That's the one I'm currently on. Still need to finish it... this became a bit harder, though, when I had to distance myself from Mastery for a while, as I was on the chapter about finding a mentor/ being part of a mentorship when my boss quit her job at the time over an impossible situation. so insightful! After being tired of watching random youtube shorts, I started to watch useful shorts, like the one in which they tell you some excel tricks or ones where they teach u some business English words each day and some shorts contain a short clips from great writers like you and Jordan Peterson etc. Soon youtube started to show those kind of shorts more than the others. Gradually I started to have more control over myself while watching youtube shorts, every other video reminded me of my purpose and even when I felt lazy and decided to continue watch shorts, I wasn't really wasting time. Win-win!

I agree!! For almost 2 years, I stopped listening to music and listened to purely psychology videos all day long in the background, it was indeed a background noise. But after you hear the same perspective, in subtle different ways a 1000 times. Then eventually it becomes so engrained and it really helped me with my emotional adjusting to peoples behaviors and understanding in 3rd party perspectives to see both sides of the situation.
No opinion is not worthwhile, if well articulated and has an actual has a reasonable meaning.

0:15 live commentary: 0:21 didn't really want it enough to 0:39 avoid (Phyrric victory to power through) sleep(iness), so I slept, now I'm watching this 0:55 after setting up the experiment that I wanted to work on 1:11 That is kind of relevant now that I'm 1:27 no longer tensed with yesterday's 1:48 challenges, however 1:56 all the "winstupidgames" and 2:10 un needed conversations really woke me up to 2:30 how much I appreciate a moment to 2:43 sit alone and work meticulously. 2:54 This and the arguments really keeps me motivated to keep the the door 3:31 closed! "Why is t 3:43 his room a mess?" 3:50 I'm doing things tat enrich my brain, 4:02 in my own space, 4:08 I'm gonna pht it back when I 4:19 am done, 4:24 Not when you start to wonder what I'm doing. 4:38
I'm not so good at the time blocking thing because I'm a bit insecure the reliability of my alone time. However, I'll make playlists, {Songs, fake zoom classes, audio lessons longer than this one.} and it's kind of a serve-as-you-go scheduled workshop

In my opinion I’d make sure to address the underlying assumption that your work is fulfilling and that you feel the natural pull do work/emphasis on it enriching your work. This could be used as a means of justifying their procrastination gluttony. For what it’s worth, truly - excellent point.

Step 1: Get into control about your Mind. If you have gotten control, then you are in the position of decision, what to waste your time on. I know a lot of people who's Mind is under control of several opponents, concurring about their time. What they waste their time on is not in their control. Those people claim to "not have time". What they mean:"Others control, what I focus on"

While I’m still unsure how its teachings might directly benefit me, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed your Shorts on RUclips, especially the ones where you explain how to spot a fake smile and tell if someone is being genuine or just polite. Does it even matter if they’re genuine, or is it simply courtesy? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this. Personally, I tend to distance myself from those whose disingenuous actions I can sense.

Hi Robert! Game developer here :)
I'm a fan of your work and especially love Mastery! It's one of my favorite books.
I've been playing video games since I was a little kid, and they actually put me on the path to achieving my dream-not only of working in the industry one day but also of creating my own projects!
During a difficult time in my life, I decided to start over and follow my true passion. I taught myself the necessary technology and eventually reached my goal of becoming a professional developer :)
Video games can be a wonderful hobby, covering everything from fine arts, digital arts, mathematics, and logical thinking to writing, storytelling, and sparking the imagination-if one engages with them beyond just playing. I think you would be fascinated by the stories of individuals who have had a massive influence on the technological advancements of the industry. People like John Carmack, Warren Spector, Shigeru Miyamoto, and many more! These pioneers discovered their true purpose in life (and changed the industry forever) through video games or games in general. Their stories would fit perfectly into Mastery!
Thanks for all of your dedication and work!
    Always inspiring ❤

Playing is learning that's why we need to change our education system into more play than sitting, listening, and being wasted

I "waste" a lot of time playing games on my iPhone but it is very enjoyable and gives me a peaceful state of mind.

What I would REALLY like to know is if you ever scroll on social media? Since that's arguably the biggest waste of time our generation has to somehow deal with, I wonder how do you deal with it yourself? Do you find it useful? Thanks Robert, you've changed my life for the better in so many ways. Much love from Belgium

is such a great book for learning how to attract money and build abundance. It breaks everything down in a simple way, making it easy to understand and follow. If you’re looking to improve your mindset and start seeing results, this is definitely worth a read!

Video games give you a,usually rapid series of stimulate to which you must react. Also there are nuances that you have to figure out in the more strategic decisions that aren’t strictly physical reactions. They are very good for the mind in my opinion, with of course the caveat of keeping them in perspective. If any one thing becomes your soul reason to get out of bed, it is not the healthiest.

Mr. Greene, as someone who's been a "gamer" since childhood, I can definitively say that you're really missing out! (They probably wouldn't come as easy to you since the stroke, though...using a controller with only 1 hand would prove difficult 😕). Videogames are *usually* a lot of fun, *but* ... they don't come without their drawbacks. If you haven't played much of one, if any, in a while, for whatever reason, for example: the desire to "catch up" without being "addicted" can become overwhelming if you try to do this "all in a day's work!" 😂

After covid many achievers , hard working and consistent people who were in their mid 40s got isolated / stopped working and now due to age , work gap are pushed out of competition and the future looks bad for them. No amount of motivation pushes them to work , some are clueless what to do where to start. Mr Robert pls give it a thought as what can be done in this situation
