Sbu first SA is an amalgamation of political systems, Capitalism, Socialism is there. Free trade is allowed ppl own businesses and pay tax but the govt is still responsible to take care its vulnerable citizens hence social grants , old age pension etc. First i doubt Cuba can be said to be happy about the state of their country when many of its citizens seek better opportunities outside the country. In fact not so long like Venezuela, Cuba was once a thriving nation and trading with other countries their downfall can be placed solely to its policies and leadership. How do you move SA forward? When you have sober minded CITIZENS who vote for leaders not because of someone is short or tall black or white but leaders that put the country first that's first step.
In Africa we don't hold our leaders accountable and we don't have system in place to hold them accountable e.g In China/Japan/Korea if you fail at you job they remove you here in SA even if you don't deliver on your tender project ,they give you another one ,If you fail at one position as a minister they give you another post.a guy like Bheki Cele should have not remained minister of police for so long even when crime was rising every year .
