- There are lots of great rides at Universal Orlando - and what if we told you you could SKIP the lines! You can with Universal Express Pass, but it’ll cost you. Molly’s taking on Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure to see how many rides you can really ride in a day with Express Pass, and if it’s worth the hefty price tag.

I would pay so much to spend a day at Disney World or Universal Studios with Molly!!
I don’t think I could keep up with her!
@@mermaid2800 so true!!!
That would be an amazing fund raiser for an organization in the Orlando area
Same
Enjoy all Molly’s videos.
What I think would have made this video more useful/accurate would have been if another AllEars staff members attempted to ride all the same rides on the same day without the express pass and if it was a busier park day.
That’s a really good idea!
From what I’ve read/seen with other people who have done this type of experiment, the longest you’ll wait is half the standby time. So if standby is 1 hr, the longest you wait is 30 min, but usually much shorter. Single rider is harder to determine, but usually comparable to Express, maybe a little longer.
26:50 😂 my wife and I went last January and we were confused how to ride the Hogwarts express so we approached the kings cross staff and they were like no idea what you’re talking about the ability to stay in character was 10/10 really added to the experience luckily a kind local Florida family helped us find the way 😂
please do more universal studios tours, tip and tricks!! i went to your channel playlists and there was no universal playlist. i love your presentation style and i haven't been able to find a universal focused channel that's as entertaining and helpful as this channel ❤️❤️❤️
I’m glad you mentioned the resort perk avenue. I wouldn’t buy the express pass otherwise. We stayed at the Royal Pacific and had a fabulous time walking or boating to the parks.
I would definitely prefer this method as well.
I loved the Donkey bit! "If u subscribe to... Something something something, you'll get to see me!" Thanks for the comedy Molly 😂😂
This was awesome, Molly! I would love to see some Universal resort hotel tours in the future. My fam and I have stayed at the Hard Rock several times and LOVE IT, but I'm not super familiar with the others. Could be cool!
Yes! I've been trying to decide on a universal hotel and would love Molly's opinion!
We stayed at Cabana Bay Beach. That was pretty nice
@@lolalotta2687 Cabana Bay doesn't come with the free express pass though, there are only 3 hotels I believe that have that. Hard Rock is one of em! :)
@@AwkwardTurtle10 oh I know that but when we went most of the wait times were inaccurate so we really didn’t need express pass. We would’ve stayed at Hard Rock but it was too expensive for us. But yes i know it doesn’t
@@lolalotta2687 Ohh yeah that's actually really smart to save some money! Cabana Bay is probably one of the best hotels that don't come with an express pass, I'd love to stay there once :)
You always have great videos. Love this information. I've been researching Universal so this video is perfect. You answered so many of my questions.
Molly, you brighten my day every time I see a new video of yours! Thank you 😊💓💖
Heading to Universal this Tuesday. Got my express pass ready. Thanks for the preview.
I’m so glad you did this video! We decided to do 1 day at Universal during our next Disney trip (in 3weeks) and got the free express pass! I’m so excited.
Our family of 5 was there on Dec. 20 and it would have been $1,000 for all of us to have the express pass. The hotel combo is the only way I would even consider it for our family.
I wouldnt be without the express pass in studios. I always do the hotel pass combo as I travel from England and dont go as often. 🇬🇧
Totally worth it!
this is so helpful!! the advice about the queue details
Thank you. I didn’t know those hotels offered that. Great to know 🙌
Last time i was in Florida I booked one night at a hotel so we had 2 days of express pass and early park admission. It was totally worth it!!
I just love it so much when you are in the harry potter world, I can see your inner child coming out, and it's what happens to me every time I'm there too since Harry Potter was my childhood. So adorable when you asked where platform 9 3/4 was, LOVED THAT. Lol
Molly- my family Loves watching your videos! Very informative and fun to watch - we always do Disney but your video makes me think about going to Universal.
I go every year during spring break and only have one day for both parks so I do express every time. Highly recommend! Totally worth the money!
This is why we call you the AMAZING Molly!! A SPECTACULAR FAST PASS video! I agree with Molly stay at a Universal resort to get the pass FREE! This was FUN!I Love all the descriptions of each ride VERY HELPFUL!! Well Done as usual!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🥰🤗💕GO MOLLY!
I usually go to universal studios and island of adventure in October so usually pretty busy. I like having the option of getting express pass. Thanks for the video so many rides.
Great advice! We have done exactly what you said staying at one of their resorts! So worth it, especially when you are traveling in from far away. 😊👍
yes definitely! i travel from the UK and it’s so worth it to stay at one of their on site resorts, we stay at the royal pacific everytime!
@@ailsaliddle6796 Same here! Love that place!!
@@crystalgoeden1868 yes!! it’s literally the best hotel in orlando!
I save my money by going in January! 😁
But seriously, the cold weather scares away the really big crowds so all of the parks are accessible, even the big rides like Escape from Gringotts or the rides in Jurassic Park on Islands of Adventure.
I TOTALLY agree with you Molly about the horcrux part of the Gringots ride. I felt the same way the first time I rode it.
I went in October and didn't have an express pass and was only able to ride the harry potter rides once each. I went again in December and added the express pass unlimited price into my budget and it was 100% worth it especially for the hogwarts express. As a novice with only two trips to universal, I would reccoemd it if you're there during heavy crowds. I mean its definitely not necessary but it makes things so much better and your feet don't ache so much at the end of the day.
ET is my Ursula. 😫
As someone who hasn't been to Universal since they were a little kid, I had no clue what Molly meant about Fast and Furious being ridiculous. I just went and watched a POV and now I get it....it's ridiculous.
It was nice to see you in Seuss Landing! That place is so cute!
I've always been a Molly fan, even more so that she realizes the greatness that is House Slytherin.
Thanks for sharing the magic!
It’s also kind of cool you get to keep your express pass card for a souvenir.
Loved the train dancing.... 😀👍🤠
I hate motion sickness so much. I get it so bad at universal every time I go sadly but strangely forbidden journey thankfully never gets me sick. Also no issues on flight of passage luckily but thank you so much for mentioning that possibility in this video. :)
thank you Molly and all ears
I loved Express Pass, it was great though depending on when you go you might not need it. If you go during slow times you don't have to wait too long so I would recommend not getting it if you go in mid-January and other slow times and she is correct to get on Hagrid's ride first because it fills up quickly and the lines. During a slow period you might wait 10 to 15 minutes for rides, Hagrid was still 45-50 minute wait.
Your videos have been a lot of help. making plans for june
Love you Molly! 😊❤️
I visit Florida every 2 years. Last year I didn't wait in a single queue in any Disney, Universal or SeaWorld park...including flight of passage. I didn't stay onsite but done humongous amounts of research to ensure we knew every trick in the book!
No MIB?! 🤯
Great video, as always!!
Staying at an Universal Hotel with express passes is totally worth it! We stayed at Hard Rock and were able to walk to the parks. Rides with express pass were walk ons! We could ride the same ride multiple times and we were able to do both parks in one day. With our second day, we could go back and do our favorites then head back to Disney World. Highly recommend staying at an Universal Resort like Hard Rock and taking advantage of that "free" express pass!
Your hair actually looked AMAZING right after Hulk, rockstar!
Im super early! Yay! I got this one time and I think it was definetly worth it!
I wish you were able to record on the actual rides like you do in Disney. It would be cool to see how some of the rides play out. I haven't been to universal since I was about 10 years old.
In the past, the express line on forbidden journey went the exact same path as the main queue but I think 4 years ago (ish) they switched it to the castle tour path and just filter out the castle tour folks where they scanned the pass. (Castle Tour meaning they let you walk through the castle even if you don't want to ride.)
Premier resorts run $500 a day minimum plus $28 to park a car. You can get a pretty nice room in another Universal hotel for around $200, sometimes less, and still get in an hour early. Take the savings and buy an extra day in the parks. Just another option.
I was just researching if the express pass was worth it 🤩🙋🏻♀️👏🏻👏🏻
Captain EO will be forever missed it was the first 'ride' I ever rode in disney
Thanks for no spoilers!
Yo great video
Express pass is DEFINITELY the way to go. We go 1-2x a year(from Atl) and only stay at Portofino. We feel that we get a better value for our money staying at Universal and getting the fast pass than staying at Disney. We were there January 13-18 was able to get on Hagrid's within 30min! All 3 morning with early entrance @7am rode everything we wanted by 11am and back to enjoy the pools or disney springs. Went back around 4lm and still was able to re ride. We also pay for a VIP tour with Disney and that allows us to do everything we want multiple times if we want at all 4 parks.
During normal times the current Gringotts express queue is single rider and the express queue follows the regular line through the entire queue.
Won't ever go to Universal without it. Totally worth every penny in my opinion.
Not just express pass but the Platinum annual pass. I looked at doing 3 days with express and for a few hundred more realized I could get the Platinum Annual Pass. We went with this (2017-2018) and it was fantastic! It's only express after 4pm BUT we got free valet parking, so up an escalator and one slidewalk and you were at Citywalk. 20% off all food and merchandise. Over Christmas they sent us an offer for Blue Man Group for $30 a ticket. If you are a Harry Potter fan, that's the way to go. A 3 day trip to Universal turned into 5 days followed by a Christmas visit and a follow up the following summer!
We always stay in the Universal hotels so that we get the Fastpass its cheaper than just buying the pass, also the parks are so close its only a 5 minute stroll back to the hotel. We usually get a 2 night stay.
Would you say that the fast and the furious ride is .... LUDACRIS?!?
It's called fast and furious
@@taylaherve1996 I’m pretty sure the first movie is called The Fast and The Furious.
@@aaleyah3082 yeah the first one is but the ride isn't called that
This comment totally went over y’all’s heads! 🤦🏽♀️
@@taylaherve1996 who cares
I think I would do the hotel stay, but I am a little wary just because of all the simulator rides and they make me nauseous, but great info and video
I think $150 a night more to not wait in line at all on a non-busy day is totally worth it. I really hate lines. I hate lines way more than I love saving a few hundred dollars.
So excited for the sometime in the future where I’ll get to take a #founderselfie!
The last time I rode Gringotts, I thought the same thing!!! Great minds think alike lol!!
Great vid
Thank you for the video. I think you answered my question near the end. We're coming Feb 26 which I've read is a slow time of year, but we only have 1 day. Unfortunately this is an 8 hour day so Express Pass will probably benefit us. Should we purchase in advance or wait until we see the crowd level? And, can you purchase Express Pass at various locations through out the day. Thank you.
So glad you got that off your chest
I love the ET ride smell!!!!!
She is so loverly
My parents looked into getting express pass when we went in November but it is SO expensive. It’s crazy. And most of the time
the lines aren’t as long as is posted
Great video! I'm going to stay in the hard rock hotel. Do you know if I will get a pass like the one you had? Would I have to pick it up at the front desk?
Could you on either a Universal Orlando or Walt Disney World video on spicy food? Go through all of the options for people who are allergic to spicy food. What you would suggest to those who absolutely can't handle spicy foods?
NOTHING MAKES ME AS SICK AS JIMMY FALLON!
I paid roughly $80 for a fast pass at Knotts in LA during a peak day (it was extremely busy! I think the queue for Ghost Rider was nearly 2 hours) but, yeah... it was worth it... for me. Keep in mind, I get to go to Knotts once per year, if I'm lucky.
Love these videos. I have a question. If you buy the ticket for 2 parks in 1 day and you buy the universal express pass and not the unlimited will you have to wait in the regular line for the Hogwarts express train to get back to the park where you car is near or do they share the same parking lot?
Lol, Doc quickly pondering whether he's supposed to know about 2020 or not
You are so precious! You make me smile!
If you have the express pass that is not unlimited can you use it on the train coming and going so you see both shows?
Can you use the Universal Dining Plan at Volcano Bay?
What brand and model are your sunglasses?
I would like to see this on a busier day. And to make it more realistic, maybe incorporate some shows. I know Horror and Make up and animal actors have express pass (or did pre-pandemic). Also... can i get a Bourne update? I never hear anything about it. Is it open? Closed? Not worth the time? You’ve done it once you’ve seen all you need to know? Can you use express pass for Bourne?
Where do you get fast pass ticket from
What was the difference in the express line vs the regular line, like you say in the video its listed at 30 min wait for the regular queue, but you dont mention how long you waited in the express queue, were they just walk right on to the ride lines?
Is the express pass worth it? First time going to universal.
How do you order mobile if ur vegan with allergies, and need modifications?
To get a better idea if it's worth the extra money would have liked Morgan to go on the same rides without the pass, including lunch at Crusty Burger and compare how many more rides Molly went on.
I don't know if any of you all at allears will ever see this, but I am going to hope you do. Would you ever consider doing a video accompanied by someone who has mobility issues and uses a scooter. I can walk short distances and climb a few steps, I just can't stand for any length of time. I would love to know how I would be able to use the rides at both Universal and Disney.
you've never watched the simpsons??? i watched that show while eating dinner so much
that whole krusty place looks insane!
This is why I think Disney is making a big mistake taking away magical express. I stay at Disney hotels for convenience and just take a cab to Universal right now but without the magical express I am going to need to need cab rides to and from the airport. Why not stay at a Universal hotel for cheaper and get express passes and take a cab to Disney the days I want to go.there
Best and worst thing I did at Universal Hollywood: my bestvfribd and were that at a super low crowd day and rode forbidden journey three times in a row, we didn't even need to leave and come back in, we just could keep sitting. My stomach was never that upset before in my life 😂
That’s amazing lol
If it weren't for the Pandemic you could potentially get on most of the big attractions you want.
My girlfriend and I did a one day tour of the parks on a weekday and the limiting factor ended up being the hours (shortened because of the Pandemic) and very cold & windy weather shutting down some attractions. But that pass was still well worth it.
I want to know if the have some one who speaks Spanish in the hotel? In Universal's resort
I'LL SKIP ANY LONG LINE!
It can be $279+ in the busy months
I just went 2 weeks ago & had the express pass as I stayed at Royal Pacific. I actually ran into Molly in Diagon Alley the day she was making this video! I thought the express pass was worth it for sure, however on some rides I felt I waited longer than I should have. Two of those being the simpsons and the mummy. Both times I waited over 20 mins even with express!
Express passes cost $308 per person for the day we are going!! it's crazy!
My little boy just loves Molly! When we went on the Spider-Man ride it really scared him so when he saw Molly heading to Spider-Man he ran to the tv and said no no Molly not Spider-Man he was so worried she was going to get scared like he did
The Simpsons ride was definitely a one and done for me. It did make me slightly nauseous but the whiplash was worse.
I wish you saved this video for a busier day to get more of a realistic experience.. most people get the express passes on the busy days which would increase wait times considerably.
20:43 WHAT!?! How is that possible
We would pay for Express Pass at Universal and Fast Pass at Disney but, after trying for weeks without success for the vaccine on Publix, Lee County, Charlotte County and Collier County, we would happily pay for the vaccine
I'd pay an extra $50 on the already expensive ticket. My husband gets terrible back pain from standing stationary. Walking is easier than standing for him.
Can those of us who are bigger fit on Hagrid's? I don't fit in Gringott's.
Odd - I wonder if the queue was rerouted because of social distancing or a permanent move. When were were there pre-COVID you walked all the past all the tellers on the right and to the main goblin and to his right to exit the bank main hall.
