries! Thanks for responding! I’ve heard you mention those before. I’ll check them out!
Oh well!
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna Thanks for the tip!
Jonna -don't miss out on reading 'Crawdads'. The film is lovely - really really good, but the book is even better.
Really?? I am desperate for a book!! Thanks, I'm going to just go for it.
I JUST found you and I really enjoyed your podcast. So many of us have recently dealt with Covid -- glad you are on the mend. I am SO inspired by your summer tees. I really thought that the gray one between you was Gum Nut Tee -- a very similar sweater by Jane Balle.
Welcome and thank you! The Gum Nut Tee is really similar to the Tantan, for sure. I just wish it would cool off just a little so I can wear them! xoxo
Jonna, don't worry, but that cough does hang around for awhile. Glad you are doing better.
Thank you. My husband is still coughing a lot.
I just bought the Salty Air Tee pattern about 3 weeks ago, must that knitting vibe in the air. Even though it is winter here in Australia it is fun to see the summer patterns.
Such a fun knit and jealous of the winter weather!
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna Not sure if you would think it is real winter weather, no snow down here and it rarely gets below freezing on the coast. 🥶
Thanks for another fun and informative episode :) Everything I knit has extra fiber content -- my hair and/or cat fur! ;)
Haha!!! So funny. I'm sure my Henry's fur has made it into my knitting!
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna colors for triangle wrap are twig brown and juniper green
