I wonder who does get the money though. The artist or the record companies? The artist owns the 'author' rights and typically the record company owns the 'mechanical recording' rights. But they didn't record it... I did.

Unmatched, unattainable, and unparalleled. That was the best era of the mighty ‘Rÿche!
This band was big but it should have been massive. The talent on that stage was off the charts. Every single element was absolute dynamite.
Such a technically solid band, especially in this era, Scott's drumming is absolutely spot on and intricate, Geoff and the boys are absolutely killing it here. They never disappoint, long live Queensryche 🤘🏼❤️
🤟
Additionally, this was a 2 hour show with no real breaks, just non stop……..phenomenal.
So Under rated its ridiculous, queensryche was bad ass
An incredible band at their peak. It didn't get any better than this... What a stunning performance.
One of the best live acts EVER. What a band. I still miss them. The Queenrÿche of today is just a faint shadow of these guys. I miss the DeGarmo and Tate days. Excellent! Thanks so much for uploading.
I'm not so sure. Their new line up put out some of the heavist in their catalog. They measure up to some of the earlier albums. Have the latest on repeat. 🤟✌❤
@@icemike874The magic is missing.
Me too bro. Miss The hell lutta that band.
I agree man. They were absolutely one of the best lives bands. So close to the albums.
Ok boomer
Geoff Tate of this era was a force of nature. Just unbelievable talent.
The band, as a unit, was a force of nature back in the day.
Have you heard anything he's done really recently? I think he stopped smoking and I know he's healthier now than he had been for quite time. He had open heart surgery within the last couple years and is the man I remember so well. Give him a try. Just remember that he is now 65...
What a besat of band Queesryche was in its prime!! It's simply mindblowing!!
indeed incomparable
You're right man . . . . . just a fuckin powerhouse !
In every conceivable way
100% perfect. Never heard another act top this level of performance. Stunning.

Man I wish they would ha e played is there anybody listening that is probably my favorite song on the Empire album ,I'm Sure it's a hard one to do live but these guys could handle it I have no doubt in my mind .
My first concert ever. My favorite concert ever. I miss Queensrÿche, this Queensrÿche. 💔
Wow, what an excellent first concert! I bet you’re a lifelong metalhead. 👊🏼
The ONLY Queensryche.
My first concert too! Nov. ‘91, Metalhead for life!
There is no Queensryche anymore, not without Scott Rockenfield, much less Geoff Tate & Chris De Garmo. Just Jackson & Wilton are left. And Geoff has to say he's doing a "Queensryche cover" can you believe it? 💜🔥🤘😭🤘🔥💜
WHO doesnt...
What a great band ! G.Ts singing is from another planet !
Geoff Tate's performance as a singer and a frontman is at its peak. His theatrics are not preventing him from singing like it's an album recording. Simply amazing.
Queensryche was untouchable during this era. I don't think it was Chris DeGarmo's departure that started the downfall, he was only the first casualty. The band didn't work as a unit to react to the changes in the music scene. Hear In The Now Frontier was basically Chris' solo album, and probably nobody's favorite. He left right after, exhausted and disillusioned with the band (I assume).
I do think it was Chris's departure that started Queensryches downfall. He was the main writer and his voice was so good, he could have easily fronted his own band. Without Chris, Geoff didn't have the amazing backing vocals/ harmonies, which definitely effected the sound as a whole. Peace!
Possibly the best Queensryche we'll ever get.
Such an incredible band, ahead of their time.
The best band I’ve ever seen live.
The performance of Queensryche, in this era, was just *PERFECT* !!!
I loved original QR any chance ever s come back reunion guus
Geoff y'all comr south we all still remember how much part of our young lives you were u left we r still with u tho your south Mississippi New Orleans Alabama Louisiana we still love you here we need you things are beautiful magical years between your songs and lyrics and best musicians ever we're waiting
I am blessed to have grown up in this era, never to happen again.
Thanks for the memories, one of the best bands to ever take the stage !!!!!
My first Queensryche concert was on the Warning tour in Sacramento, CA in 1985. Next was Rage for Order (the vampire tour and one of their best albums. Mindcrime was when they hit it big and Empire was the QR machine in their prime. The last of this epic lineup was on the Promised Land tour...and again one of their best. I'm just happy to have seen them live so many times over the years. These guys could not be touched. Thanks for the upload. Great work getting this online for all of us to see and hear.
Do they benefit from these uploads? Is it official?
@@joanndetmer What's wrong?
I love these guys, so amazing, original, unique, truly one of a kind, ✝️❤👍
God Queensryche has always had such style, intelligence, talent, & finesse!! And Geoff Tate just oozes sexiness & class!
Have you seen him post Queensryche? It's now 2024 and he's healthier than he'd been in a long time, probably a lot of lifestyle changes due to a major health scare that required open heart surgery. He's 65 and doing an extensive tour of Europe right now. He will be in FL for a special New Year's Eve show/party - wish I could be there just to renew our friendship...
I had the luxury of seeing them the original lineup twice and then one time after Chris left. Phenomenal every time. Rush is my favorite band, but other than them the best live show I've ever seen were these guys. The stage show, the musicianship, phenomenal vocals, you name it. As Good as it gets. A part of me died when this super group started to fall apart.
I can’t believe how good they sounded here. What a performance. Thanks for sharing!!
Such a magical band for the times, as hair metal was dying and Nirvana was taking over, along comes Queensrche to say metal is here to stay.
Phenomenal band ! G.T is from another planet !!!
Ah, real Queensryche. This is them.
Un fn believable
Check out their new track "In Extremis" that dropped today... they're keepin' it real.
lol real queensryche ... lets not forget the direction this “real queensryche” went ...outside writers and studio musicians write and record their music, the cabaret show.. don’t forget about Geoff assaulting half the band
yes “real queensryche”
real Queensryche is what they’ve been doing the past 10 years with Todd
Munchkin has the tattoo and been in the band 10 years but can’t write and Tate is the QR vocalist and visionary. It’s like Maiden without Bruce, no thanks.
Best band in history
Deep Purple had been my favorite band until a magical night at the Paradise in Boston in 1983.
This era they were unstoppable!!! Throughly enjoying this set!!!
I never saw the empire tour I saw mindcrime in 88 omg just mind blowing that show degarmo wilton duo guitars and tate just killing it on vocals. Jackson with that bass heavy sound what they are known for and Rockfield rollin the drums over everything. First time seeing them I was sold. Rycher fir life💖💖💖💖💖💗💗
12 people don´t anything about QR and music in general.
Saw them twice on this tour in Germany. Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Words can´t express what I´m feeling while watching this.
Thank you QR and William G!
This is one tour that I wished I had witnessed.. awesome post thank you sir
I saw this tour in Halifax ... incredible ... lifelong Queensryche fan.
This is simply INCREDIBLE !
I kick myself everyday cause I missed this particular show in Dallas. So, appreciate you putting this up for the world!!!!
I just saw Geoff Tate tonight and he sounds just as good as he did 31 years ago.
6 days ago for me....incredible show!
I was at HOB Dallas and he killed it. 62 and sang 2.5 hours
@@jmscoving He always kills it , I can not see how in Gods great name he really has any voice left. . . . . .think about screaming like that for your job !
I'd'a been out of work after 3 shows
It aint fuckin easy
it is even harder to maintain something like that.
I mean he aint singin Karen Carpenter tunes
💫💫💫
I saw this tour in Buffalo and Syracuse. What an awesome show and such a great time for music in general. Thanks for posting.
I was at Syracuse too, then Binghamton! Suicidal Tendencies opened, yeah?
@@turdferguson7112 they did in Buffalo. Can’t quite remember who opened later on that year for them.
@@drumhead75 OK, I was kinda questioning my memory...as things are a little foggy in those days. Hahaha. Thanks for getting back!
I was there!! Some friends of mine we went on a little road trip that was the 3rd time I went to Canada, what a beautiful country we also went to Niagra Falls and stayed there for 10 days we had a really really great time.
Queensryche rules I’ve been to 3 of there concerts.
Wow just stumbled across this. I saw this show in Atlanta, and I had front row seats. Quite possibly the best band I have ever seen live. Just incredible! I was right out of high school. Brings back such great memories. I really wish we could all go back.
I was there to great show!!!!
Very nice!
I've been to "Hotlanta" too,2012 to see Iron Maiden!! Nice Memories!
Cheers from Stuttgart, Germany!
Unfair... wish this band was around in my generation 😢😢😢
M.Wilton, C.Degarmo are an incredible pair of guitar players/composers. This live is amazing! Thank you so much for uploading this gem!
Saw them in Portland on this tour. They were criminally great!
I saw them in Boston, Worcester MA and Hartford CT. Nice having so many shows within a couple hours drive and conveniently located hotels 😁
Thank you for this. Silent Lucidity is one of the best songs ever, and Geoff Tate has such an incredible voice.
Saw this show in Buffalo. One of the best concerts I've ever been to.
I saw this in Syracuse. Operation Mindcrime all the way thru! Suicidal Tendencies was the opener, yeah?
me too
Saw this show in Minneapolis. One of my most favorite concerts...Mindcrime front to back was so awesome! Definitely miss this era of music and concerts. Would love to step back in time to experience this again!
Michael Wilton and Chris DeGarmo playing harmony leads on The Thin Line.
Truly awesome.
Queensryche was never the same after Chris left.
They became a different band without his great songwriting and harmony vocals.
Strange though.
As important as Chris was, I'm not sure why the camera focused on him while Michael Wilton was actually playing the guitar solo toward the end of "Another Rainy Night (Without You).
Odd.
Michael Wilton definitely shreds on lead guitar too.
Outstanding concert! Saw this tour in Madison Wisconsin ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Was there anybody in Madison, Wisconsin that believed in love??

Was at this show...just a 100 yards to your right! So cool you posted. Thanks for a great memory of a powerful show!
Awesomeness!! Thanks for posting this concert and sharing the amazing era of Queensryche. ✊🎤🎸🎶👍
excellent rare gem. road to madness was nicely shot on deGarmo. amazing live performance.
roads to madness is such a difficult song to sing for so many reasons . . . . Tate's got so many different layers
I saw this tour twice. They were at their peak here. Then it went down hill, then Degarmo left.
I did too in Upstate NY. Suicidal Tendencies was the opener, right?
@@turdferguson7112 Metallica (Justice) + Queensryche (Mindcrime) , following the release of Empire, Queensryche headlined and played the entire Mindcrime album after opening with cuts from Empire and earlier albums.. it was this tour that Suicidal was the opener. At the Knoxville show Mike Muir passed out drunk on stage in the middle of their set.
My first concert ever ❤️
Simply put...the BEST!!!
They were on fire 🔥. Wow.
Awesome. Great post. Queensryche in their prime, before the fall...Thanks!
I was at this show at Maple Leaf Gardens. One of the best concerts I've ever attended. Thanks for uploading!!
Classic lineup, in their prime……the best.
I saw them 5xs. Best concert I’ve ever been too. I had front row seats for this tour. Could’ve died when Geoff stationed his microphone right across from my while singing Silent Lucidity ❤️ the ONLY Queensryche for me 🔥❤️🔥
I saw them this tour too in Syracuse NY. Suicidal Tendencies opened, yeah?
@@turdferguson7112 yes! I saw them in Philly. I think it was their first headlining tour
@@eileenmyers3867 It was! They had just toured and opened for Metallica who was promoting the And Justice For All album.
Amazing show....at their peak!
I had floor seats 12 rows back that night, The show was brilliant!! Still listen to Empire and Mind Crime on the regular
Thank you so much for sharing this! It’s amazing how great the sound is! That performance of jet city woman was superb. Thanks for filming this, what a gem!
I've never seen this quartet cover anyone that is uniqueness very genuine
I saw them on this tour. To this day still one of best concerts I have ever seen! Great start to the show & then Mindcrime from start to finish! 👍👍
Yep!! Saw them too. Suicidal Tendencies opened, right?
Honestly don’t remember. Probably didn’t see the opening band back in those days. 😁
@@turdferguson7112 Saw them a few weeks after this show in Sacramento and the opening band was Warrior Soul.
@@turdferguson7112 Yep. Caught this tour in Orlando FL and Suicidal was the opener.
Such a great band, and great show! I was at this concert, at Maple Leaf Gardens (RIP). I was in the reds ;)
It's almost as if they're playing to their CD. Definitely one of the best live acts ever...
Simply amazing!!
Saw them with my friends on this Building Empires tour on 7/24/91 at the Brendan Byrne Arena in East Rutherford, NJ. Suicidal Tendencies opened the show. Since then, Geoff is no longer in the band, the arena is dormant and renamed, and my friends are gone. BUT, the music never dies and neither do my memories. Great times, great memories and great music!!! Thank you for uploading this video.
I was at that show as well. Also caught the tour a few months later in Tucson from the barricade. Killer show. I still have Michael Wilton’s pick to this day.
That would have been my dream show almost, ST was such an underrated band
He was so active on stage that I'm tired just watching, and he was still able to hold all the notes.
They were all 100% professional in what they did.
Milano 6 dicembre 1990 fantastici nel mio cuore tra i migliori di sempre
I FORGOT TO MENTION THEM DOING mindcrime in its entirety was a phenomenal feat at any time for any singer, saw METTALLICA S black album at the Gardens too, when they had that diamond stage ,thought that was i9n 1991 -92 as well pretty certain , also PANTERRA, sepultura and biohazard same venue what a great show, thanks for posting this, awesome work!
Thanks.
The Gardens was back then one of the best venues to see bands , saw sooooooooooo many wild wicked show ther inc this one, Ozzy's first solo tour was a blast
Finally found a video with the treadmill and him shooting hoop while singing... In Seattle at the Key Arena... He was making full stage hoops, nothing but net... and running all out on that treadmill while singing.. it was crazy..
Saw this same show a week after this one,in Bangor,Maine,Halloween night `91;Warrior Soul opened.....Awesome,awesome,Mindcrime show,with all Empire hits too......never forget....what a show....
Saw them on this tour in Mississippi. By far my favorite concert I ever went to
I say this tour in Chicago in May of 1991. It was the best concert I've ever seen!! The band sounded incredible & was at their peak!! It was so loud & high-pitched that my ears seriously rang for almost two months every night when I went to sleep!!
holy fuck they sound fantastic!!! Man I miss this band
Have to say, my jaw has dropped open watching this too.
I really hope that Chris is doing well after all these years. Scott was a beast. Thanks for the upload!
Band wasn't the same after he left. Then the blow up between the band n Geoff, Scott leaving too.
Chris is doing good. He left the band to focus on raising his daughter Riley. She is a musician also and Chris produces all of her music as well as plays acoustic/electric guitars for her. They formed a duo group called The Rue. Check them out here on YT. Keep in mind, it is very different than anything Chris has been involved with in his musical career but then again, it's his little girl so he fully supports her as a father should. You can still hear deep QR roots in his playing style.
Scott is a great drummer. One of my favorites. Precision and musicality to the way he plays. With a brutal attack too. Just awesome.
@@Biosynthnut Chris is well and a pilot, Scott on the other hand needs all of your prayers as he's battling a horrible drug problem.
Chris played in the last album of Alice in Chains . Acoustic guitar on ruclips.net/video/vpwIEGxgEQc/видео.html
Decent camera work dude, and great audio too! Glad you were able to capture this. It's been said a million times but bears repeating, this era was such an amazing time for live music, and specifically rock/metal acts. You could hear the imperfections (sometimes barely, sometimes glaringly obvious) in what was a completely live performance, and it made it better, to me anyway. Yes, there was some use of backing tracks here and there for every band then, a keyboard part or something small. But man, they didn't can half the instruments like now. And the audiences were committed, no gadgets to distract you from the spectacle of full scale arena rock;
Geoff is playing keyboards right & left flank of the drum riser
This is awesome! Thank you for posting. I saw this show in Albuquerque in 91 and I am stunned you managed to capture it like this. Cameras were huge in 91. Well done.
A little walk down nostalgia lane..Thanks William 🤙
Thank you so very much for sharing this one. I watched in its entirety. Great damn show.
I saw this tour in Seattle... Was pretty damn Epic...
This is so good I can just listen in the background
Sad to see bits and pieces of this band play now............it NOT the same.
I agree. That’s not Queensryche today. I hope one day they can work it out. For the fans.
Qué pedazo de concierto. ¡Gracias por subirlo!
This was when they were on top. Miss my youth
What a monster set.
Thanks for posting all your videos. Relived the shows I was at. But I saw this one in buffalo.
What a great band they were.
Wow! What a great video, especially the sound, considering the source material is nearly 30 years old! I saw these guys on this tour and it was (and still is) one of the best concerts I've ever seen. Thanks for all the hard work and upload! :-)
Best band ever
I've see them in Rock in Rio ll in this tour. Really unforgetable.
Невероятно, фантастически, божествено! Такого я за всю жизнь больше не видел. От Roads To Madness с этого концерта идут мурашки по коже и сердце прыгает!
I saw them in Charlotte NC, on the same tour. Suicidal Tendencies opened. Still one of the best live shows I'd ever seen. It's hard to believe that two years prior, I saw them in a crappy little club that barely held 200 people.
*Saw this tour in Norfolk, Va. After playing hits from the new and other albums, they then played Operation Mindcrime in it's entirety! Freakin' best show ever... Amazing!!!*
I wish I was there. Thank you for sharing
Second time watching this...very jealous of anyone who was there and really appreciate the recording!
The year Queensryche ruled the world. The last great and grand metal curtain call before the invasion of flannel shirt grunge rock
Amazing. I was at this show in Toronto. One of the best concerts I've ever seen
They were the best band on the planet at this time. Nobody could touch them imo. It all fell away just a few short years later. Sad really. Top of the game....and then several rungs down the ladder in a hurry.
At this time, Metallica ruled the universe. No comparison as to the popularity of Metallica. I love both bands but remember Queensyrche didn't headline for Hetfield and the boys.
This is also my opinion....
There will never be a band then the Original Queensryche.
Thanks for making video!
