I'm in the process of creating an Ebook for university on cross rhythm scratching. The book will link to video accompaniments to help describe patterns through example. This is one of a few scratches I'll be covering more fully in the ebook.
    Abstract:
The principle objective of this project is to provide a video, sound, text and TTM notation based tutorial of various cross rhythm scratches, while discussing the underlying methods I have discovered for the formulation of new cross rhythm techniques.
I am of the opinion that cross rhythms have been largely overlooked in scratching, and because of this I would like to encourage further development in this area. The techniques I describe span across various cross rhythm beat lengths and serve to provide a strong indication of the potential benefit of further self-study in this area.

This one sounds pretty sick. I'd like to see it used more often.

doesn't an OG Flare have 3 clicks in the forward motion? and then just the pull back after? if you could help me out...i'd appreciate it....you got the best tutorials on youtube....you should turn em into a dvd or sumthing

Not 3, only 2 clicks total. 2 sounds forward, one back.

Interesting, I was praciticing this combo but the way I was doing it was 1 click for the chirp and then 1 click in the forward push and 1 click in the backward pull. I see you are clicking once in the forward push and then at the peak where you change record direction not a bit later in the middle of the pull back. Are both methods correct? As in calling it a chirp/OG flare?
