Phyllis! I absolutely loveee this video!! The culture looks super rich, that food looks incredible, and the beaches look sooo beautiful! Because of this video I now need to go visit this wonderful country. Thank you for opening our eyes to it!! ❤
What you need to understand about Trinidad & Tobago is that it is a land of many diverse cultures, and most importantly, the people of each culture do not stick to their own culture/race. People of every culture enjoy and FULLY participate in every other culture including music, dance, art, food, religious festivals and also down to inter-racial relationships and marriages LOL. Thus, you will find a massive inter-mixture of races and cultures. My mom who is of African descent was mixed with Indian and Scottish. She could cook a mean Chinese or Indian dish, not just the African dishes. It's hard to be racist when your aunts, uncles, cousins and even your brothers and sisters are of different races! That island might be interesting to visit if you have nowhere else to go. Trinidad is small, so you will get through it pretty quickly. Everything looks the same as landscaping and maintenance is nonexistent, so there is wild bush growing everywhere. Although the people went to school, the intellengence level of the man on the street is extremely low compared to the rest of those little caribbean islands. The "Trini" lol thinks its food is amazing, but the food in the caribbean is all the same with minor differences. It's all rice and peas with stew or green curry meat. Macaroni and cheeze, which they make into a pie and ground provision. Just starch and protein. The place is a "CULINARY DESERT" but the natives grew up on that kind of thing, so they believe its the greatest food on the planet. People are generally proud of their heritage as its the only one they will ever have. But you know how the mother of a convicted criminal will always stand up for her wicked offspring? That's the same with the Trini and their little piece of land that broke off the Venezuelan peninsula. If you like rubbish and fakery smothred in hypoxcracy and lies, then that island will suit you real good.
