The buttstock and possibly the handguards appear to be from a Polish made type3 AK-47. Original was probably damaged and replaced. Polish and a couple other foreign made type 3s had the rear swivel on the stock not the receiver.
@@holymustache6029 there is rare chance it could be a stock for a AK47N which had the swivel switched to the stock due to the rail being in its original place..... but they are pretty rare cause not many were produced.
I know him commenting on this video way later, I just happen to find it but that cut out on the bottom of the buttstock is for a sling mount. I'm sure someone down-the-line in the comments probably commented on it. Hope you continue the videos though.
I seem to find this cutout on a lot of early examples (photos or otherwise) despite the normal sling point always being there. Must be a weird in-factory decision, I think. :P

@@josephsaliba79 Sorry for late reply, was going through notifications and just seen this now.... But I should have have been more specific! The cyrillic letter for date of manufacture is the last letter after the serial number. Not the 2 letter prefix before the sn. Which I assume is what you are thinking of but hard to know for certain without better description or seeing it... For instance I had a type 2 with a random offset 3 in between the year and prefix which basically looked like this " 1951г3НЕ1341 " which the г after the 1951 actually means "year" and is on all Russian firearms that have year of manufacture.. Just picture the 3 lower where the top of the 3 is near flush with the bottom of the г and the н. I have yet to still find out why and what was the reason or what it even means. Keep in mind though that the Russian alphabet also has a з in it. And I'm pretty positive the lower 3 is the letter because it is a different style then the 3 in the sn. However I'm also certain it was added to the rifle sometime after the original markings were stamped and they could have easily just changed the stampings which was a slightly different font meaning it could be ether or.. Another possibility as well is that it was added in ether Iran, palestine, or Israel because it was a captured PLO with a Israeli y stamp, the history of it being in Iran then shipped to Palestine since they supplied them at the time, where it was then captured by the Israelis during the 6 day war. I actually have a picture of it uploaded on Instagram if you have a account and interested in seeing what I mean exactly. My username is ak47_angelking_ak74 , just sent me a request.

The type 1 AK has a stamped sheet metal receiver that is unique to it and has a different rivet pattern than the AKM and also has features such as the gas vent holes being cut into the gas tube instead of the gas block like the AKM and having a different pistol grip, etc. The Type 3 has a milled receiver like this one here and is different from the type 2 with the fact that the type 3 doesn’t have the rear trunnions that’s sticks out of the rear by an inch like the type 2 does,

The strange thing that you have on the stock is what’s remaining from the sling ring, that was removed before selling the rifle
Nice video !
I think the holes under the stock used to hold the loop of the sling.
Abdullah Alsuhaibani yes, but somebody added that to it. Becasue type-3 AK-47 doesn't have the loop in that spot.
I am excited for your Iraqi contract High Power video because i have one too.

Hello, just wanted to let you know that the letter M was used in the year 1958, not 1960.
This rifle was made in January of 1958

М=1958
How about 9902M ?
