Yo bro, just as a bit of information as I know you aren't fully aware of the UK scene. You talk initially as if Chip is a small fry but this certainly ain't the case. Hes probably the best with a pen in the whole of the UK, especially in diss battles (see his beef with Yungen, Tinie Tempah and Buggzy Malone if you're interested. They were big names at the time and he was battling all 3 at once AND beating them all). Love your content though and also the fact that you took the time to read into the situation before you watched the songs.

The grime vets respect chip a lot. Chip has spent time in a room full of people like ghetts, Skepta, Wiley, Kano, Scorcher, devlin. He comes from a competitive nature and his own style just like all the above. Though chip is young, he still comes from that struggle where he had to prove just like everyone else in a room with others presences. Stormzys fan base need to understand there’s levels to this shit.

Don't underrate Chip. He may not be as commercially successful as Stormzy, but he's the king of clashing. He was beefing with 6 MC's at the same time and beat them all. He'd send 3 tracks for every one he got in return, and even wrote, recorded, and filmed a music video for a diss in under 6 hours. Man is a work horse. Stormzy isn't built for clashing. You should check out some of his other diss tracks.
