The Eucharist is truly the Body, and Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ. Beyond all of God's other gifts, this gift stands alone. Because it the gift of His very Self. And yet, too often our hearts are cold and indifferent to this Greatest of Gifts.

Praying for you both-for healing over the loss of your baby and for God to bless you with children. And while it may be hard to think of, also be open to God having a different plan for you. After many tears and prayers, I surrendered my will to God's plan for our family and now rejoice in my beautiful, adopted daughter - now a grown woman. Fully my child, fully my husband's child. God's ways are not our ways-they are much, much greater than we can ever imagine. God bless.

We had a similar issue with my husband and we did not want to use IVf because we knew it is against His will so at the end God calls us to become mum and dad in a different way. We adopted a child....and I praise the Lord for that...He knew what it was the right thing for us. I would not change a thing. We said " your will be done" if you want us to adop make it happen otherwise don't. Maybe He is calling you to adopt too :-)

Thank you father for this amazing mass. I never really thought about how important the ucharist really was until today. I am going to interrupt my solitude and isolation because of addiction and sorrow to go back to my old church and give a confession so that I too can receive the true body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. Boys and Girls without this Priest I would be so lost and so locked in sin. He has been my middle man in bringing me oh so close to the Lord. Do not underestimate the power of true interpretation of Scripture. Father Mike is as we say in Jersey "my guy who knows a guy" and the guy he knows is our Lord Jesus Christ. Some day I'm gonna come all the way to Duluth to see the new church and somehow find a way to shake that mans hand. I know he's a big celeb now but he also is that man that has brought me back to my faith. And for that I will always love him and never forget him. Thanks again Father Mike.

The last story about the little girl in China was the story that made me want to really go back to my Catholic faith. I stumbled upon another Fr Mike video in 2019 where he told the same story and my eyes were opened. It’s so nice to hear the same story 5 years later and be in a better spot with the LORD. Father Mike, you are saving my daughter and my life. We've been abandonded by my husband. I've been starving myself in order to feed my daughter. Every bad thing imagainable that could happen, did happen to me this past year. I found you and God again. Well, God led me to you. And even though things are still so tough, I have innate peace because of how you break things down.

Yes , Father Mike, more love , you are so right , thank you, Prayers in Thanksgiving for HIS, Mercy and Love to draw us , to rescue us from the pit even when we are the ones who have disobeyed and got ourselves into the pit , yes that was me , I disobeyed my beautiful Parents, ended up in the pit and HE rescued me.

I've known it was real ever since my first communion. Every time in take the Eucharist, I can feel Jesus in side of me. When I went back to my pew and kneeled and prayed, I could feel God listening to my prayers. Feel the spirit surging inside of me. And every time I take the Eucharist even over thirty years later, I can still feel him when I take the Eucharist.

Great homily as always. I think we need to start the National Eucharistic Revival on our knees to beg Jesus for his mercy for our failure to do everything we possibly could to receive him during the p*ndemic. We all were indifferent and eerily silent as the government declared Home Depot as essential and allowed to remain open, but churches, well, not so much. A collosal and collective failure of courage which surely had to sadden The Father, Son & Holy Spirit. The second step in the Revival has to be a time of deep prayer and reflection about the specific and concrete steps that will be taken so that this does not happen again!

Amen. Having had a profound conversion experience witnessing miraculous events with the Eucharistic Adoration and multiple encounters with our Blessed Mother to include what mystics and seers described as an illumination of conscience 16 years ago on a pilgrimage, I can affirm that it will be a joyful moment seeing Jesus on the Cross with rays of white and red lights emitting from His Heart when God grants that vision to the world as a last act of God's infinite mercy toward mankind. It will be a joyful moment for those close to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, as well as a shock and awe for those living far away in mortal sins. Repent and return to God. Happy the Feast of Corpus Christi.

Well said Father! I think the practice of Holy Communion received in the hand by laity has contributed to the mundane attitude. Also the perfunctory way some priests treat His Prescence such as leaving Him all over the floor as "crumbs" or not purifying the Sacred vessels immediately after the laity have received Holy Communion because "it takes too long".
God bless you fr mike. This same story is also the same reason why I kneel down and kiss the floor where holy Communion is done because I know there are tiny crumbs that you can't see but I know it's there. Thank you for reminding me
Only God can change my situation I know he will. Jesus you are my King, I need a miracle today please come and rescue me. As a single mother, raising not one but two children on the spectrum I am overwhelmed and I’m constantly struggling to pay bills. Struggling to buy groceries, struggling to do it all. I guess in our weakness and frailty of our human condition it fails to grasp fully many times the big Grace of receiving Jesus Christ in the Eucarist and we take it for granted.
Is something so amazing what Christ has done for us that we can only pray to the Holy Spirit to help us and give us truly understanding of the Mystery of The Sacrament of the Holy Eucarist and the Faith also because without Faith we can’t enter into this Mystery,it goes beyond our reason and limitations as humans.

Thank you Fr. Mike, for helping us to conquer indifference with stories of awareness. I guess during the mass there should be a special moment when the Care for the Eucharist should be reminded.
