You seem to have very good success treating guys - but the Mayo clinic reports Costochondritis occurs most often in menopausal women- which is my demographic. Every time I see a chiropractor and they adjust my spine, my costochondritis gets far worse. Any force on my ribs causes intense pain. It took me about a month to recover from that chiropractic adjustment. I am very weak in my pec muscles. There would be a very major difference between young men like the patient in this video and menopausal women in terms of strength in their chest muscles. I'm wondering if this is the key problem with treating this condition - all the doctors are treating young guys while it's mostly middle aged women who are impacted.

The same brother. But in my case I hate all doctors, physiotherapists, chiropractors etc who I met on my 15 years hips pain journey. After 15 years one real doctor, orthopedist said that I have hip impingement and just need a surgery. Feb 13 will be one year after my left side surgery. Pain free. Still have to do right side. Long 15 years living with pain because 99% these morons were uneducated.

I just.ckeep getting miss diagnosed. I been to the ER 3 TIMES. One tome I went to urgent care and was told I had a heart attach. Then went to the ER did a whole bunch of test and stress test and passed. I went to a doctor and I told them my symptoms is telling me I have costchondritis they said I don't have it. I been going through this since 2021. I was in a rollover car accident on the highway. I have 6 herniation in my neck and 4 buldges in my spine . Right now my whole up body buring when I lay down . I can fell it when I'm up for the day but it don't hurt as much. My left rib always hurt. My sternum burn and have pressure a ache and at the exact same time my spine burn ans ache in the same spot/level. but in my back. This had went away but it has came back now that I'm doing PT. I think I need to go back to a chiropractor. Do you know any chiropractors that treat costchondritis in the Atlanta Georgia area. I live in Snellville Ga

Hi, hope that you could help me with this. I had a left shoulder luxation about 3 months ago in a fall, I'm in a physio program for the rehab of my shoulder and everything is doing well, but, i also have a costo that it does not go away with the conventional treatment and i have been dealing with this for 9 months, my question for you is: what costo exercises do i have to avoid knowing that i had that shoulder injury. My costo problem is on my right side in the second and third rib, the shoulder injury was the left shoulder. And for some adittional info, I'm 90% sure that my costo comes from doing some heavy lifted dips in the gym, Its kinda a nightmare all this, i was a weightlifter

    Hi Doctor!
My husband is struggling with Costochondritis this is what a doctor diagnosed him with. My question is can my husband go to a chiropractor or receive treatment like this from you if he has a disintegrating disc in the lower back area? What direction should we go in? He’s getting migraines but had complete testing and everything looks good so we are feeling like the issue is costochondritis
Or possibly his lower back and I have a feeling his ribs need to be adjusted but that’s just a feeling I have because when he lays on his back they seem swollen. Hope to hear back from you or hope I can some how get an email because there is so much to share and explain. ❤🙏🙏🙏🙏

I think I have costo but cant get a diagnosis. Just left of the breast bone pain (sometimes on the right side. Maybe once a week or less), hurt in the ribs closer to the front of my abdominal region than the back and into my left shoulder and every once in a while down my arm. Also tends to radiate from time to time to the left side of my belly button directly in line with the chest pain. Not always having the breathing troubles though. Thoracic MRI, 3 EKG's, echo of my heart, running stress test, and 3 sets of xrays and everything came back normal but my doctors are hesitant when I mention costochondritis. Been going through this for going on 9 months with no diagnosis of anything. From my research everything adds up to costo. Any thoughts on this? My chiropractor said it could be costo or maybe even my phrenic nerve. Any feedback on this is appreciated! I'm desperate for any feedback at all!!! I also drive an offroad dump truck for a living that tends to throw me around quite a bit. I tend to have poor posture 50% of my day due to it.

Damn I also got costochondritis since 2019, I tried everything using backpod, foamroller have my posture upright. But time to time it just comes back where It gives me pressure which will be released when I pop my sternum. It flares up after a long study session or when I'm in bed with my back up on an angle. I don't know what to do to get this away from me. You seem to know a lot and I would have loved to consult you, however I live in the Netherlands so it would be very difficult to schedule an appointment. Do you got any tips. My costo is a mild case, I got it from doing dips in the gym when I was 17 years old. I don't feel necessarily pain, it's just the extremely annoying pressure in the sternum that constantly needs popping in order to be released. Sometimes when I pop I feel a mild pain in the 4th - 5th rib. Thank you for reading this if you got any tips for me I would really appreciate it
