    This is the best DIY tutorial I have seen to date, step by step process is easy to follow, and duplicate. Thank you.

    very well made video, i like that it had a good step by step tutorial while listing the computers parts identifier, i also liked that when reassembling you didn't just say something along the lines of " now do what you did to take it apart, but backwards" I briefly worked on iPhones replacing certain parts and would look for tutorials for tricky parts that needed heating or something and would hate when i was watching a tutorial and would not get some guidance back to were i started.

      Glad that you enjoyed the video. It was a very intentional design to have a follow-a-long reassembly, simply because the order of reassembly operations with Apple products are not always the same as assembly and the angles of reinstalling screws are not always the same as removing them.

    Followed exactly this and replaced my trackpad in like 15 minutes, no worries! Only hassle is the screwdriver or bit needed to remove the battery, it's a nr. 2 tri-wing bit

    I have a 2012 macbook pro and the trackpad cracked in half due to puffy battery. This will help me fix it, I just need a tri-wing screwdriver, replacement trackpad, battery and charger. I want to fix it because there are programs on it my 2021 macbook pro can't run and it has Windows 10 on it which my 2021 macbook can't run without emulators

    Mine is just hard to click down I have to press very hard and its annoying since I do a lot of work with click drag maneuvers. Is the solution just a whole replacement or is there a way to "clean under the pad itself? Thanks

    Hello, I have a MacBook Pro A1278 with two problems, the webcam does not work and the sound is heard very little, if I connect headphones it is practically not heard. Do you have any videos that help me?
    Thank you

      Use a bluetooth speaker or replace logic board.

    • @lightwarriors7778
      @lightwarriors7778 5 лет назад

      For the webcam issue you can fix that by opening terminal and typing these commands in: sudo kill all VDCAssistant
      And you may have a pin that is halfway depressed. Try looking inside and pushing something like a wooden tooth pick or something that's not metallic inside to push the pins out.
      If that doesn't work you'll probably need to get a new logic board or someone that really knows what they're doing.
      Thanks

    Just did this but now the mechanical click won't register. Any ways to fix this?

    • @Tsunande4
      @Tsunande4 3 года назад +1

      There's a torx screw on the bottom of the trackpad you can use to adjust the spacing for the click. Too tight and it wont click, too loose and it'll click kinda of wobbly
