    So true 😂
We ending up carrying our groceries back to the car in our hands since we forgot again the shopping bag when we went diving.

Any suggestions for cell phone coverage on the island for an American traveling to Bonaire? Can you purchase SIM cards at the airport per chance?

I’m not very well versed on local cell phone options on Bonaire. What do we do? Liz and I have TravelPass on our Verizon plan. It’s $10 per 24 hr period and only activates when/if you use your phone/cell data internationally, and only for said 24 hr period. Just because you use it one day, doesn’t mean you’re automatically charged when the 24 hrs is up (unless you use it again of course). When activated it acts as if you’re at home in regards to data/texts/call minutes etc.. We honestly try our best to stick to using WiFi for iOS texts and WhatsApp/Vyber for phone calls at our rental home/hotel. WhatsApp is widely used by the local residents and businesses. We don’t carry our phones with us while out diving, so this has always worked well. I believe there are threads on TripAdvisor that may provide additional info regarding local options (SIM cards, rental phones etc..). Have a great trip!
