My personal preference is that I'm not a huge fan of the urns, spillway bowls - or anything artificial for that matter - being incorporated into the natural ponds all you Aquascape guys build (which isn't meant to belittle someone else's personal preference).
That said, as stand alone features, they are outstanding! I think my favorites are those basalt columns, especially a group of three, but those urns are really growing on me too.
(Don't tell my wife that all her frog and bird statues are going to find their way somewhere, anywhere, other than by MY pond 🤣 We'll just keep that between us, okay buddy 😜)

I have the small stacked urn on top of the 30" aquabasin which is too small for the job. As you can discern from this professional installation you need a much larger catchment area than what you might think. Next spring I'll replace it for larger 45 aquabasin -- and that's just for one small urn. You need a much larger catchment area that you think unless you enjoy topping up the water reservoir on a daily basis. :-)
Love these stacked slate urns, petty it is very costly to get them here in Sweden.
Nice! What do you guys put at the top of the fountain that was being screwed in? Didnt look like normal PVC. Planning a home project

Good evening Jack hope you're having a great day. I love the hurns for sure. Too bad they didn't plant around it nicely to really enhance the feature. Looks like its it's missing something just to accent them. The guys had it look nicer with the area ready for plants rather than grass but its really up the the individual on what they want and want to spend money on. Great video like always. Love the hurns in anyway and especially when theur incorporated into a pond feature. Their really a statement pice for sure. Blessings to you and your family. My thoughts exactly, some nice palms or yuccas would be my choice, along with lillies or something.
Maybe I'm speaking out of turn, but you guys got to give it a little time. Plants don't sping up overnight. I bet by this time next year that feature will be vastly different.

could they have used 2 aquabasin 45's..i think he said the blocks hold about 95 gallons?
I am doing this my self. I want to go for medium urn and medium spear. How much of space around the urn should I leave for the splash ? I am putting this in backyard and really not that much space
You need to take into account wind as well as splash. Good rule of thumb is to go larger than you think you need to. Better to have extra than not enough.
Looks great, you better watch out tho jaak Drew's getting good with that camera, you may end up stuck in the office lol
