Beautiful place
I’ve stayed at 4 of these hotels, Hilton, Courtyard, Bacolet Beach club and the Hyatt, the Hilton was my least favorite because they definitely cater to non Trinidadians, the Bacolet was very nice and low key, honestly speaking though the jig is up, get yourself a nice airbnb in Maraval somewhere or anywhere in Tobago.
Beautiful
Thanks for posting; I'd add Royal Hotel on Royal Road, San Fernando, southwest Trinidad, and Cara Hotel Claxton Bay in Central Trinidad.

They are foreign owned because no government has ever been serious about developing tourism in the country. They prefer to lease/sell out to the foreigners and not encourage locals to invest.
Haha
