This probably one of the best guitar demos I have ever heard. Thanks for uploading this.
The tone with box cranked is amazing. I’ve just received my s7 and it’s genuinely 95% as good as any suhr I ever played. Love your tones and playing man!
Hi , I’ve just found the S7 via a RUclipsr that was reviewing a Strat I liked the look of .
I’m torn now tbh . I was looking for an HSS Strat with maple neck , good pickups - not crap generic ones - and a smaller , maple neck . The Strat Performer ticked most of those boxes but now I keep seeing this guitar .
Q= Is the rolled neck wide enough so you don’t get string slip over the edge ?
Are the pickups worthy ?
I’d like to try one but I live a long way from a guitar shop that sells them ( Anderson’s mainly )
Any help , I’d appreciate it , cheers 😉
Is it still backorderd?lol
I just heard of these guitars, and your demo is exactly how demo's should be done. Playing through various amps and styles that show off the tonal capabilities. I'm sold!
nice demo! i really like it more when the guitar is played clean and not shredding
I bought a flame maple one today.... It's unbelievable. The neck plays wonderful. It sounds wonderful, it looks wonderful. She needed some adjustments, lowering the action a bit for my taste. adjusting the pick-up heights and I adjusted the tremolo so that when I pull up I get 3 semi-tones on the G-string ( Steve Lukather set-up ). It flutters beautifully. This feels like my Suhr classic. It's a little more snappy sounding but in a good way. The treble bleed on the volume pot is the cause of that. Remove it and the Hifi-ness/harshness or how you wanna call it is gone...I like the treble bleed. Nice demo btw. The best on youtube.
An awesome looking guitar with exquisite sound! Love the roasted maple! Definately worth considering! Thanks for sharing!
I love the S7. I’m getting one. Amazed at the wide range of tones. Beautiful playing
Hi which differences between SIRE S7FM and S7
I've just bought the same guitar and I'm impressed with the build quality and sound, the neck is especially smooth and playable, great value!
Tell us more about the neck mate! I dislike modern thin necks. Is this one thin modern C or more of a normal vintage C shape?
@@Cheguebuddha Hi, I'm not an expert on necks but the Sire just feels so good in the hand especially the rolled fret board edges, it's not too thinner neck, I have a Fender American Standard telecaster and I think it's a slightly thicker profile than that one.
@@richw5612 Thanks! Are those pups Alnico? It kind of sounds a bit too punchy like ceramics would. Did you look under the hood? Are there any treble bleed options in the harness and is the Tone wired to 50's wiring? If you dont know all this its ok :) I just had to ask. Im still not sure if to go for it (but Im ready to pull the trigger).
@@Cheguebuddha Yes the pickups are alnico and more punchy and modern than my Fender classic series 50s stratocaster, which of course has a vintage sound, that I also love. That's as much as I can tell you with my limited knowledge of the electrics, all I can say is I'm glad I bought it, and I'm still knocked out by its value, I don't think you'll be disappointed if you try one.
That's it..I've seen & heard enough reviews on this guitar..this is the best demo for sure..various amps etc. I have a Marshall DSL5 combo & a Blackstar HT5 head going into a nice Montage cab loaded with a Celestion 12" Vintage 30..So...I'm sold..ordering this Sire S7 right now!
I have the S7 et Green , and its a amazing guitar
Bro it sounds good for hard rock n metal ?
Super good video. I understand that you specifically didn't want to create a talking video, but after listening to you play, I want to hear what you have to say!! Great work.
Beautiful sound, build and looks, wow!
Thank you for a great no bs demo, sounds really crisp !
Crystal clear clean tone 🤩🤩🤩
I think those pickups sound amazing!
Thought John Helliwell played sax...😅
.
So nice, each time I hear such a wonderful Sire LC demo I say "It's going to be this one"...
Best demo of this guitar yet 🤘👌
Killer playing
beautiful guitar
Another great video! Thx
Excellent review
I own this Guitar.....just buy this strat and u gonna have the world best strat body in terms of quality and finish. Even the tone...you can upgrade the picksup if u want to...but m highly satisfied with its tone...people gonna pay double the price for this someday.
Got mine yesterday...same model and coulor...boss
Crap. That sounds amazing. Why am I still buying that other brand for so much more money?
For the name.
@@hadeseye2297 Exactly. That's it the name.
@@TheBbtlegit From Big Boys I only have one Squier, a CV Strat and that's it. I don't care about the name on the headstock. But as everyone I have my favourite type. But I know why. Its neck shape if very comfortable. I'm talking about Ibanez planks of wood. Wizard does its job. Flat fingerboard (or almost flat). And Quantum pickups> Oh boy. Those are devastating for the price. What to want more? $400 for ordinary plank of wood that can move Chinese Wall - Ibanez RGA42FM BLF. And if you don't like the sound just change the pups.
Today I gave up a Charvel for this beauty :)
@@arnab2312 sold my Charvel because I disliked it. Then i'll probably buy this one
I want one now!
Great clean tones !!!!!! Luv it
How does this compare to a G&L Tribute legacy?
is it better than FENDER Player Stratocaster HSS?
of course
@@yoloman6392 Please explain why.
What's the thickness of the neck at 1st and 12th frets?
I wanted to buy a semi-hollow Gretsch, (because i love Larry but hate Gibson) then borrowed a fender mexican strat and fell in love with the spank of the guitar. And now at the same price range these Larry Carlton sires came out and they seem to do everything i want better than the other brands at the same price. I'm going to live like a hobo for a few months to gather up the money i just can't not buy one.
So did you get one?
Really amazing! But...
To me sound too "snappy" or "acid", could say also "harsh" or "digital". I'm not english so I don't know how to explain better my feeling. I can't "hear the wood". I don't know if it's due to the pickups or all the guitar. Would be nice to hear one of this S7 with son better known pickups.
The volume pot has a treble bleed on it that makes it so sharp, but if you remove that it mellows out a ton and stays really round
I can’t decide if I like this guitar. I bought the L7 and the pickups are so poor that I’ve played the guitar maybe 3 times since buying it. The build is great but boy are the pickups crap.
This is a really good representing video for sounds on this guitar. What are your thoughts on comparison with a true Fender Standard Strat HSS ?
Cheers!
@zackpack8 Thanks for your reply and input, much appreciated and I presume you own or at least have played both or have heard them fairly well enough to know the differences in sound. I fully agree with you, but I'll add that the feel in hand is slightly different in that the Sire feels a little bit longer, slimmer and lighter although weight wise they are almost the same with my Fender at 8.6lbs vs the Sire at 8lb. I finally went ahead and bought the S7-FM-TBL first edition just shortly after my post last year. I already had a Fender American Standard HSS Sienna Burst with RW fretboard. Indeed, I love the feel of the Sire and how clear and yet jazzy it can get in comparison with my Fender, which is warmer. Both are absolutely amazing guitars. Initially, I was going to sell the Fender if I really ended up liking the Sire enough and finally I decided to keep both, that Fender is just still too damn awesome! I also saw that the newer models have the split H which is awesome. I still like mine though it doesn't have that feature, it sounds absolutely fantastic. The big difference is simply price altogether only because Fender has a longer history and fame than the Sire, but other than that they are right up there together imho. I really chose the best colors for both, ha!
Cheers!
Thanks.
Looks like a guitar that named Dame (Made in Korea) at the past time. I thought, it's a same guitar but with higher quality.
At some point his jammig reminded me of Perfekt - Nie płacz Ewka.
Is this usable for metal as well? Not necessarily for shredding.
You're going to have to be a lot more specific. "Metal" covers a very wide tonal range. But it's obviously built as an all-rounder, not a super strat.
Is the guitar on the heavy? I'm trying to find an S-Type guitar that won't break my back.
it's heavy
Ntate Bonedo can I use please use the first song for my intro
Does anybody knows...how much is it the truth about roasted neck on this guitar...THANKS
Make a t style one pleeeeeeaaaaase

Need a Telecaster style guitar.
They are coming!

Just visited the website, and the T7 Antique White looks AMAZING!! I will definitely buy that one!!!
Anyone actually see LC ever play one of these things?
AE Guitar: I’ve only seen videos on RUclips with Larry playing the hollow body Sire.
roasted neck????? for the price???? totally insane!!
At Harley Benton you can get it for 400€.
a fender player series or this one?
This one
Not happy with the heap of crap they sent me as a guitar and all this could have been spotted well before they sent it to me. Now I have to send back and wait again for another 10 days and hope I don’t get another Hybrid guitar which will have a body of lefthand and electrical components of a right hand. What kind crap is this they are selling me for €600.00
Pickups sound just ok. The first thing i do is put a set of Suhr pickups in it and you basically got yourself a modern Suhr but for a quarter of the price. Bargain :)
Between Muscians Friends & Sire guitar, The customer service totally sucks. I would love to be enjoying my new guitar but, i have no idea where it is!! And yet they hold my money for it in the form a debit card hold and the bonus is every 10 days they hold twice the amount because a new hold goes on before the old one expires. Horrible!! Neither Sire or Musicians Friends keeps me informed as to what is happening. Both are Terrible, Terrible customer service companies.
I'd say this is soundwise on a solid Harley Benton-Level.
Get it for less.
I had the (now discontinued) Harley Benton Dynamic Strat flamed top with HSH configuration and the pickups were its weakest point. Also the neck pocket had a huge issue, a bump, which folks in Asia fixed by placing a sanding paper to level the neck heel :D I mean seriously! Thomann agreed to send me a new one but that one had fret edges rounded way too much into the fret board to the point of low and high e strings sliding off the fretboard when playing them! All this said I still enjoy my ST-62MN and TE-70BP (both modded with better pickups and electronics) Since 2014 Ive had ... likely 20 different Harley Benton guitars and they were hit and miss in quality. Truth be told HB guitars need ot just set up but also nut lowering and fret leveling and I certainly dislike all the Roswell pickups I've tried so far (ST, TE, P90, LAF, HAF, FLT). I did like the old Wilkinson pickups though.
@@Cheguebuddha
" I certainly dislike all the Roswell pickups"
Me too.
Sure HB always had quality issues, I just wanted to say, if I was blinhdfolded, I would guess that I hear a HB here.
I respect your opinion but disagree, i've never heard an HB that sounds quite like this.
That said to be honest though sound is IMO only 20% of the reason to buy a guitar, most of it comes from the amp and the electronics. So if you like singles, humbuckers, p90's or anything else. Buy a guitar that allows you to use those style pickups, then find the specs you want. Mainly boils down to pickup style, type of magnet, coil resistance and then a quick order from china and you have one hell of a sound. Honestly on par with thousand dollar guitars in terms of "sound".
However, the point to be made is that I buy an instrument that provides the tactile feedback that inspires me. The feel of the neck, nut width, radius of the fretboard, fretboard material, finish and most importantly the intonation are BY FAR the most important than the sound. After that it's the tuners, nut, bridge/tremelo.
For a fraction of the price i can make any guitar sound like anything, but there is only so much i can do when it comes to making a piece of shit feel like gold and i have heard that this thing is way out of it's price point in terms of feel. So i'm dying to get my hands on one to see if the hype is real.
@@molomono9795 Did you get your hands on it ? :)
