Thanks for checking it out Pete! :)
These weekly new product shows are always anticipated and enjoyed, Pete. Listened to some of the tracks you mentioned. Enjoyable but will require more listening here to see where it fits in play rotation. Thanks again.
Excellent album! last in a long list of only strong albums by these guys. Thanks! 🍺🤘
My copy should be arriving soon. I'm really looking forward to it based on the videos.
Great vid, Pete.
Got it today. Excellent album! Very pleased.
Strange that I've never heard of these guys before - could be right up my tree.
This band has become one of my favorite prog metal acts, these guys are great!
Great band. Had the chance to see them years ago opening for Iced Earth(Ripper Owens era).
😊 Evergrey never Disappoints, and They just keep putting out quality music and songs and Of course Tom is on top of his game!!
'Glorious Collision' is the exception...
@@davidaraujo927 Not my fave
@@robmlisanti definitely the worst.
I have been waiting for this one, thanks Pete! Evergrey sure has risen as one of my favorite "newer" bands.
Im waiting patiently on your Ayreon/Arjen Lucassen album ranking show as well!
As some other bands I would highly recommend you check out if you have not already, Toehider is a great progressive band, they do a lot of stuff, its hard to categorise them, I would call Toehider the prog metal Queen. They did a 12 EPs in 12 months thing, amazing results. And have 4 other albums. "I like it!" and "Good" are amazing top to bottom, great listens.
Secondly, i cannot stress enough how much I love The Night Flight Orchestra ever since I found them. Amazing AOR/hard rock with disco sprinkled throughout, all 6 of their albums are good and make you dance, but Amber Galactic is in my opinion the best.
Lastly, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. No words. At the core, psychedelic rock, pure creativeness, complex albums and music, and never saying in one genre. They do it all. From trash to jazz to prog and some punky stuff, and in 10 years 20 albums, with 5 albums in 2017, they are very distinct, just need to get behind the weird name.
Hope you check out and enjoy these. And again, cheers for the review!
yes! an Ayreon / Star One / Lucassen ranking with Steven Reid.
Sweden and Greece just killing it these days.
Already looking forward to Sunday you Butch and Lynne 💯🤟
Thanks Pete. Just became a fan
Thx. PETE: more homework 👍💯
Great review Pete its an awesome album 👌.
Great album, The singer moves in the direction of Peter Gabriël. Outstanding singer and great band. Good cd
To be honest, I have to say that I liked The Atlantic even more. But this album is still very good and will not disappoint any metal fan. Greetings from Germany!
Pete, you gotta check out James LaBrie’s new solo album!
I love this band!!!!
Sounds like something from Eurovision, really does.
Sounds great on vinyl. Strange, the setting on the turntable must be on 45!
A guy on FB said he found Evergrey tedious wtf lol.
I got the box ltd edition.
Another good album from this band though I prefer Escape Of The Phoenix just a bit more.
Try using half of the sugar in the recipe, if not less.
Remember Pete, it's not "proggy in spots", but "prog-like" LOL.
Just bought the CD, good stuff but not super great so far.
