Dude I’m so frustrated. Is this the xnt 9 hw di t? I’m trying to fit it on my pro angler and have this same plate. I’m not really understanding the dowels. Why can’t they just make a mount for it.
I believe it is. I bought a mounting adapter for it because the plate was designed for lowrance. Try searching Hobie Adapter Kit Humminbird. The in-line fuse I got off Amazon 3 Pack -12V Water-resistant Add-A-Circuit Blade Type Inline Fuse holder with Cap16 Gauge. The Humminbird Helix 5 Chirp G3 DI with GPS is $338 plus tax on the Hodges Marine website. The 12V Nocqua 10ah battery is about $130. I’ve had the same battery for 5 1/2 years.
Hi, i always think, when u fishing on kayak there is big chance to roll over, how do u prevent your fishing finder for that? Is it going to be usless after drop in to water or maybe u have some Fuse or other system to brake power connection?
The fuse is there to prevent any kind of short circuit or power surge to the fish finder. I’ve heard of people not having any issues after a rollover. The only way to try and prevent damage is to make sure the connections are tight to keep water out and turn the kayak quickly back over. If the fish finder does power off during a roll over it is probably best to leave it off until you get home to dry it off and get it cleaned up of any saltwater before attempting to power it back on. Also double check the fuse.
