15 Min Belly Dance BELLY FAT Burn (Beginner) is a belly dance workout for anyone wanting to lose belly fat with the technique and spirit of belly dance. If you want to have fun with belly exercises to lose belly fat with music, this is the workout for you. We do these classic belly dance moves: hip drop, hip twist, horizontal hip shimmy, pelvic tuck & release, small hip circle, chest circle, shoulder shimmy, chest slide, step-touch, double hip drop, vertical hip shimmy, chest pop-booty pop, spirals, and body wave (undulation). With these belly dance moves, we'll work our core-lower abs and upper abs-with slow and fast variations, and there'll be some challenges for beginners as we speed up and layer the classic belly dance moves. You'll get a feel for the isolation technique of belly dance and get the bonus of some arm toning, too! About JENSUYA
I began my "training" in 1973 when most of my childhood was spent overseas immersed in other cultures. In 2002, I began belly dancing with classes, workshops, self-guided study, and more travel to the Middle East. Two years later, I and my husband, musician Robert Peak (yep, our beloved Drummer Bob), founded our music and dance ensemble, TarabRaqs. Since then, we have produced and performed in hundreds of live music and belly dance shows. With honors bestowed by the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, the American Turkish Association, and two feature profiles on the U.S. Government-funded MBN, Middle East Broadcast Network, broadcasting to over 24 million viewers in the Middle East, we are on the forefront of Middle Eastern dance in America. When I "workout" with belly dance, I do ONLY belly dance moves, steps, isolations, etc. I don't do a generic cardio workout with some belly dance moves thrown in. Just being in proper belly dance posture and "executing" the moves is a spectacular toning of so many muscles coupled with coordination, speed, precision-now that's a workout!
