Part 1 and it’s longer then the entire kanto video… can tell there was lots of work and love put into this, congrats on everything :) looking forward to watching all of this
PLEASE READ - CORRECTIONS: I have made a few mistakes in this video. I kinda figured it would happen - I'm a one-woman show here, and I research, script, and edit on my own, so I'm bound to make some mistakes, but a few commenters have rightly pointed out some things that need to be corrected, and I'd like to clarify them here. 1. The Arceus from the HGSS event WAS distributed, only the Azure Flute was not. So, the Sinjoh Ruins were accessible, however, it still isn't technically part of Johto, so it still won't be covered in Part Two, but I still thought it deserved mention. 😊 2. The Celebi event in Crystal for the Virtual Console on the 3DS IS available without hacking or glitches. I legit had no idea. What's crazy is that I have those games on VC, I guess I just never activated the event. 😅 3. Professor Elm lives in New Bark in Gen 2 as well, I just only realized it in Gen 4. 😖 4. Tohjo Falls IS accessible in Kanto, but since it isn't located in Johto, like the Sinjoh Ruins, it won't be covered further. Though, I might make a separate video going over the Sinjoh Ruins and Tohjo Falls more in-depth. If you've made it this far into this pinned comment, THANK YOU FOR READING. I appreciate it. Like I said, I'm only one person - I don't have an editor or a team of people to check my work for accuracy, and I'm not putting my scripts on the internet for someone else to review, as I'd like to protect my intellectual property. Sometimes, no matter how much I scrutinize and double-check my work, I still make errors, even when I try my absolute best. So, if I mess up, I mess up, and I'm happy to own up to my mistakes and correct them where I can. Thank you to everyone who left me a comment respectfully correcting these mistakes. I appreciate all of you. 🥰
I haven't listened to the caves bit yet, but one thing I can appreciate about pretty much all the caves in Jhoto is that there's always a reason to come back to them or different ways to enter them to access certain areas, like going through Dark Cave to get to the other spots of the Ruins of Alph, or using Surf in Union cave to find stronger trainers and a Lapras
Yeah! I feel the same way! And they don't FORCE you to traverse them for an extended period of time. And none of them are lacking interest, except for maybe Cliff Cave, but even that one is pretty cool. Idk, I've never really been a big fan of the caves, but Johto really does them right.
@saffroncitytv I've actually been playing Crystal via the romhack made by SmithPlays called 'Crystal Legacy' and I've just fallen in love with Jhoto even more 😭
Holy Miltanks, the review of my fav region has more than one part, is STACKED and simply delivers in everything! It's visible the love and effort you put into this review, and I'm pretty sure that will make you crush your 5k sub target. Can't wait for part two
Well thank you very much! 🥹 I'm so glad you enjoyed it! And I really did work very hard on these reviews, so I really appreciate that you noticed the love and effort put into them. 🥰
technically the GTS in HGSS was placed in the location of the PCC (Pokemon Communication Center) from the Japanese version of Pokemon Crystal. In Japan they made an attachment that was never sold in the west to connect the gameboy to a cell phone. So the PCC was essentially a proto-form of the GTS, thought it ultimately only functioned as a way of distributing DLC in practice as the technology had trouble handling trades and couldn't handle battles back then.
I was recommended the Kanto video yesterday and seeing that there was already a second installment was such a treat, can’t wait to see more in the future
Can't speak for other countries, but in England, whilst the Azure Flute was never distributed, Arceus was distributed directly, and that Arceus did enable access to the Sinjoh Ruins. I did the event back in the day, no hacks or glitches necessary. And whilst the Celebi event and encounter with Giovanni are no longer available, Tohjo Falls is also just a normal area on Riute 27; in both gens II and IV you travel through the Falls on your way to the Pokémon League.
Your attention to detail and efforts to have your words conveyed in your videos. You're very no nonsense genuine, and your touches of humour make these videos an enjoyable watch. Keep collecting those youtube badges 😂, and never stop chasing your dream Sabrina.
Even though i started with Yellow on GBC, I think Johto is my fav and brings best memories. My second game was Gold and I was so hyped for it. Just seeing the footage from generation two games makes me want to play again. There was something in the colors and style of sprites there that was really giving me the positive vibes.
My first game was Pokémon Blue and I’ve played every generation, but something definitely calls me to Johto as my favorite region. I think because it’s the Gen1 games fully realized and basically a complete story between the two regions. Only this year did I finally play Crystal for the first time, and it was absolutely incredible. Cheers!
I never comment on RUclips videos but I just wanted to say you deserve so much support for the work you put in! So much careful thought and effort put into this series!
Well thank you very much! Honestly, same, I rarely comment on videos, so you leaving me this comment lets me know you're serious. And I seriously appreciate the kindness and recognition. Thank you very much. 😊✨
1:12:06 There actually was an alternate Arceus specifically designed to trigger the Sinjoh Ruins event. It was distributed through mystery gift and not through the Azure flute, and could be traded to HG/SS to access the Sinjoh ruins. It's how I got Distortion Giratina in SS 😎
Only just starting to watch this video, so I'll say at the beginning: I don't know if Johto is the BEST region, but it's certainly the one I have the most nostalgia for. Gen 2 is probably the pokemon era I have the warmest feelings for. It'll be interesting to come back to this and see how the review squares with my nostalgia.
Absolutely adoring these videos, the channel deserves so much recognition for the insane level of effort and time that these would've taken. Since the Kanto video, I've been consuming these podcast-style as I do housework/even whilst cleaning at work and they're just so relaxing and enjoyable. I do however have to stop and really tune in during your intro and breaks since you have just the most infectiously positive attitude and smile, cannot wait to see how far you continue to grow since this is an objectively fantastic gem of a channel. Here's to much deserved growth and a bright future 🫡 Also just wanna add, don't forget that if you're playing the Virtual Console version of Crystal on the 3DS, the Celebi event is actually available, currently trying (and failing haha) to shiny hunt one as I type this, smashed through the game in just shy of 4 hours to reach the shrine since you need to beat the Elite Four to obtain the GS Ball 👀
Very underrated RUclips channel. Hope you'll get more attention over the course of this series. It's a nice change from the usual reviews of Pokemon games. I'm really looking forward to your opinion on Sinnoh.
Thank you for the really kind words! 🥹 I appreciate that a lot! Here's to hoping the channel keeps growing. 🤘 I hope you enjoy Sinnoh once I get there. 😊
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the kind words! 😊 Honestly, I think Hoenn might be the Region I anticipate reviewing the most. It's been fun to look at Johto through and objective lens, and I think my love for Hoenn could probably use some objectivity to keep me grounded. 😊
@@saffroncitytv Hoenn is my favorite region so far, even though I spent more time in Sinnoh. You have a magical way of making a boring region into an interesting breakdown, and I hope you have fun making the excellent content you've been sharing with us, because you're knocking it out of the park!
Aww! Thank you! That's very kind of you to say! 😊 I definitely put a lot of work into this video, and I think the hard work pays off, so I'm gonna keep on trucking! Thanks for the encouragement 😊
I have always liked how Johto and Kanto are in many ways clearly meant to be opposites. You get Kanto with it's big, bustling fast paced modern cities, it's man made cycling routes, museums, a great big power plant, the SS Anne with Vermilion being developed and built on, science labs and of course the big Celadon with it's shopping mall, giant modern towers and buildings and you have Saffon City nerby also full of large, towering modern buildings and a huge mega corp in Silph Co..It all feels modern and forward thinking. There's a sense of real development, progress and science. And then you get Johto. It's much slower, smaller. The only "big city" is Goldenrod and even then it's said to be a newly and only recently built in Johto and still has it's nature with a forest below and a park above. Ilex Forest, with it's deep dark trees and claimed legendery protecter, Azalea Town with it's old well and treecutters and a traditional apricorn pokeball maker, the ancient ruins of alpha, Ecruteak City with it's old shrines, towers and legends and of course Blackthorn with it's ancient dragon masters and traditions.. So to sum it all up while Kanto feels modern, fast paced and forward thinking Johto is clearly happy being Kantos slower, traditional and historic neighbour
1:07:30 Quick note on the Lake of Rage in Gen IV. The trees are submerged due to high tide(?). The reason I bring this up is because the lake water recedes on Wednesdays so you can traverse the north and west parts of the route on foot with Cut. 1:12:20 Also, there were a few Arceus event distributions that allowed for travel to the Sinjoh Ruins. 1:12:50 Tojo Falls can be reached through normal gameplay. The only thing that needs the event Celebi is the Giovanni event.
The video is so long and yet when it was over I thought ''already?'' this is what happens when the content is good! Clearly you put a lot of effort in this and it shows. Rooting for your channel's growth
I'm going to reiterate a lot of what's been said in the comments, but you definitely deserve more attention! I'm not always present in the community, I go through cycles of binges, I'm now going through the 3DS titles, where I mostly stopped playing the new releases, and going through some new Rom hacks like the crystal one released by after the recent crystal RUclips series, so I'm also going through a lot of reviews and retrospectives as well. You've been a breath of fresh air. You have great energy, excitement and very good production without feeling overworked at all. Very natural, good stuff!
I had a Pokemon renaissance during COVID in my late 20's and this review does something very special. Thanks for the in-depth review on my first region. The 8 year old in me is grateful! Looking forward to the rest of the region reviews!
Another great video, Sabrina! Johto is my absolute favorite. Silver being my first introduction to the region, then Crystal and what an upgrade that was. Btw, you were at 2.9k subs when this uploaded and just 5 hours after you're now sitting at 3.01k with 1,000+ views. These region videos are gonna be the reason your channel blows up and its well deserved and way overdue. You've been pumping out great content for awhile now, but I'm glad more people will sub and see another awesome Pokétuber. Keep up the great work!💚
Oh same! Silver was the very first Pokemon game I ever played! Gen 2 will always have a special place in my heart, even if I did give it a rough critique in some areas. Anyway, you're absolutely right, these Region Reviews are really blowing my expectations out of the water. Thank you for noticing all my hard work and effort, I really appreciate it, and your sentiments go a long way for me. 😊
the algorithm pushed this onto my front page and i was not disappointed. watched the kanto vid first and then returned to this one. great work! looking forward to part 2
Very thorough but hot damn what an extensive preamble. Personally I would have cut it in half and skipped reminding everyone that they are allowed to have opinions, lol, but maybe that's not as self-evident to some people as it is to me
Yeah, it was a bit long, wasn't it? I kinda figured it was too long, but I thought by being thorough in the preamble, it would save me from some angry or confused commenters later on. But yeah, I went a bit too hard on it. I'll remember that for next time. Thanks for sharing your input. 😊
Wow! An hour and 20 minutes just for part one! Your videos always brighten up my day! And now I get to look forward to a second part. Keep up the great work Sabrina!
Just discovered your channel yesterday and watched the Kanto-video. So great, and so much effort put into it - Very appreciated! And a 2-parter for Johto? Johto is where my heart is, I'm ready, lets go! :D
Thank you so much! I know, I'm blown out of the water by the reception to these. I think I found my place in the Pokemon YT space, and I'm really happy with how it's going. 😊
It's quite something to see a youtuber with a bright future still small and growing! Just wait a little bit more and you will see the recognition you deserve!
Johto is my favorite region for so many reasons. The variety of locations is immense without feeling disconjointed. It feels huge and real; lived-in. Your content is amazing, I can't wait for more!
Looking gorgeous as ever! I'll never get tired of that intro. Johto is cool, definitely a step up from the previous games! Amazing video as always. I know I always say this, but this deserves way more views! I hope you reach 5k subs soon! Can't wait for part 2!
It takes a TON of effort to put together, for sure. And even then, I still make mistakes sometimes. But the effort is worth it, and seems to be paying off. 😊
Johto is ABSOLUTE PEAK Pokemon for me. I played RBY while in the exact age demographic it was aimed at and was soooo excited about G/S before it came out! So many of my very early internet memories are about Pokemon- like arguing about "Pikablu," and that time I saw a screenshot of Chikorita's backsprite and later drew an approximation from memory to show my friends at school (LOL @ me... IDK, not just printing it out or something?). In fact, I became so impatient about waiting for the US release that I actually convinced my parents to get me a Japanese copy of Silver, despite not understanding a single character of Japanese. 😂 I don't remember how far I got, but despite some vague memories of following a guide online, I doubt I managed to finish or anything... lol. I should see if I can find that cartridge around here somewhere. HGSS took everything that was great about Johto and made it even better, IMO. While I've played a handful of the games since then, it's been all downhill in enthusiasm since gen 4 for me. The aesthetic, all of the iconic Pokes... man. It's so good.
Omg, yes, I love Johto, it's one of my absolute favorite Regions. Pokemon Silver was the first game I ever played, so I've got a lot of nostalgia for it, too. I remember Pikablu and all the chatter about it back in the day. Good times 😎
You've got my sub! I liked the Kanto video a lot, and I can definitely see you took some of the feedback from that and put it into practice here. I think the idea of scoring the remakes and the originals separately really helps get at the heart of the "Nostalgia vs Objectivity" subtitle of the first video. I'm only a little bit in, but I'm definitely curious to hear your thoughts on the lack of Johto Pokemon in ... most of the gyms.
Well cool! I'm really glad you enjoyed the Kanto video! 😊 I really do try to take constructive criticism and make changes that will improve my content. Anyway, I'll definitely be covering the lack of Johto Pokemon in the region, and on the teams of the Gym Leaders, so stick around for that! 😊
Why thank you! I really appreciate that! 😊 I really like the idea of travel content, it's just that I haven't really had the opportunity to travel much in my life at all. So why not cover places that I HAVE been to? Like Azalea Town. I love that place!
Nicely covered part 1! The follow Pokemon was my favorite feature of the game. It was the first time since Pokemon Yellow. Johto is my favorite region because it all feels connected, and I'm excited for part 2!
This is so well done. Production quality is really good. Can’t believe it’s so long and there is a part 2 coming. Heck yeah Love this Pokémon region analysis
Love the video, love the content and love the voice. Peak RUclips is finding these small channels with banger video's, especially ones that are this long and still entertaining all the way through.
@@saffroncitytv No problem!! I hope you reach your Sub goal soon!! You totally deserve it. The quality of your videos are so good, and with each one, they just get better and better!!
Loved this video! Totally worth the wait! Cannot wait for... every region?! I rang the bell so I get part 2 ASAP! Johto was my favorite region and generation!
Well thank you very much! I really do put a ton of effort into my reviews, and I'm glad you noticed the hard work. Here's to hoping for continued success! 🥂
My first Pokémon game was Heartgold, so Johto is my favourite region. Both gen 2 and HGSS are some of my favourite games to replay, and Espeon and Typhlosion are in the top 2 spots of my favourite Pokémon. The aesthetics of Johto are probably the prettiest in the whole franchise to me, and I just adore it. This review was fantastic, I can’t wait for part two.
I definitely agree. Johto is like, THE MOST immersive Pokemon region in my opinion, and the aesthetics are definitely amazing. I hope you enjoy Part Two!
It's just my speculation, but I believe that the Tin Tower had it's name changed in HGSS due to *topical* events in the United States. It was the twenty-aughts, there were two towers - one having been ruined in calamity - and 'Tin' is one letter short of 'Twin'. I assume that, to err on the side of caution, they reverted to the Japanese name of the Tin Tower. Adults could easily mishear their children when saying Tin Tower, after all. And since I brought it up, in Japanese, the Tin Tower and Brass Tower are called スズのとう (Suzu no Tou) and カネのとう (Kane no Tou). Bulbapedia translates these as "Bell Tower" and "Gong Tower", but more accurately, suzu and kane are two different types of bells. Suzu refer to spherical bells that sound by shaking while kane are bells that sound be being struck. Both are traditionally found at Shinto and Japanese Buddhist shrines and are used in religious ceremonies, hence why they are the namesake for the place where ceremonies would be held for Ho-Oh and Lugia. In fact, the burning of the Brass Tower may have basis in the story of Houkou-ji, a temple that was damaged in a fire in 1602, destroying the wooden Buddha statue within. The temple's reconstruction was funded by Toyotomi Hideyori, which included the creation of a new bronze statue of the Buddha and a bronze kane bell. However, the bell was never used, as the ruler of Japan, shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu, believed the inscription upon the bell was both a curse and call to arms for his death. Of course, both the religious significance of these bells, the English language lacks words for different types of bells, and the fact that Suzu and Kane are be meaningless gibberish to not only most children but most people in the West led to the names being localized to Tin and Brass. This seems to be based on how the Japanese word for tin 錫 is also "suzu", while the word for both money and metals 金 is also "kane". Since it's the name of a historical structure, they used a metal alloy commonly used for ancient coins, brass.
Thank you for sharing this super insightful comment. Honestly, I didn't know any of the information about the towers that you shared, and hadn't considered that specific American event that I'm super familiar with. That is a very good point, and it's understandable why they'd change it after that. Thanks for sharing your perspective! I appreciate that! 😊
just a little note: on wednesdays, in Lake of Rage (HGSS) it does not rain and the water level is lower, allowing you to explore the woods by foot. Maybe this is something you'll be mentioning in another section in part 2? In that case, I'm sorry :)
Oh! Well hi there, fellow creator! Thanks for being so cool and supportive. I wish you many a view and subscriber to your own content! Sending you good vibes now. ✨✨✨
Well thank you kindly! That's very kind of you to say! I really do put a lot of hard work into these reviews, and it seems to be paying off so far! Thanks for noticing the effort. 😊
I spent the most hours in gen 2 and 3 as a kid. I've also been following the crystal legacy romhack Smithplays has been working on and its exactly the burst of nostalgia I've been looking for.
Jhoto is my favorite region. As a history buff I wouldn't mind living in Ecruteak City but as an introvert I'd love Azalea Town since it's pretty isolated nestled between Union Cave and Ilex Forest
Glad I found and subscribed to you like only a week before this lol. Got my region review fix immediately. Things only get infinitely more interesting going from Kanto, though your video made appreciate even that region more. Keep going strong Sabrina
Love your video and your work Small correction regarding the Shinjoh Ruins. While the Azure flute was never distributed, the Arceus needed to activate the Ruins was, in the US at least, distributed via a Wi-fi or Mystery gift event that only ran for like a week right after the games released, I believe, much like the event Celebi.
Thanks for catching those mistakes. I went ahead and made a pinned comment to address this. Thanks for letting me know! I try to make corrections when I make mistakes.
I have had zero experience with anything recording-wise 🤣. I just talk a lot, and I guess I did do a small training audiobook program for a previous employer once. They really liked it and said that I should get into voice over, so I took that as a sign that maybe I could put that natural talent into RUclips. That's a very nice compliment of you to say, by the way, and I really appreciate that! 😊
Love this johto homage! So well made, can tell a lot of heart and soul were put into it. Also if anyone was wondering you are able to legitimately obtain the gen 4-5 events still :)
Thank you! I'm really glad that you enjoyed the video. But the end of your comment here has my eyebrows raised. How do you legitimately obtain the Gen 4 events? Cuz lemme tell ya, I am a curious cat! I want a Jirachi!
Can I just give one suggestion. How about adding a segment about native Pokemon and notable people. I think they also add to the regions overall aesthetic and lore. Probably give us a quick 10 - 15 second opinion on all the pokemon, something like that.
Hey! Thanks for the suggestion! I feel like that is a really interesting point, and I've considered doing something like that before. In fact, I want to do videos like, "What if Canada or Mexico were a Pokemon Region" and considering all of the Pokemon that would be native to those places. So, to do that with an already existing region makes a ton of sense. However, I think I'd prefer to reserve that for a video of its own, so I can properly deep dive into all of the native Pokemon and notable characters to do their inclusion justice. Great idea, btw, I'm definitely on board with doing something like that, but I think there's so much to a topic like that, that I'd hate to relegate it to a small portion of a review. Maybe I'll do something like that after the Johto Review is totally finished. 😊 Thanks for the awesome suggestion!
Oh no! I'm sorry you have the flu! I was miserable the last time I had the flu. I hope you recover quickly and get to feeling better soon, the flu ain't no joke. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed Part Two and got some decent rest!
I loved your take on why the Bicycle Man moved to Goldenrod City, it never crossed my mind that his extremely high prices for his Bikes made him go bankrupt in Kanto, I had such a laugh i'm wiling to accept this as a Headcanon.
Well thank you! I would also love to see more girls/women get into the genre. I feel like there are so many ladies out there that LOVE Pokemon, and we deserve a little more representation. ❤
Your videos are really impressive. I'm looking forward for more. Just a suggestion, I would like to see you mentioning the level progression and difficulty curve of the region (wild pokemon level, trainers, gym leaders and elite four, and the order you can tackle the leaders). Keep it up Sabrina❤❤
Thank you so much for the very kind words! I really appreciate the encouragement! I think I intentionally left out deep diving into the levels of Pokemon, etc., as I feel that gets too far into the weeds and away from the Regional aspects, but now that you brought it up, it does kinda make sense. I mean, it does affect how you interact with the region if you're grinding in it all the damn time, and that can be a little exhausting and remove some of the magic. I've already finished the script and recording Part Two, and this isn't covered in it, but it may be something I consider in the future. 😊 Thank you for sharing your input!
It seems a lot of people are anticipating Sinnoh! I haven't really gotten to sink my teeth into DPP, so I'm excited to experience it! I'm also looking forward to that review. 😊

Maybe I'm growing older and forgetful 😂. Anyway, keep it up, I'll wait for the 2nd part 👊👊

Johto is definitely one of my favorites, but I wouldn't consider it to be perfect either. I hope you enjoyed the reminder of the video! 😊
I was sure this was a 400k+ subs channel the production quality is amazing keep up the good work amazing video!
Well thank you! I put a ton of effort into these reviews, and I'm glad it's paying off! Thanks for the kind words. I appreciate that. 😊
Here's to much deserved growth and a bright future 🫡
Also just wanna add, don't forget that if you're playing the Virtual Console version of Crystal on the 3DS, the Celebi event is actually available, currently trying (and failing haha) to shiny hunt one as I type this, smashed through the game in just shy of 4 hours to reach the shrine since you need to beat the Elite Four to obtain the GS Ball 👀
How on earth does this channel only have 3.7K sub. You deserve waaaaaaay more
Daw shucks ☺️ thank you very much! Here's to hoping! 🤘
Your videos keep getting better and better. I Love your content. looking forward to your next video
Well thank you very much, that's very kind of you to say! 😊 I can't wait to cover Hoenn, it's one of my faves.
You're so well spoken and enthusiastic, and your content is really original. Simply the best retrospective stuff coming out! Keep up the great work!
You’re gonna be the next big Pokémon RUclipsr. Keep putting the work in
Aww!
I second this opinion. 😊
Johto represents tradition and the old ways. Kanto is industrialization and modernism.
Holy shit this review is phenomenal. Thank you.
Why thank you so much! 😊 I hope you enjoy Part Two just as much! 🤪
I really love a appreciate these videos! Keep ‘em coming :) liked and subscribed
Thank you so much! Very happy to have you as a sub! 😊
Well thank you so much 🥲 That really means a lot to me! Thank you for the very kind feedback and for being so supportive. 😊
Aww! 🥹 That's very kind of you. Well thank you for the very encouraging words! I really appreciate the affirmation! 😊
Well thank you very much! 😊 I'm really glad you enjoyed both of the videos! I hope you enjoy Part Two as well. 😊
Especially the Gen4 apricorn trees! Such a good animation! (I don't even make the pokeballs half the time.)😂
I know, I love the animation, too 🤣
Very thorough but hot damn what an extensive preamble.
@@saffroncitytv Thanks for the great video
Wow! An hour and 20 minutes just for part one!

I'm so glad this video and your kanto one are doing well 😊
You're doing great, Sabrina. Keep it up 😁

Johto is my favorite region for so many reasons. The variety of locations is immense without feeling disconjointed. It feels huge and real; lived-in. Your content is amazing, I can't wait for more!
I definitely agree. There's lots to love about Johto. 😊 Thanks so much for the support and kind words! 😊

Can't wait for part 2!
Why thank you so much 🥹 That's so nice of you! I hope you enjoy Part Two as well! 😊
HAHAHA the pokemon cry bleep was so funny 😂😂
Haha 🤣 Why thank you!
amazing work, i don't know how you script, edit and research this but we're lucky to be able to watch it! thanks!
I really like the travel show vibes for these region reviews. Better than any geography project I ever made!
I know, right? Following Pokemon was done so perfectly in HGSS. I hope you enjoy Part Two as well. 😊
This is so well done. Production quality is really good. Can’t believe it’s so long and there is a part 2 coming. Heck yeah

Let's gooooo, so hyped for this!😊
🥳🥳🥳 I'm excited, too!
just a little note: on wednesdays, in Lake of Rage (HGSS) it does not rain and the water level is lower, allowing you to explore the woods by foot. Maybe this is something you'll be mentioning in another section in part 2? In that case, I'm sorry :)
Banger video alert let's goo
Why thank you kindly! 🥳

Gen 2 is my absolute favorite. Loved getting to hear your take on it so far, can't wait for part 2
I know right? Gen 2 was so good. It was the first generation of Pokemon games that I ever played. I hope you enjoy Part Two 😊
I spent the most hours in gen 2 and 3 as a kid.
It's definitely one of my favorites too. I, also, would totally live in Azalea Town. It's one of my favorite places in Johto.
Glad I found and subscribed to you like only a week before this lol. Got my region review fix immediately. Things only get infinitely more interesting going from Kanto, though your video made appreciate even that region more. Keep going strong Sabrina

Small correction regarding the Shinjoh Ruins.

I caught the flu and I'm about to sit down and watch this and part 2 in one sitting before a very long nap. Very excited!
