    There were many who could be called heroes but their course was a dangerous one for the stability of the country. To date no one has has been able to remove the colonial structures or to gain enough support to begin a transformation of our society. The inequality, exploitation and economic slavery continue unchecked the only conflicts are for who comprises the 1%.

    No disrespect but your story needs a little more content. There were more soldiers involved and it affected their families lives also.
    To the person who steups in the comments, some of the freedoms you enjoy today are as a result of these people's actions.
