Jesus would want this book shares, i have personally purchased and given away dozens of copies to friends and family, and i am waiting for the day they will open their eyes to this true book of love, peace!~!!!
The Urantia book changed my life 50 years ago...it's not a cult or a religion, more of an intuitive revelation. I love the history and teachings of Jesus...in the circumscribed language of the realm...live and let live
It has been 30 years being a student of the UB. It is amazing that this level of explanation of universe reality is even here. I realize that truth seekers often have a settled position of religious adoption and such is very personal to each of us. Being also a student of the Bible and of other religious theologies, all of which describes a take on God's relation to our world, us, and our history. From experience, I encourage taking a look at the UB and if time permits, a comprehensive study of the UB for a universal description of all aspects of the reality and the dynamics of the Deity/human relationship. The UB informs us of actual reality at a level beyond the growing development of man's positional viewpoint. Our history, of Urantia, is one of ever increasing understanding, not one particular fixated completion of absolute knowledge, even the UB admits that in the future further revelation will enhance our understandings at more elevated and evolved times. For now, it is a gift to us regardless of its mysterious origins and in the final analysis, one must conclude for themselves where they stand on its authenticity and truth, but one must give it a fair chance, its not a quick and easy read, it takes the study of all of it to truly appreciate its value.

Agree! The book was an international bestseller, but it's somehow still esoteric. No news coverage, no public buzz. The book indeed finds you I guess, in the right timing.
The way this book conceptualizes God is interesting. It doesn't tell me my preconceptions were completely false. It just gently adjusts my conceptions of things, and makes them more clear. This book is a thought adjuster in its own right.
Thanks for you reply Rosalie Parker. Whatever one's attitude towards the UB, it's paramount teachings center around the highest goodwill towards others and respecting their value as human beings. Hi. This a definitely a very interesting book, and a must read for, reader's that love big contents in a book, and are open minded to different beliefs, I personally found something in their for me. I would say go with your intuition.If the book figurative speaking says buy me, then it would be wise to purchase the book. I'd say it's quite advanced and definitely for avid reader's, as theirs lots of content. God bless all. :0)

I am in the urantia book, jesus seventh year, in 1983 a friends home was a pyramid and he invited me to sleep in the upper third, I traveled back in time to a previous life, I saw jesus on the cross, then myself being drawn and quartered, I reacted to the seen, and on the way back I saw a boy playing on the roof and knew this boy was jesus and I was ahead of a sand storm, my friend asked me a few days later where did all the sand come from, I said I didnot know because I did not remember. in 1997 I read the urantia book after having it since 1988, I was in awe

there are many books in the world. it has it's own what I would call a blend of writers who tend to hang with a reasonably close style that is sorta unique as books go. the topics are more inclusive of aspects of human endeavours than exclusive. I recall there being basically topics to encourage more reading in many subjects, I especially liked definitions of personal teleportation devices that allowed beings to travel along specific "Circuits" at multiples the speed of light, that looked somewhat like a cocoon wrapped around an individual when they arrived, which was the books attempt to describe how happenchance observers would depict the arriving of angels with Wings of light spectrum "wrapped" like wings of a bird. the concepts are strung together to give readers a new way of considering many aspects of life around them. It has, something for everyone , type deal , a perusal will surely find something of interest. so if you like reading...you will likely feel fortunate it came across your path in life.

It’s really long. I bought it at a second hand store many years ago, but gave it away to another bookstore because at that time because it was so heavy I couldn’t understand it. I’ve since downloaded it from the internet but wish I still had the physical book since I live books so much!
A friend gave me the book a few years ago after a discussion involving my thirst for knowledge beyond what we typically learn during our brief life spans. I desire real answers to questions posed by one that doesn't accept the skewed and narrow minded view of life and the universe that is presented to us in education and religion. Sadly, the book was misplaced during a moving process before I was able to delve into the depths of this rather daunting tome. On a whim, I searched on RUclips and here I am. Now, before I take the time to start seriously researching this subject, I would like a couple questions answered. Is the Urantia Book someone's personal beliefs and ideas that were steadily adopted by others through the decades, perhaps evolving into a way of life or some kind of new age movement? Also, if this book really is a genuine gateway for those seeking truth, "enlightenment" and knowledge "outside the box", why haven't the world's puppet masters and veiled dictators suppressed the information to prevent the sleeping masses from waking up? To any that take the time to read and reply, I thank you in advance.
That's why the Bible was written 2,000 years ago to give us a guidebook for this life to prepare for our eternity with our Creator this book Urantia from what I can tell just from what I read,which wasn't alot, is like Paul of the New Testament warned us about,False Teacher's and False Gospels and that even Lucifer masquerades as an angel of light, I too like you didn't do well in a religious setting, once you really start reading the Bible it changes and transforms you, religion is what led to Jesus death,it was religious leader's who had Him crucified, beware even reading this book like I said I read a small page but it was enough it doesn't agree that Jesus was the Son of God Creator of Heaven and Earth, and Jesus is the Only way to an everlasting life in God's presence and pure happiness and joy,this life is short and temporary I know , I am a recovering addict that came from a very ruff childhood,God has the ability to transform your life. Jesus said in this world you will have trials and tribulation but don't worry because I have overcome the world. And He has, please put your faith in Jesus. Read the Bible for yourself,you don't have to go to what this world recognizes as a church,we are the church, the body of Christ, the believers of the One and Only Living God of the Holy Bible. There are other books that were not chosen to be put in the 66 books of the Bible that are safe to read. It's just that the books picked are living and active and are breathed by God, He gave the men the words to write. Read it everyday for a couple month's with an open mind, the mind of a child and I promise you God's word doesn't return void. Start with the Gospel of John, he "being John" refers to himself as the disciple who Jesus loved. Jesus Loves You too. I read from the applied version alot of people think the Only reliable Bible is the king James but that's just foolish. You can compare the 2. There is a Holy Bible app that will let you compare. But if you want to go deeper get my sword or E-sword app and it will also give the root words in Hebrew Greek and Aramaic with definitions ,So you can study it from it's original form. But please don't risk where you are going to spend eternity by falling into this trap. If you read the comments they responded to the people who agreed with them or who they thought would be easiest to take their path, you asked questions, And I felt led by the Spirit to respond. The Universe speaks the language of mathematics and the ancient people knew that. There are also proofs in some civilizations such as the Armenian stones and proto-mathematics where people believed the earth to be round and not flat. Your ideas about flat earth they come from Babylonian cosmology. The Babylonians believed the earth was a big disk fluctuating in a aquatic universe. Most of those ideas influenced the Western world and also it is part of the Bible and Quran cosmology. Mostly because the Hebrews were slaves in Babylon and they got all their science and cosmology. It made the Europeans believe the earth not only to be flat but also that it was the center of the universe. Giordano Bruno was the first to disagree with this idea. Most of the ideas about flat earth in the west they came from the Bible and Aristotles. By the 16th century Fernando de Magalhães proved the Earth was round when he navigated it around like many do today. It's funny that are people that still believe in things from 5000 years ago. I don't know what kind of "astronomony" book you read I hope it's not the bible. It's funny that you refer to "they" as if they wanted to hide the earth is flat as if it was a conspiracy. You accuse me of "believing them" but you exercise your faith in a random book of pseudoscience to prove the earth to be flat. I use the language of the Universe which is mathematics. You accuse me of being indoctrinated but I think you are the one that was brainwashed. If your eyes are the proof the earth is flat you are not using the correct scientific method my friend because the eyes can betray you most of the time. If you believe your eyes so much grab a telescope and look at Mars and Saturn rings and you will see they are round and not flat make no sense our planet to be flat when all other celestial bodies are round. SonOfGod777, I know your intentions are well-meant. I have read the Bible cover to cover, and I have read the Urantia Book cover to cover. As those who have read Urantia believe, it does nothing but greatly strengthen one's love for God and is not incompatible with the Bible. It is not Biblical blasphemy you fear, but those who can find God outside organized religion. God is love, don't live in fear. Urantia is the most beautiful telling of the life of Jesus in print...you should read it.

It is perhaps worth being a bit more explicit about what a few of the core messages of the UB are: pursue truth, beauty and goodness, and desire to become perfect. If one were to just follow that alone, with no particular theology attached to it, they would do just fine.
Desiring to become perfect, would give one's Thought Adjuster permission to help them in that endeavor. And there's nothing to dislike about truth, beauty and goodness.

Now as nice as nice as this little introduction sounds, I can't accept it. The pathway is narrow...so the wideness explained as bringing all religions as being right just cant be. There is one and only one. we should be loving and caring to all people, saying all theologies or faiths are bring us to God, i just accept that One church, one baptism are true

There are two sections within the book that review the major religions and what they have to offer. Scientology isn't one of them. The leadership in Scientology worship Satan, per a UB reader who used to be a part of it and got high up in the organization. Thus the two could not be more dissimilar.

Urantia book is a detail explanation about Jesus teachings.

If you are curious to know Jesus just fined a quiet private place and just ask to talk to him, and you start the conversation. If he doesn't answer then just wait and he will. 10 Major Points to the UB Revelation
1- From Infinity, there is one eternal GOD of absolute position, who created and upholds all universal reality from and within his own existence.

To the extent that our celestial overseers are alien to us, the answer is 'yes'. But they are not corporeal aliens. Their names/titles are listed in the table of contents.
The book discusses at great length all the various celestial beings involved in our ascension careers.

ANSWER: The UB tells much about the purposes of the mission of Jesus. But the UB makes a distinction that was apparently unclear to our scripture writers with respect to their more limited scope of comprehension....the Eternal Son of the central universe equal in deity status with the Father and Spirit is the second personality of this tri-God performance, but Jesus was the personality incarnation of our Creator Son, the first generation offspring from that Trinity. Our master universe is incomprehensibly large, so there are other Creator Sons within their respective domains. Creator Sons are the creators of their universe, so yes, the deity reality of Jesus as a Creator Son did create us, our world, and its mother universe. All Creator Sons are required to experience first hand the reality of their created beings regardless of whether or not a spiritual rebellion of sinful mortals exist therein. Our Creator Son (Jesus) would have incarnated on some world to complete his mandate from God's universe administrators. But in the sense that a rebellion took place in our planetary system his mission here did include the restoration, redemption, and redirecting of our fallen world which also includes all of us as mortals. The events of the Biblical account of the crucifixion, death, and burial took place due to the complications of political and religious circumstances of the event. After physical death, his own power of life caused his resurrection and ascension. But the UB explains in detail the development of man's God concept spawning from the ignorant pre-Hebrew pagan practices of sacrifice and how this belief became interwoven into the religious customs of the Hebrews and the building up of the belief and prophesy of a Jewish Messiah. So the early organizers as they were establishing the institution of the Christian Church, especially the Apostle Paul, brought together the scriptural accounts of Hebrew beliefs and predictions, and then connecting the Gospel accounts thereby established the atonement doctrine as a cumulative Theology. So, from the perspective of the UB which is universal in nature, Jesus was not a sacrifice for our sin nor has the absolute God ever required such a compensation. The UB states that we are saved from our physical death by all of the mercy elements set in place by divine creation and that the spirit of Jesus as it presently abides with us and the spirit life of God will technically birth our soul if we reverse our restrictions to its penetration within our mind, the true meaning of faith, it is not a matter of doctrine...The UB restates that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, that no man comes to the Father except through him.

@@NewEarthBlog - the UB does make clear that Paul's Atonement Doctrine is an abomination given the Father's love for each of us is beyond our imagination. Jesus died in order to demonstrate that resurrections are in our future.
As for salvation, to the extent that belief in the inspiration that our Father gives us via his Thought Adjuster which leads up spirit-ward, away from our more animalistic tendencies, yes, we are saved. The notion that we were born in sin is thoroughly debunked in the section about Adam and Eve, as their sin was not original, and was not inheritable.
Still no one can tell me who wrote it. How do I know it's real. I mean...we know who wrote the Bible. Even if u don't believe the Bible came from God, at least people say it does. No one even knows it has an idea who wrote it. Just a book from nowhere?

It speaks truth. You’d have to be gullible not to believe in it because that means you’re believing someone else’s opinion on the book, or like them you only read small portions here and there which can be highly taken out of context, not to mention sound absurd. If I went off others opinions I would have never touched the book.
Any book that brings you closer to God than you ever thought possible and forever changes you into living a life of love has got to be stemmed in truth, beauty and goodness. It’s by far the greatest thing to have happened to me in my life and I wouldn’t trade THE URANTIA BOOK for the whole entire world. It means everything to me.
