He may have been preparing them for the Sith's return. I remember in another video that you said that Dooku was one of the rare Jedi that didn't believe the Sith were totally destroyed, and that mentality may have influenced how he trained his Padawans.
I like Dooku's training techniques. He will make you brave, strong. You will be smarter, creative, free will, thinking out of the box. Which is very good. This shows how insecure Palpatine was. May the Force be with you too😊Have a great day too😊
Dooku is probably the best when it comes to dueling and his passion for his mission makes him patient with those who want to follow him. Sideous on the other hand doesn't really care so long as his master plan moves forward. Infact, sideous couldn't care less for light saber combat and prefers to learn more about force abilities.
I like dooku he was quite something special In a number different ways. His ideology seemed along the right lines and i would have liked to have seen him continue through the path he had in mind. He was intelligent, skillful and not a complete madman like most of the darkside followers or lords. Would like to see more on his story arc, which will probably happen. I think alot of people like and have a soft spot for him, and the take on jedi tales was good for a bit more insight to his life before the movies, that the movies and the animations are all I've got an interest in and i know ive probably missed a good bit more about him in books etc , but more of him and his story before he defected would make alot of people happy. I certainly would be and would watch it instantly
As uncommon as it may be, its not surprising cases with apprentices like Komari would come up from time to time where an apprentice develops an unhealthy attachment to their masters. Normal attachments are risky enough to the jedi mindset of the time, so something like that is even worse. Sadly instead of treating it like the case of misguided teenage infatuation it was and guiding her in dealing with it, the jedi just tossed her out the same way the toss out any jedi who slightly inconveniences their order's stability. I guess in a way Komari is one of Dooku's most personal failures and also represents another way in how the jedi teachings failed both him and also Komari.
Very interesting to see Dooku’s apprentices and how he trained them, also nice to see Kumari since we do not see her much, the only time I saw her was the Bounty Hunter Game
Any apprentice of Sideous apprentices could cough in the wrong direction and be a threat. The man was absolutely paranoid unless he had one controllable person under him.
If Dooku were a little more wise he would have spared his most gifted students, faked their deaths, and hid them for the right moment. Imagine the Count with his own private army of dark force users taking out Palps before he would suspect it.
That’s the key to Sidious being concerned about Dooku’s apprentices. The training either in the Light and especially the Dark is what brings out the concern. Ancient Sith were only trained just enough to be strong, but not enough to overthrow their master. Modern Sith had to go through trial by combat and the phase “one to embody power, the other to crave it.” Dooku was a strict teacher, similar to Anakin, he iron out as many flaws as possible to make their apprentices strong and in a way took pride in making strong allies. Just think how much more powerful Savage would’ve been if he had more time to be ironed out. Dooku would’ve been an excellent teacher for Anakin if he stayed after Qui-Gon’s passing and be that father figure that he never had. Later on, Anakin and Obiwan could’ve been true brothers as in a way Dooku was a grand parent to both.
Dooku was always driven by idealism. It's part of the reason he was a real threat to Palpy. He was the most dangerous of beings: a true believer. I believe if he had been left to his own devices, Dooku would have challenged palps' rule of the galaxy, or at the very least found a way to subvert it and continue his mission to make the galaxy a better place as he envisioned. Let us not forget that, while he became a truly evil bastard, his whole arc revolves around his desire to truly make things better.
It would be interesting to note that in legends (at least in the 2d animated mini series), Vosa's legacy would live thru her lightsabers as Dooku would gift Ventress Vosa's lightsabers after their duel.
Dooku was also a serious contender for lord of the Sith. It makes sense he would be extremely potent. It took a freak of nature (Anakin) to kill him in the end
I honestly always wondered who she was after playing star Wars bounty hunter when I was a kid. Glad I found out finally. She definitely kicked my ass a lot when I played lol.
I was just thinking about Star wars bounty Hunter cuz I was watching Star wars attack of the clones. The bounty hunter game will always be one of my favorite games
There's year girls liking "bad boys" thing... but on Star Wars.. THIS is taken to a whole new level.. since besides here we ALSO know Vader had a similar obsessed female friend at least once too..
I always thought id be interesting if Dooku had convinced Jango to be his apprentice after the cloning. Although Jango may have been too well known and connected.
Thing is outside of Maul, Sideous didn't train his apprentices. Dooku poured a lot of his knowledge into his. Ironically the one person that Dooku trained that Sideous was pleased with was the one who ultimately killed him in Anakin.
True and Maul while more powerful and skilled then Asajj, Grievous, Durge, Quinlan, Sora Bulq, and others was less so then Dooku, Anakin, Galen, And Luke yeah.
I believe that Sidious was threatened because Dooku's Apprentices had all been trained in more than just the light side of the Force. Dooku trained them to be more free thinking, as you said, and that also meant being able to break free from the indoctrination of the Jedi ways. Qui Gon was the only one that really never touched into the Dark Side, but he followed the Will of the Force, NOT the Jedi's service of the Senate. It can almost be said that Qui Gon Jinn wasn't even a Jedi, but a servant of the Force that aligned with the light.

Star Wars bounty hunter on ps2 was about jango's orgins and komari vosa was the final boss. Awesome game back in the day. Thats were some of these images are from.
the Expanded Universe needed more context on the time between The Phantom Menace and Attack Of The Clones than we got in the comics. that Dark Horse run was excellent but there were many side characters like Komari that should have gotten more focus. perhaps in the future, if the EU is ever reinstated as a separate timeline, those stories can be told.
This is why Legends cannot be discarded to it's own story arc, separate from canon. Legends is secondary canon or continuous canon. It was always canon, and I still consider it canon along with G canon. You'll never know how Ventress got her lightsabers until you explore Star Wars Legends.
@@АлексейМомот-щ7о I understand and respect what you are saying. But in canon, as well as Legends, Ventress has a green single bladed lightsaber. The curved lightsaber hilts were created by Komari Vosa. These sabers were "GIVEN", to Ventress, she never CONSTRUCTED them herself. I'm sure you already know this. It just frustrates me that TCW ignored Legends and separates it away from g canon. G canon as well as Legends completes the whole story of Star wars. TCW is just Dave Filoni creating his own version of Star Wars. TCW is just retconned Canon or Altered Canon. Thanks for your comment my friend.
@@BlueDeath-r13 I agree with you about Legends being better. I'm just saying after the reboot we can't just assume Legends things are still valid explanations for the reboot continuity. Like, we know Ventress gave Anakin a scar, but TCW show makes it impossible for it to be the same story as Republic comic by moving the timeline of Anakin's knighting.
The fact that canon likes to provide no explanations either makes it considerate, because they don't want to overwrite a Legends explanation, or maybe they're just being lazy. We still don't know how Anakin got a scar and how Bothans look in Disney canon a whole 10 years in the reboot, it's ridiculous.
Dooku was *not* a bad person, he was not a piece of crap like Sidious who would hide techniques and stuff from Dooku because he felt threatened, he actually taught his apprentices stuff he knew for them to grow as people, it was the old man/jedi in him. Sidious was just a piece of crap altogether, and a p_sy hence Yoda's line "If so powerful you are, why leave?"
@@Tataddove-gd7or He didn't get his ass whopped by sidius, he literally got unlucky, first because he was about to kill sidius with his saber and lost it, and two because he managed to counter Sidius' lightning since Yoda was better at the force than him, but since he was standing at the border/much lighter he got thrown away by the force and couldn't manage to grab on. Any of those things were slightly different and Sidius would have lost just like that
I thought Komari Vosa was his padawan after Qui Gon became a knight 🤔 The timing of the battle of Galidraan should have been around the time Qui Gon was starting to train Obiwan
I did not know about this apprentice, but yeah, I could definitely see the pattern and Doku is probably just a better teacher, a more gifted teacher. I’m sure it may have to do with his upbringing. I don’t know when he was in indoctrinated, and to the Jedi order with her as a child or something else or he was later on, butit could be that he’s probably just a gifted, master gifted teacher
Seven? I feel like when it comes to apprentices less is more. Seriously the man was what like 75 (not in real life, but on-screen portrayal)? Again, maybe it’s just me, but 7 seems like a LOT of apprentices.
I respect Dooku's training methods.
Palpatine feared Dooku and all of his apprentices because of how well they train in the force and how powerful they were becoming
Yeah he uses them for his purposes during the war, but all of their ultimate fates are the same. Including Dooku himself.
Anakin was always the goal.
Yes and the goal killed palpatine in the end
That is killed by his own stone@@pingamalinga

That final level from Star Wars bounty hunter was really awesome.
True!
Remember the parkour level, jumping between vehicles in the sky. I died so many times on that shit. 😂

You're definitely right he would have overthrown Palpatine - that's almost exactly the offer he made to Obi-wan on Geonosis.
Dooku's apprentices share strong will and independent minds, which led to their ultimate destruction.
This gave me nostalgia for Star Wars: Bounty Hunter.
