Jay, I disagree with you on the articulated screen and grip. That would make it something else. I've found the RX1 handle perfectly. The only thing I would fix is the focusing error issue.
You may want to get a Gariz pro case made for the RX1... I bought the NEX-6 version it addresses your concern about not having enough 'grip' on the camera. Steve Huff did a review of the Gariz case and loved it. Really good really, man!
Sure, sorry about that as I meant to add the info to those photos and totally forgot ;) f/8 and f/10 for 8 and 10 seconds were the settings used for those photos. Manual Mode, ISO 100, Tri-pod
Hello, It's a Wordpress website and I purchased atemplate a long time ago from this company: industrialthemes - Just google it. I highly recommend purchasing a quality template, as the free ones are loaded with bugs and hinder future growth. However, I would like to upgrade now, and it's just to involved to be honest and I can't take the chance of losing anything. The Databases become huge with wordpress and a bit technical on the backend if you have issues or delete something.
I know this is an old video but I recently purchased a Sony RX1 for $700 and this was very helpful! Thank you!
You're very welcome Eddie :) It's an awesome piece of gear you got for $700 let me tell ya 👊
Same here…. Just purchased a mint RX1R for $900 with a 1 year warranty…
Thanks for your effort, I just bought RX1R ii but never use Sony before. Your VDO was helpful 😊
An excellent review of the RX! - I have owned my RX1 for almost six years, and this review informed me substantially.,
Thanks Bruce for the comments and suggestions!

No worries ;)
Sorry, low light was the only option I had the day I recorded. The compression of iMovie also seems to destroy the blacks big time.
Does this camera have a clean HDMI output?
I purchased the eye viewfinder attachment. Does it matter if I keep it on at all times? Or should I only have it on when used...? Thanks.
It should drop in price I would think, thanks for the comments!

Although the review was good the video quality is kind of screwed up . The DOF and blacks are totally distracting me from the review.....
use a half case
