You guys are the perfect "watch and knit" podcast! I have had the Dingley Dell saved in my favorites on Ravelry for so long and maybe this is the push I need to finally cast it on. Congrats on your first KAL! I can't wait to hear about Kim's trip to France.
Yay! So glad you're joining us. We were going to film the France episode this week, but I caught a cold. I know people like us for keeping it real, but I draw the line at blowing my nose! Next week for sure!
Welcome back from your travels. I so enjoyed your podcast this rainy Sat morning in Northern VA. Love all you knots. Lots of future knitting inspiration ideas. Thanks for podcasting.
Hi Deepti! Thank you so much for watching! It's rainy and gloomy in NY today too. Usually I clean out my garden beds on Mother's Day weekend, but not today. Happy knitting! :) Kim
Congratulations on the collaboration!!! Isabelle Kraemer is the most amazing! And I love the Dingley Dell. I made it in all white and wear it all Spring, Summer, and Fall!!
Congratulations to you both on the collaboration! Though I’m not surprised. Together the two of you have a chemistry that is very appealing. I love knitting podcasts but I can’t watch a lot of them . I find your talk about your personal lives even interesting! You both have great taste and style. Keep it up and thank you
Hi Theresa, Thank you SO MUCH for your kind words! It means so much to hear feedback. We're still trying to figure this RUclips thing out, finding the balance between talking about knitting and talking about other things. Have a great weekend! :) K&J
You ladies are so inspiring! Jonna your wedding ranunculus is stunning! Kim loving your yume! I’m thinking I might give it a go for the kal. Looking forward to knitting with you! Happy Knitting!
Love to hear about all of your amazing stories. Your projects always come out beautiful. You ladies are going to go far on RUclips. Sending lots of love.
Hello Kim & Jonna! I'm viewing you from my living room in Toronto, Ontario. I just found your podcast last weekend and have enjoyed catching up on many of your videos. You are incredible knitters! I thoroughly love listening to you talk about all your projects and you have such a great chemistry together, true friendship! Jonna - Your wedding sweater (& full outfit) is gorgeous! You didn't look "homemade", you looked fabulous! Kim - I absolutely love your colour block sweater thank you talked about in a previous episode. Very inspiring! So happy to have found you! Definitely considering joining the KAL.
Hi Lisa! I’m reading your comment from Bordeaux, France. Flying home today. So happy that you found our channel and have enjoyed watching us chat about our love for knitting. But I’m wondering how you were able to watch Episode 6 since we haven’t released it yet. Haha! Not your fault at all, but I was so surprised that you found it. We’re obviously still figuring out how all of this technology works, so I must have the settings wrong. On the other hand, I’m excited and relieved that you like Episode 6!!! We’re always a little anxious before we release a video so it’s lovely to hear that you, the very first person to see it, likes it enough to comment and possibly join our first KAL! Thank you so much for your kind feedback! ❤️ Kim

Yes, I was surprised that I was viewing it as you referenced that it was supposed to come out on May 6, but I figured you just decided to release it early. I just went into the Episode Playlist and it was listed. Regardless, it is a great episode!
My trip was amazing, but sad to be so far away from them again. Realized my mistake with posting E6. Shouldn't add it to a playlist when "unlisted." But so happy you got to see it a week early!
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna I feel honoured that I was the first to view it! I've been catching up on the minisodes! I'm actually watching your Orkney video right now.
Hello Ladies, I love watching your podcasts, you have great chemistry and I can relate to you both in so many ways. This podcast Jonna talked about attending your family wedding in Texas, I just got back from attending my daughters amazing wedding in Florida. You both provide such interesting information, and it’s a pleasure to tune in. Thanks for what you do.
It is always fun to spend time "visiting" with you ladies. The projects are very inspirational and your friendship shines through. How fun to have such a good friend who shares your passion for knitting.
I love 💕 you ladies! I am so excited for you both! This KAL is going to be great, and many of us will be introduced to new yarns…yahh 🥳🥳🥳 I can’t wait!! Last KAL I did was the shawlography by Stephen West! Congratulations 🎉🎈
We're so glad you're joining! I still haven't finished my Shawlography. I have enjoyed the process though. I'm determined to finish a KAL with my name on it! LOL
I am soooo excited! What wonderful news! I’ve been wanting to knit with yak yarn for some time. Years ago when I saw it at Rhinebeck there were only very neutral colors. I can’t wait to join the KAL. Will be purchasing my yarn and pattern any minute now. Looks like a lot of fun. I’ve done one knit along in the past with Knit Collage and that was a fun experience. Thanks for the opportunity! You ladies are such fun. ❤️❤️
I agree: there are patterns I want to knit that I know I would never wear and patterns I don’t want to knit! I love lace, yet our lifestyle does not lend itself to dressing up and definitely not to wearing delicate lace. I would love to knit a lot of thick wool sweaters, yet I live in Virginia Beach, Va, where we have mild winters and lots of humidity; thus there is limited need for drawers full of thick wool sweaters. I love hand knit socks; yet, even though wool absorbs moisture, we don’t have as many days we can wear wool socks as I would like. I loved Jonna’s MOB outfit. How special to have sewn and knit the pieces for your MOB dress. I wish Kim a safe and enjoyable trip to France!
I knew there was someone out there who felt the same! I really have to imagine myself in the garment and not just CO the next beautiful sweater. At 56, I'm still figuring out what I like to wear! Glad you enjoyed the episode!
Kim, I am finishing my own Snowbell sweater in Sandnesgarn Line (powder rose) as I’m watching this! Also, my daughter and I visited Yarnia last Saturday during NJ Woolwalk and met Kathleen (who said you were a lovely person). I also bought that Zooey cotton/linen (burnt orange), but for the Sommerknus tee. Too many coincidences! Love watching you and Jonna. The wedding outfit was gorgeous, Jonna.
Hi Anne! Yay for the Snowbell Top! And such a coincidence that you went to Yarnia and purchased Zooey too. I'll have to look up the Sommerknus tee. I'm definitely into knitting summer garments right now. Thank you so much for watching! And yes, Jonna was so gorgeous in her Wedding Ranunculus and Silk Skirt! :) Kim
So excited to join the kal.. I already have the pattern in my queue! I’m in Sydney Australia, so I will knit it for the Summer to come… although to be honest we don’t have very cold or long winters… good on you for being brave and hosting your own KAL.. love you ladies!
I want to travel to the east coast & visit your fabulous yarn stores! Here in Southern California our yarn stores are only open for pick up!! Enjoying ALL your videos!!!! Keep up the fun, ladies!
We should do a knit along for Husband sweaters! I need to knit one too. I also thought of Maxim Cyr for tight collars. I think most people absolutely love the fit of his designs. Great episode. I thought your wedding outfit was gorgeous and definitely inspirational. All the best, Kimberly
Thank you for another fantastic podcast! Just love you two! Kim-I agree with you about “binding off in pattern”. I almost always do a knit bind off. I like the neat finished look.
You are international!! Love the yarn colors & congratulations on your first KAL!! So glad you're back & merchandise would be perfect. I can't wait o knit the Tulip Guernsey
This episode was terrific. My absolute favorite one to date. I’m planning my first trip to Pick Up Every Stitch sometime before the end of this month. I’m so hoping you will be there when I go!
Great podcast! Jonna, you looked beautiful at your son's wedding and your Ranunculus is gorgeous! Congratulations on your first KAL ... I love Isabell Kraemer's patterns.
Here I am at 1:50 am knitting and listening to your podcast about the KAL, already bought the pattern, yea, and you say my name. Almost dropped all my stitches. Lol. By the way, love your white hair. So flattering. I had picked out some yarn for my KAL, but may look at myak now. Hope your trip to see your grand babies was filled with joy.
Having a great time watching your videos, ladies! I love what you knit, and I love hearing about all the yarn shops you go to because I also live in the Hudson Valley, but didn’t know about all the shops you go to. Love your finished objects. You both inspire me to knit new things.
I always look forward to your latest podcast and rushed home from work today so I could watch it in full. The Yarnia Shop looks wonderful - I used to live in a neighboring town of Montclair (I am now in South Carolina) and wish I could go there. Enjoyed the wedding photos and sorry about your dress, Jonna, but it still looks beautiful. And your hair looks great, Kim!
I'm pretty sure my daughter at one point, said, "Mom has lost her marbles." Especially after my skirt was ruined! I was SO grateful it was fixable. I can laugh about it now, LOL
You are just lovely to watch. What a beautiful friendship you have connected through knitting! I have knitted the Yume sweater and love to wear it. I need to make a summer version of it :) The Tulip Gurnsey is on my queue in ravelry!! Love Isabelle Kraemer´s patterns. Just finished the Laia sweater :)
Thank you so much! Kim wore her Yume sweater today on our visit to The Observatory Shop in Hastings. I kept eyeing it! Such a pretty summer knit. The Tulip Guernsey looks so fun. I bought the pattern and just need to choose yarn.
Thank you dear Kim and Joanna for this video. It was great, as always♥ ☺ And Kim... thank you for speaking german (to me) It was so nice♥ and you did a good job!! So I really hope that I am able to visit New York again in the future. Meeting you two would make a perfekt vacation memory 🙂
Love you r videos I have only just recently found you and I am still going through your previous ones xx Jonna you looked absolutely stunning in your wedding outfit glad you had a good day xx Thanks ladies for your entertaining videos xx
So lovely to have you back, you both inspire me to knit. I so enjoy your stories and your info. I’ve been a knitter for many years but not for myself for a long time and you inspired me to make my first ranunculus and I’m sure it won’t be my last. I love it ❤keep up the good work.
Hi Lindsay! Thank you so much for watching! And we hope you enjoy making your first Ranunculus. Definitely tag us on social media so we can see your progress... :) K&J
Great episode, I'm thinking I need to knit a toy for my three year old grand daughter 💗 Thanks for the inspiration. Exciting news with the up coming knit along.
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna I agree I really like the bear as well as the rabbits, she would love either I’m sure. She’s loves to sit on my lap and watch me knit, I’m hoping to get her started in a year or two 🥳
Another fun filled episode. I love Jonna’s most recent Ranunculas. It looks so delicate but I can understand how making it would have been a product knit. I have only knit one so far but have plans for at least 2 more so far.
So wonderful to see you back!! Love all of your episodes. Watched them all from day 1. Looking forward to the KAL. I’m finishing a test knit and then my first Ranunculus sweater after. You two really keep me going!! 🧶
Hi Cindy! Thank you so much for being such a devoted "fan!" We still can't believe that anyone (other than family and friends) watches us. Haha! We're so happy your joining out KAL! I also have a project to finish before June 1, but I can't wait to CO my Dingley Dell! :) Kim
I love that Jonna came to Texas. I live about two hours from where the wedding was. One of these days I am going up there to the yarn shop she talked about in McKinney. Always excited when y'all out out a video!
Phew🤓Glad this KAL starts in June. I've been clearing my wips for 100 days, without any new cast ons! It ends on May 27th. Although I have been tempted to join Kal's and cast on something new, I haven't. Your Kal starts at a great time and I could definitely treat myself to that beautiful yarn! Staying strong!💪
What?? That's fabulous. I keep wanting to CO another...such a versatile sweater. I wear my black DK one all the time. Although, the singly-ply yarn is SO pilly. I'd like to make a nice, cozy worsted one.
Thank you for posting the photos and updates between episodes. Kim, I hope your trip to visit family in France was as great as it looked in the photos. You have a beautiful family. Joanna, the wedding Ranunculus is stunning! I am sorry you and your family ran into so many challenges but it looks like the wedding went off beautifully. I love the idea of the KAL. It might be a good time to indulge in some myak and to be held accountable for finishing. I don't participate in social media but the RUclips updates will keep me on track. I am going to have to knit a Snowball.
Hi Julia! It was so fun to post our updates last week, and we're happy you enjoyed them! My trip to France was perfect. I'm so blessed. And yes, Jonna's Wedding Ranunculus was definitely STUNNING! And it's a miracle that the wedding was so perfect considering the challenges they all faced that week. We hope you join our KAL! We would obviously love for you to knit the Dingley Dell along with us, but you can also choose a smaller project if you want: a tank top, a neckerchief (Jonna just knitted one!), etc. You don't have to knit an entire sweater or top. I'm hoping to start the KAL thread on our RUclips Community Tab! It seems like it might be a good alternative to Ravelry/Instagram/Facebook for those who don't use them. We'll see... Thank you for watching and commenting! :) Kim
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna I knit Tanis LaValle's Rock It Tee, which is a very similar look and which fits me perfectly so I am trying to knit new patterns to expand my skill set. I will try to use the community thread.
Hello From Toronto, ON Canada! I’ve binged all your posts and can officially say you two are my favourite knitting pod casters. I’m a new knitter and currently knitting my first sweater - Bibbe by Meghan Kelly (using Fibre Co Arranmore light yarn in Odhran). So excited for your kal…will consider joining (if I think I can follow the pattern). Keep up the engaging content…love how genuine you both are ❤️
Thank you and welcome!! Just looked up the Bibbe....super fun and cute! Looks like a great first sweater. I think the Ravelry group will be a great place to get help if you get stuck. I'm easily intimidated so I ask lots of questions!
My name in your Podcast 🙈🙃 I was totally surprised. Thank you. And thank you for this awesome podcast! You are so refreshing and inspiring and I love you laughing😀. Liebe Grüße aus Bayern, Vroni
Hi Vroni! Of course I had to mention you and Marion! And I hope my German wasn't too bad. I didn't want to "read" it, so of course I messed up the first time. Haha! I was so nervous. Thank you so much for watching! And even though we're doing our mYak KAL, I really want to join your Ranunculus KAL! I have yarn for 2 Ranunculus in my yarn closet right now. Can I handle 2 KALs at once when I've never done even one before? We'll see... :) Kim
I love your podcasts! Just ordered (at 4am here) myak medium to make forager, already have the pattern, very excited to knit this and thanks for the lovely discount x
Wonderful! I have a SSSS in mYak medium. While it is my most luxurious knit (I don't think I realized this until I was at the register, lol) it is so cozy and soft and looks as new as the day I finished it. Yay for the discount!!
A KAL...how exciting! I ordered my yarn before the podcast ended 😁. I just finished my first Isabel Kraemer a couple of days ago and knew that I wanted to knit another of her patterns 🥰
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna I ordered the yak/cotton in Sarasvati and Mithra, which are a pink and orange. I ordered directly from Myak, and was pleasantly surprised at the shipping to me in Canada 🇨🇦 😊
Found you a week or so ago - you are so enjoyable 😉 and I have been binge watching the shows ever since - some I have watched twice! I love your topics - what's not to live about knitting? - but I will be looking forward to the weeks and months ahead! Thank you 😊
Hi ladies! Yes Kim, I did finished my first ever colorwork sweater! When I run into a knitting problem, I message every knitting friend online and see if anyone can help me decipher what to do next because I don’t have any friends that knit. Luckily you were on Instagram when I needed help! Thank you for taking the time to respond immediately! Wow a KAL, sounds awesome. Now that I’ve actually knitted a human sweater and not only dog sweaters, I gain some confidence to join. Thanks for a lovely podcast and sharing! ❤️❤️
I just made a kerchief with one skein to try it out (on bamboo) and loved it. It's so soft and has such a beautiful drape. I love knowing that I won't have an pilling problems. It is definitely a luxury yarn. I hope you enjoy it!
Right?? Why do I always want a new interpretation of this sweater? Now, I'm thinking a woolly one for winter. That might have something to do with the weather here in NY today.
Johanna you look spectacular in the wedding outfit! I just learned of Yarnia yesterday from another new to me podcast! I plan to visit when I'm back in NJ. Never knew they're were so many cool yarn shops in my state! Kim your sweater fits you so beautifully
Great job as always ladies! Let's do a fall kal to make our husbands sweaters for the holidays! I want to make the letho in Myak. Also more chart tips- use highlighter tape to keep track of your rows, blow the chart up on your printer and use a makers board to hold your chart vertical or Knit companion if you prefer tech tracking of the charts.
It's always a yay! when I see a new video of yours come out! I love your friendly rapport and laughs!
Yay, thank you!

I love all the chat and life updates. Thank you both.
Jonna, you are so positive about everything! I would have totally lost it if I'd had to gone through everything you did!
You're so welcome! We would love to meet you. Please let us know when you're visiting! K&J
Love watching the two of you and hearing about yarn shops that I can put on my list to check out for when I go visit my folks in the area!!
Flower crochet is so beautiful, I'm still trying to learn!! Loved all your holiday pics xx
Thank you! 😊
New to your podcast and you inspired me to knit the rannanculus. Knitting my first one now!
YES!!! It's a magical sweater. I always need a new one!
Good to see you two.
Love you r videos I have only just recently found you and I am still going through your previous ones xx Jonna you looked absolutely stunning in your wedding outfit glad you had a good day xx Thanks ladies for your entertaining videos xx
Thank you!
So nice to see you both, sending lots of love. Your summer top is beautiful, I like to make one for my granddaughter.🧶❤️🌹
Thank you!
I am trying to finish my two WIPs before casting on the adorable Tsutsu bear. Knitted toys are such a precious gift.
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna I agree I really like the bear as well as the rabbits, she would love either I’m sure. She’s loves to sit on my lap and watch me knit, I’m hoping to get her started in a year or two 🥳
Love your podcast! So relaxing and so many tid bits that’s go into my toolkit as well! Thanks for taking the time to share with us all. ❤️👏🏻
You are so welcome!
Hello loved the knitting and family photos
This is so exciting I will be calling the shop this week!
Yay!!! ❤️
So glad to see you back. You two have addicted me to the Ranunculus and am knitting on my second one!
Always so nice to spend time with you two lovelies!
Love your podcast. It is like visiting with friends.
Thanks for another jam packed show. Love all the knits!
Another fun filled episode. I love Jonna’s most recent Ranunculas. It looks so delicate but I can understand how making it would have been a product knit. I have only knit one so far but have plans for at least 2 more so far.
Thank you! I don't think one can have too many ranunculi! I just googled plural of ranunculus and discovered that the word means, "little frog".
Lovely outfits. Beautiful as usual.
Oooooh! It's SUCH a great shop...can't wait to go back there!
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna Maybe the next visit here you can do a meet and greet at the store. I would absolutely drive two hours for that.
Wow!! That's quite a FEAT! Happy you can join us!
Because of you two, I made my first Ranunculus in less than a week and I’m on my second, no end in sight! Thanks.
You 2 are fun to watch!
:) Kim
So enjoy your podcast....thanks for keeping it real.
Thank you! (we have to cut out the really real parts sometimes, lol)
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna 😂understand......
Love watching both of you. From New Zealand.
Welcome!!
Thanks for the inspiration!
Commenting before your podcast is over to enter in for the calendar! 😍
Yay! You made it! Good luck...
Love catching up with you and all your knits. I always look forward to a Friday. 🥰
A KAL...how exciting! I ordered my yarn before the podcast ended 😁. I just finished my first Isabel Kraemer a couple of days ago and knew that I wanted to knit another of her patterns 🥰
Awesome! What colors did you choose? There are a lot of very nice interpretations on Ravelry.
Thank you 😊
Welcome!!!
Hi May! So happy I was able to help! :) Kim
I get all excited when I see yall start posting on IG about the next podcast coming up. I truly enjoy watching you lovely ladies
Thank you so much!!
So excited about the KAL. I heard about the yarn featured on fruity knits. Looking forward to trying out this yarn and getting to knit with you both!
I just made a kerchief with one skein to try it out (on bamboo) and loved it. It's so soft and has such a beautiful drape. I love knowing that I won't have an pilling problems. It is definitely a luxury yarn. I hope you enjoy it!
Congratulations ladies for your collaboration! I’m off to search for a pattern. 🥰
Wonderful! So glad you are joining us!
You ladies are always so much fun to watch! There’s just something about the Ranunculus pattern that makes it addicting, I’m on my second one now!
Thank you so much! Yes, we are very fortunate to have so many choices in this area.
So glad to see you both back!! I missed watching. Everything is so beautiful
I will be at the store this weekend to pickup my yarn. I am doing a myak mini triangle scarf, and is enjoying it very much.
I love that! I made a little neckerchief out of one skein of the baby yak | silk. Such a useful accessory!
I am so glad I started watching you girls! I have so much fun watching!
Yay! Thank you!
Great ideas!!! I'll mention the husband KAL! I would definitely enjoy the camaraderie.
Great episode! I knitted on a sock while watching you.
