I just went to the Tribute concert for Leslie in Nashville this evening. It was a truly spiritual night and one of the best times of my life. Leslie would be so tickled to know so many musicians , performers and fans from so many different genres together. Such was the magical spirit of Leslie Jordan. He truly had love for all walks of life and was loved in return by so many people.
This is one of the most beautiful human beings that I ever had the joy of getting to watch on television to see him singing, and to see his joy and his bouncing around and how happy he always was and it just grieves me terribly that he’s not here on this earth to bless the universe with his beautiful attitude and his happiness for lifethank you Leslie Jordan for everything that you gave us. We love you dearly and we miss you even more.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
5 generations of us family sing old gospel songs at our family reunions but we don't sing this one cause we can't handle the sadness of it. My Mom's been gone for 32 yrs & this song still tears me up.

I love this song, I find it very comforting and hopeful. you know here on earth time has such a funny way of playing with our minds. but I want you to know it's just a blink and then we will all be together never to grieve again. the moment your momma left you here she'd already been with the Lord a million years. isn't that crazy? it blows my mind. but time is inconsequential there because it's forever. for whatever reason when I think about heaven I think in increments of 10 thousand years. I will sit down and play piano for 10 thousand years. go flying for 10 thousand years. then eat 10 thousand years worth of chocolate. 10 thousand years for choir. there will be time to catch up with your mom when you get there even if you're the last person to get there so don't be in a hurry. try to find your joy while you're with us, be thankful, keep your memories alive, and be about the Father's business. what a day that will be when the circle will be complete with everyone accounted for. It's the key to life that makes the sweetest sounding music and the Opry does that 100%. It's the greatest stage on earth without a doubt.
This song leaves me speechless. I can’t stop playing it and watching the video. They all have tremendous voices and the instrumental parts of this song are what I call sounds of Heaven.
My ex will love this. I miss seeing that smile and that face lit up like a Christmas Tree whenever he would sing or do one of his short videos. This made me smile too……
I'm so glad Leslie got to sing amongst some of the greatest before his unfortunate death. He clearly had a blast doing it. What a sweet person Leslie was. Sorely missed by so many.
