There's an abandoned KFC in my area, Amsterdam, New York on Rt 30a. I remember it was old in the early 2000s when I was little and reminded me of the 70s. It's still intact but everything is boarded up and it's just gonna lay there forever because the rest of the town is like that.
Hi we had a Taco Bell a&w combo at route 31 in clay new york. They got rid of a&w and are now only in KFC by itself. We also have a Taco Bell KFC and Liverpool on 7 North Street next to a gas station by the New York State Thruway
I have never seen in real life a combo store of them. We just had our taco bell and kfc separate here. In myrtle beach -conway area.
My first job was a kfc/Taco Bell... I got hired before Taco Bell came in... I was hired just for Taco Bell. We had a reduced menu. No 7 layer burritos!
There is an combo KFC - Taco Bell still going near me at Newton, IA just off I-80. Go out there now and then getting the big box meals
I saw one of these combo stores when I visited Cape Cod
There were three of them (at one point) near where I live. One was torn down for a bank, one was closed and reposed as just a Taco Bell a few years later, and One is still a KFC/Taco Bell
I’ve lived here in Benbrook nearly 40 years, the Taco Bell portion closed quite a bit before KFC went out of business. I can’t remember how long it’s been but it’s honestly just an eyesore now, they really need to just tear it down. Way before this one was built, our local Taco Bell was just down the street as a stand alone restaurant. They closed that one in the early 90’s and then this Taco Bell/KFC was built.
Sidenote: We now have a Taco Bueno out here so if you come back through our town there ya go!

Some of the Taco Bell/KFC/Pizza Hut combo stores have special signage that puts the logos in a flag-like formation. The closest one to me I know of is a Taco Bell/Pizza Hut on Route 1 in Philadelphia, PA. As of June 2021 according to Google Maps, it still has the flag signage, and its 90's aesthetic.

Was also a pizza hut as well, a triple combo in the late 90s. Makes me sad to see. Went and got star wars episode one cups from there curing summer 99

Wallie, I think you may be right about it being longer than 2018, but It looks like they used non pressure treated plywood to cover the windows, which would decay quicker :)
I know some of the workers that worked there they said that taco bell got shut down first because the manager use to use dog food if they ran out of the taco meat

That iphone signage was definitely weird to find. Those boards definitely look old. Its weird how some windows arent boarded and some are, but that drive thru was very narrow, so if the railing is like that because of so many vehicles hitting it, it wouldn't even surprise me.
There's an abandoned bk in Strongsville Ohio and the KFC turned loanmax and now Mexican restaurant which was a 1940s hobby shop with other buildings and businesses in cleveland Ohio and Aldi there too which was a factory pick n pay finast tops
The quest for food continues. Can't even get a mashed potato bowl and tacos. The inside aesthetics look awesome can't beat that design.
The Taco Bell KFC/ near me recently closed. If you ever visit Buffalo check it out, I used to go there all the time and it's on Transit Road I believe
Around where I live we just have individual KFC and Taco Bell restaurants
The security cameras on the outer wall of the restaurant still look like they were installed yesterday.
As of Dec 2021 there is now a very visible no trespassing sign and books on that table in the front window, must be being used for something :P instantstreetview :)

They are pretty common in Texas. A&W and Long John Silvers combos are as well.
@@jamiecopeland9413 Yes, I've eaten at a A&W Long John Silvers combo. Many years ago when I a little boy, we had a stand alone A&W Root Beer here my hometown of Weirton,WV. I'd have 2 hot dogs and a mug of A&W Root Beer. They had car hops and they'd put the tray on your car door window. I miss those days of eating at restaurants that had car hops. We had an Elby's Big Boy and they had car hops.
Have multiple of these in my area just remolded three of them last year

Not anymore. They sold Long John Silver’s a decade ago. They still have some combo locations, but they decided Long John Silvers wasn’t big or valuable enough to keep.
