Wow, he has th e exact same taste in fish as me, right down to the red tail salt & pepper platies! I love it! You need more tanks though 😉 I'll have to keep an eye out for those wild type platies
I love live bearers too and there was some really nice tanks. Keep sharing these videos, they are great. I always get some really nice ideas to incorporate into my tanks.
Very cool video bro, I was not interested in small fish for a while until I found your channel, and it works out because I'm in a small apartment for the time being anyway 👍
Not sure of a link but I’ll see him this weekend and ask. He mentions in the video he got them from eBay but that was a few years ago. And yes good eye! they’re a type of aquatic onion. I don’t think they’ll be used in his salad :)
@@WildFishTanks thank you very much for responding back and when you do see , hopefully he can provide a link. I have some shrimp tanks that need setting up:). Could possibly be used in a salad. LRB mentions that duck weed is edible lol
Really cool fish room! This guy has all the wild type live bearers I want. I currently have z tequila, least killifish, and A towerii. But hoping to expand to more. I do agree with him though on the small fish are so interesting. I wasn't aware tiger teddies were smaller than least killifish. Now I need some lol. Least killis are so great for unheated planted bowls, so I can imagine teddies may be just as good if not better.
The tiger teddies are awesome. I actually had a group and bred them a little bit but ended up losing them all unfortunately. Neat little fish, you should definitely try to work with them if you can. Best of luck with your growing collection!
I really enjoyed this video, I'm glad you made it! I really love all types of livebearers, but the wild types are hard to find here in Germany. I always watch your videos , it makes me feel like I'm there with you guys, in Nature!
Sweet set ups! I like the wild type livebearers too, I would like to acquire various goodieds species to breed out. Thank you sir for all the great content, I appreciate it💯%
There are some really passionate goodeid keepers out there. Look up the “goodeid working group”. I’m not 100% familiar with them but at the American livebearer association convention this past fall they were well represented.
Yes, unfortunately that happens. It’s important to put a lid on your tank if you have fish that are known to jump out. Sometimes they will find even the smallest crack to get out
@@WildFishTanks my oldest brisslnoise that's 20 years old she big she try to jump out hid the lid went back in the water she is okay I be upset if I found her dead on the ground no lid 😭😢
Halfbeaks need bigger swimming room, 7 in a 20 gallon, they may fight n kill each other, he should watch them, he should keep a pair in each 20 gallon, at least thats my observations of them, or lots of floating plants
Jose and I collected fish for his tank ruclips.net/video/unasU0E47xM/видео.html

Fantastic. I love his tanks. Very similar taste as my own. Thank you for sharing! - Little Bobby
You must have good taste :)
I’ve had so many people “yell type” at me when I say the Tiger Teddies (Neoheterandria elegans) are the smallest livebearer. Great video.
Great video ! Where did you get your lights for your tanks ? I love how it looks.
They’re from eBay

Lots of cool small fish out there to keep, tons of variety
Great video!
Interesting. As I am in the hobby longer, my interests have changed. I really enjoy learning about our native fish and CARES fish.
I love that there are so many different niches in our hobby. Can keep fish for decades and always learn about something new
Great video Ryan, it's always fun to see what other people have going on. Also your video work was outstanding on this. A+
Thanks Don
Nice video buddy
Thank you
Great video. Is there a link for those garage racks that Jose is using ? Also. Is Jose growing green onions in his aquarium? Lol @WildFishTanks

Hi, having trouble connecting to your and your friend's websites. Would be interested in buying local, but can't contact either?

Great points. He ended up rehoming half of them and split the remainder into two 20Ls where he bred them
