- Im a big Sorato Fan (that doesnt mean i hate Taiora, Mimato, Taito or any other) so i thought of making this video for all the Sorato Fans out there

Lol I really liked the Christmas scene, of course for seeing how Tai(chi) has matured to let his two best friends be happy together and still retain a mutual friendship with them both, but mostly because Gabumon, Biyomon, and Agumon's little banter over the cookies was funny

I'm surprised how the dialogues change in english dub. In the original version, in the scene 3:26 this is what happen:
Tk and Patamon arrives and ask for Sora and Tai. Armadillomon explains that Sora is following to the girl of the previous chapter, and Tai is helping. Then Izzy says to Matt:
Izzy: By the way, didn't you have to be with them?
Matt: I can't do anything. Tai is with Agumon and he is better than me for that job. They went together.
Maybe it is truth and I've always thought that Tai had feelings for Sora but in the original version this is not so obvious, in fact there are many people that says that Tai never felt anything but friendship for Sora. In this version they make look Taichi as the poor guy in the friendzone.
I wonder if Sora and Matt's daughter would ever hook up with Tai's son. they would be just like the BoruSara of Digimon.
In the original version Tai only saw Sora as a best friend and even encouraged her to confess to Matt but the dubbed made it seem like he had feelings for her. Original sub > Dub

Similar to our team 7 trio but here Yamato not being a cold hearted jerk and actually tried to save sora instead of killing her.
When I was a kid, I and only seen Digimon with this group, not watching anything after piedomon..... Tailmon was the edgy one imo.
This couple are just amazing . Yamato was arrongant , cold and dark when he was a kid due to his parents devorce he lacked love and care then he started to change accepting his life having not only his friends beside him but also Sora as a very important part of his life she's so loving and she could make things up for him . On the other hand Sora lacked confidence in her self when she was a kid she thought she's not lovable and she blamed her self for every thing bad could happen to the group . She then started to change knowing that everybody in the group loves her and consider her as a " mom" to them cuz she takes care of every one . Yamato made her more easy to her self knowing that she deserves love and to embrace her personality as it is

People can say this couple came out of nowhere, but let's face it... The three of them (Tai, Matt and Sora) were always good friends, but Sora and Matt are more alike, while Tai is more like the best friend who she always loved and cared about... I'm not trying to be rude by saying this but Tai got friendzoned... It did kinda just popped up, but it happened, they married, they had kids and well that's what it is... And personally... I like it because: Yay! I love Matt :)

I know that Sora ended up with Matt and Yolei ended up with Ken, but who did Kari and T.K. end up with in the end? and why did T.K. not even bother to show any pictures of Kari outside of the epilogue, itself?

My name is Ty, Tai is my hero, and I almost cried when I saw this first clip. His heart was completely broken and he was so sweet about it- Plus it sucks that Tai missed his chance during the time of the digimon movie when Sora actually liked him!! (Evidence: She reacts when it says "Love Tai" in his e-mail and Kari says that sora is "Still waiting for him to call"
The author of the entire Digimon story said that the movie script was not his. So it's like.. not original? (I looked at this article a long time ago and now forget where it is).
I personally like both, I really do. I saved photos of Sora with Yamato and Sora with Taichi

I, too, was one until I discovered that the only reason Taiora was emphasized was because the english translator/producer/whatever thought it was a sure deal so he translated a lot of stuff to push the couple. (He also admitted he liked Tai more)
The original Japanese version has subtle indications that Yamato and Sora are going to be together just based on their understanding of one another that, unfortunately, got lost in translation to half-assed jokes from Matt.
even in the original their interactions where non-existent. The creator just didn't want to have the male lead pair up with the female lead because he thought it be too cliche (same reason TK and Kairi didn't end up together ever) but he never made Sorato work which is why it is so hated. It came out of absolutely nowhere not to mention they kind messed up Sora's character by turning her into some kind of star struck groupie

I am also a Sorato fan but everyone else I know is a Taiora fan. I thought I was the only one but it's nice to know that others like YamatoxSora too. :D

When I started to get into the anime, I got the idea that there may be a love triangle between Tai, Matt and Sora. But now that I look into it carefully, I can see how these two characters come close in a relationship. This, however is makes a perfect couple. Know why? because Friendship and Love mix perfectly.

when i was younger and was still watching the first season, I totally thought matt and sora were together, but then the movie came out, and that made me think otherwise.
Okay, am I the only one who's disturbed by the English Dub of A Very Digi Christmas? For those who don't know, Japanase girls would make something homemade as a form of confession for guys they really liked: it was a form of important confession. By going about the dub this way, it kills the importance behind the purpose of those cookies. Also, by saying that she would make a batch for Tai, it almost undervalues the confession, even though Sora and Tai ARE friends. You can almost see that everyone (except the person who came up with Digimon in the first place) was a Taiora fan. It's because of stuff like this is why I really pity Sorato - everyone seemed to be counting on Tai getting "the girl" in the end.

But,I this video shown Taichi(english:Tai) is the best leader ever.He sacrifice his feeling,and I could see how responsible he was. I'm salute you, Taichi! It's weird cause in Digimon Tri which takes place 3 years after Digimon 2 Sora and Matt seem to be friends and not a couple anymore. It's the same with Sora's memorial story (which is a prequel to Digimon Adventure Last evolution in Kizuna) in which Mimi tells Sora what Matt is up to. Again, it seems like Sora and Matt are not dating anymore.
Some say that the creator said Tri is not Canon. I'm also confused because the creator always leaves the Digimon story hanging
I'm ok with the ending, I love this couple in season two! They were so easy to figure out, Ken and Yolei too. I just with they would have said something about TK and Kari! Izzy and Mimi too or even Mimi and Joe ( I don't even care anymore about witch) Just give me the couples!!!

in the original dub, taichi was actually encouraging sora to confess unlike in the eng dub where they changed it to asking her out. also, if you will actually watch the original dub of adventures you'll find it reasonable on why sorato ended up as a couple. besides in the cd drama, yamato actually shouted 'i love you/aishiteru' to sora while tap dancing to rescue them.

Sora and tai are best friends. They tell eachother almost everything in a way maybe sora have some what feelings for tai. Though around that time tai wasn't really interested in girls. And in the movie where sora was mad because tai comments on the hair pin. Thing im guessing she still kinda had those feelings. But tai wasn't seeing it. My guess she just gave up on it And started looking at tai as a best friend. And well along the was she started developing feeling for yamato. Yup tai was just Alil too late
I'm not the biggest fan of Sorato. In fact, I support Taiora a whole lot more. But, then again, it's a canon couple and I'm not one to contradict canons. Unless, of course, a canon couple is Daikari. i really hated Sora in that christmas scene she didn't even take the tine to consider Taichi which is sad. I know the writers intended Sorato but that couple rarely had any moments to prove it being canon they were just shoved together

Hey people.
Shut up and watch the cartoon like reasonable human beings and don't make such a big deal about the love lives between a bunch of people that don't exist.
I mean, sure, there are evidences, but *EVERYONE* expected Tai to be Sora‘s love after watching the original Digimon anime. I mean, for comparison, it‘s like at the end of Avatar, Katara does end up with Zuko instead of Aang. Evidences were there to show that it didn‘t come out of nowhere and all, but also *everyone* expected Aang to get the girl and if she went with Zuko, it would also just be very... confusing to say the least.
Am I the only one who approve this ship?
To be fair, as a former Taiora guy, all of this 'evidence' happens LATE in 02/Season 2, sparks directly from the Christmas episode, and has little substance before. The closest we get is the despair cave thing from season 1 - and even that was with Joe. Sorato's nice and all, but it really was kinda forced into the story.
I always think that Tai and Sora would end together, and Mimi would end with Matt, even that I'd prefer Izzy/Mimi, but since Matt ends with Sora I hope that Izzy and Mimi have a chance.

@@zkdkzs31 At the first episodes there was some mystery around Matt and Mimi, even that they barely interact in every dub, both characters were always together in many episodes, particularly when they split in teams. So sad we never saw their interaction when both were waiting inside the sphinx in the last part of Etemon. Also Matt was worried about Mimi's feelings after Whamon was killed in Dark Masters plot and started an argue with Tai. In Digimon 02 English dub however Matt is having a call to Mimi when she is in USA, but it's only in English dub.

And actually in the german Version I never even thought about Mimi and Matt being together..for me personally there would be no reason to ship them but i do think it would be quite interesting
To be fair, there really wasn't any evidence of Tai and Sora having feelings for each other in the Japanese version. Sorato was intended from the very beginning. I blame executive meddling for the whole fiasco. Probably, in Digimon Adventure Tri we'll see Matt and Sora's relationship have true development. Though I'm perfectly fine with Taiora as well.
Speaking of which, I wonder if the writers are going to introduce a completely new girl to be Tai's love interest?
really? i mean Tai overcoming his fear of death to save Sora seems like a pretty big piece of evidence. If Sorato was planned all along i feel they should have done more to reinforce it in the first season which they really didn't. For the most part their are more Taiora moments in the show and even movies (most aren't canon) which i guess where all the confusion about the Sorato pairing comes from.
The beginning clip of the video is one of the few Sorato scenes and it does better job making Tai look like an absolute boss showing fierce love and friendship to let go and not stand in the way that it makes you do the opposite of root for Sorato but root for Taiora
Well, I just wanna see Sorato development because the sorato of the movies was for me inexplicable I mean in the first movie Tai and sora were arguing like a couple but they werent but it was expected because in the series there was a lot of Taiora, in the second movie Sorato appears and I dont understeand why, I mean I need justification, I'm ok with Sorato but I prefer Taiora XD, sorry if I made mistakes but ai dont speak in english very well.
I agree 100%. I've watched Digimon season 1 & 2 in Swedish, Greek and Japanese. The truth is that there are no signs of Taichi and Sora as a couple in the original (Japanese) version. In the other dubs they give you signs of them loving eachother. Original: Real, true. I was very confused at the start since I believed in the weird stuff of the other dubs and started disliking Sora (Who was my favourite character and still is 1 of them). If you watch the Japanese/Original version, you will see the difference. The reason Taichi and Sora are close is because they are good friends, along with Koushiro. The 3 of them were friends for a couple of years before the adventures started. Even though I liked the idea of Taichi and Sora as a couple, I still prefer Yamato and Sora. They are very alike emotionally and their crests are just a beautiful match. I hope they won't change this for the new season, since I would love to see more of the Sorato couple.

as i watch this from i was about 6/7 years old...never tough got love between them...since they all just kids same as me...but when i growth i start to hope sora with tai and yamato with mimi sometime mimi with izumi/jo...but as i grow and watch their episode back i know tai always see sora as a friend..support her so does sora he love tai but as brother who will always support her...but yamato make her heart beat fast and i can see she always shy infront yamato....still i know other shipper feeling when your otp not get together

I love this video and am happy to call myself Sorato4eva. I love Sorato from day 1 and I find myself relating to Sora more than half the time. I love this video because it show my TWO all-time favorite things..... MATT AND SORA ( together though. Duh!) Anyway, I love the video and hope you continue to do some more.

Another reason why Takeru didn't mention it is probably because they didn't feel the need to say that they got married as they are dating at the end of 02 and Miyako and Ken aren't yet.

I know it been over 20 years since this series ended, and I'm happy for them and how the story ended but for some reason i still get salty for a really dumb and childish reason but realize it came to a good conclusion.
@Devotedlamb19 Remember that episode where Mimi and Koushirou were stuck in the labyrinth? He left his laptop to rescue her. The final poster for 02 has them standing next to each other. They are the same age, and apparently some director was saying he meant for them to be together at the end but didn't do it in an interview...But that's largely unverified. Weak, I know, bot can't say there's no evidence. Still, I'd say Mimi probably ended up with Michael based on the hair color of her son...
i also noticed that biyomon and gabumon digivolves the same time and is always there for each others side

well, i've watched the arabic and english dubs when i was a child, which are the only two languages i speak, and both sucks in so many levels
that's why i never watch the dubbed versions of animes, foreign movies or dramas. only subbed versions

Did anyone see the digimon movie??? Sora ad a deep crush on tai but since tai is stubborn he didn't notice .... Kari said that sora has been waiting tai's call ... In the digimon movie 2 Matt was the only one to know where sora was but sora was heading to tai house to tell him she likes him but years past and Matt stole her ... And that last part Matt doesn't say sora I love you he says "sora watchout!" Sora and tai were meant to be... Don't be sad because you got to read the digimon comics ...
