- Proglas was written around years 863-867 by Saint Cyril - Constantine, probably in centre Great Moravia (today Moravia
and Slovakia), in Old Slavic language and script. Proglas - Cyril's and God's message to the Slavs, someone see in this a beautiful poem, someone also a hidden prophecy. The Proglas consists of 110 verses, each verse has 12 syllables. This artwork belongs to the most important Slavic artifacts. Probably the oldest Slavic long text and in terms of content for its time (early Middle Ages) also the amazing world literary jewel.
