If you've never watched the series you absolutely need to. Ray is one of the best examples there is of a man balancing the most extreme character elements of his personality. He's like a shark living happily in a tropical fish tank, you know that one day it'll go bad you just don't know when or quite how bad until it happens!
The trouble with Mr. Inbetween. There's so much violence sooner or latter ( If his pledge of harming women) would have crumbled. If the series continued.
Ray’s smile isn’t that scary. His scowl is infinitely more terrifying, the look he gave that guy who kept the little girl in a suitcase made me shiver.
I haven't even watched TV in years. I caught one episode while visiting a friend, and had to watch every single episode after that. It's one of the best programs ever IMO. He's equal parts everyman and ultra intense hitman.

This scene does a really good job of reminding the viewer that Ray is not a vigilante or an anti-hero, he's a killer. There aren't many other 'badass' archetypes in TV that would hang a man for defrauding someone else, even if the victim committed suicide afterward. Ray? He'll hang a thief and walk out with a smile. Edit: The guys in here that took offense to this and think I'm criticising Ray; he's a fictional hitman. You don't need to take offence to me calling him a killer, he is one. It's his job :)

I believe Scott Ryan stated he was just burned out. He was writing the scripts, Directing & acting. Very easy to be become overwhelmed. I believe stated something to effect, he did the show when it was fun, but transformed into a project that was no longer fun for him & chose to end it.

I can’t swear that’s an accurate labeling, and I can’t swear I’d know the difference between a plastic bottle and glass bottle hitting the table, but you have to remember these are artistic choices for the scene to communicate to the audience. The bottle hitting the table punctuates the scene like an exclamation point, which shows up on the scammers face. Then the shot reverses so we can see the label on the bottle. It builds dramatic tension that might not otherwise be understood if absolutely true to life choices were made about the bottle and the label. But yeah, HF eats glass, good job, you understand what a dangerous chemical it is.
