Great vocals
Excellent job! Fantastic guitar playing and vocals.
Very, very nice. Love the Moodies
Brought me to tears.
Awww!!! Thank you so much. It’s one of my favorite songs :)
Outstanding rendition of this classic and very beautiful Justin Hayward song. Performed with such feeling and empathy. Just excellent

I fell in love with this classic Moodies song in the Summer of 1973 when I was still just a young pup of 16. One of the neighbor kids teased that they could hear me from out in the street as I sang along with Justin and John. Didn't care 'cause it was one of the greatest tunes I'd ever known, so I just put my heart and soul into that baby.
You do too. Spot on with the lead and harmony vocals, beautiful tone in your voice, and really nice work on the twin guitar solos. Sweet 12 string too. Just an excellent job so good luck to you and keep up the great work...I just got done telling someone else THEY were the best I'd heard doing this song. But now I must say it's YOU!! WONDERFUL!!✌
Kevin, thank you so much! That means a lot to hear. I've always loved that song. sang it at my grandpa's funeral with that same guitar as well. It truly is his best, though few are aware.
If you sang that song at a funeral, there must not have been a dry eye in the whole place...Just sayin'...Think I'd like "hearing" it at my OWN funeral too---New Horizons for the Big Crossover into an Afterlife Paradise. (Or so I hope, ha,ha!)...My other favorites by The Moody Blues are You Can Never Go Home, One More Time To Live and just about EVERYTHING from the LP Every Good Boy Deserves Favour, plus Candle Of Life and pretty much ALL the songs from 1969's To Our Children's Children's Children. The rest of Seventh Sojourn as well (You And Me, For My Lady, etc.)...It's safe to say they've always been one of my favorite Rock Bands
.
Google the History Of The Mellotron on RUclips and you'll find all kinds of cool stuff like interviews with their original keyboardist Mike Pinder (My Song, Out And In, Lost In A Lost World) and Justin H. talking about how the temperamental instrument helped with that pioneering sound they created...Awesome stuff and really fun to watch. Keep up on all your excellent work, Young Man. TRY YOUR LUCK WITH A TV COMPETITION LIKE AMERICAN IDOL OR THE VOICE. YOU ARE THAT GOOD!!!👍✌
Well done. Beautiful
One of the sweet'nin classics that washes over any folk listener's soul - and you've nailed it better than anybody else's rendition across RUclips.
As a professional musician and Moody Blues being my favorite artists, I am extremely impressed. Compliments to you on a great job
That means the world to hear... Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and enjoying my music!
Really well done
What a beautiful work, indeed ! Well Done, Ryan !
Great cover Ryan.
Sounds great Ryan. Thanks for posting
As a middle aged man who once fell in deep live with the Moody Blues, new horizons is one of my wanna-sing songs.
Love your choice and voice as well as that 12-string guitar tone.
Nicely done loved that 12 strings sound and your impressive vocals!
thank you so much! I'm playing the 12 string as I'm writing this comment. It says hi.
That's a lovely rendition to a lovely song. Beautifully done ✅👌
Nailed it. Love the double tracked (harmonized?) electric guitar solo in the middle, he never does that in concerts. Not really possible except in recordings.
Just go back and add the keyboard string parts and a bit of drum machine and its really complete.
Ryan great version !I see you use the guild Justin uses live for Question .Both guitars and vocals are spot on .
Thank you! It's a beautiful guitar, though it's been through a lot. It's from 1987 just like his. When I was 16, I made sure of it :)
Beautifully done. You do indeed have a precious gift.
That's so very kind of you to say... That does not go unnoticed on this end. Thank you thank you thank you :)

You’re very welcome. I just say what I feel and believe these days. It’s one of the few perks of growing old! May your talent pave the way for a bright future.
A very under-covered band...you nailed it. Perfect tone on that solo, gave me chills.
I've loved that song since I was 16. Great cover, great job!

Your a good musician , did you try joining any singing contest, it like watching and listening to country music song.
Funnily enough as a kid I tried out for America's got talent but didn't make it past the first audition. I should probably try and get back out there!
