@@moores4415 Something interesting for trivia is that Studio Nexus helped out a LOT with the production of Rezero Season 1. They’re finally getting their moment in the spotlight.
This is the first sucesfull project that Nexsus has done so it is a small anime company and it did have a low budget but had big passion in creating this show by the sucess they had with this show i will not be surprised if they make season 2 witch is 99.99 posibility they will ,they will have a bigger budget and will make it really good if it has 20 episoodes it might cover VOL 4 witch is the best volume and the most hype :)!!!
This man Cid is way too entertaining,his cringiness/edginess goes so hard that the clock meter does a full spin and he becomes one of the coolest MC I’ve ever seen. Like you said,I hope they use this opportunity with Rose to explore more Shadow Garden,because if there is one thing that I wish we saw more was it and especially develop and explore more the main SG girls

You haven't seen Shadow vs any of his members yet. So you can't really guage strength off fights against shadow.
The only metric in power scaling we for have Garden Members are Alpha to Iris & 11th Seat.

Delta to 11th seat.
Mind you Alpha and Delta are the top 2 strongest members of Shadow Garden.
This anime really became one of the best isekais for me i never expected it tbh i though it was just some op character like cliche but gotta give it to cid and shadow garden for proving me wrong the overall tone of story is dark but cid neutralizes it and damn he is one hell of a mc and one of the most enjoyable ones i read the manga further and i hope we get s2 to see john smith it's going to be epic

This show has a lot to offer and doesn't get stale. Its very aware of the cliches it parodies but its not just comedy its also cool sometimes and can invert expectations and play with your perception. Pretty great show overall.
Eminence in shadow is such an interesting series. I’ve consumed everything it’s had to offer so far (manga, anime, LN and WN) and all four feel similar, but very different at the same time (except the beginning of LN and WN). The anime is much more serious and dark than the manga, which is absolutely hilarious at times. The anime takes completely different turns from the manga and even LN/WN quite a few times, and even the world-building is pretty dang different in all of them (ex: in manga it’s much more medieval compared to the modern world the anime depicts,…). Also, if you do get in the LN/WN, the begining is the same but at one point both of them become just completely different stories that are both just golden. so intresting that the same series can give 4 completely different masterpieces

I really agree with your opinion on the sound design in the series. I think it’s super innovative, rarely seen even in movies. I don’t think I’ve ever seen an anime with such great sound design period.
The last sequence was pure disrespect. A knee to the redhead's chin, then a matrix style evasion then a seoi nage, stackin em bodies and stomping, WHILE catching his "disarmed" sword.

Seichiro has done such a great fuckin job voice acting shadow like it's perfect down to the last minute detail
Something interesting to know is that the animation studio for this, Nexus, helped out a LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! with the production of Rezero Season 1. They finally got their moment in the spotlight!

The atomic city sphere is the reason I call CID the last student of Madara Uchiha. That move is equivalent to Madara’s perfect Susanoo. After being jumped by bums who thought they were the hot stuff and after having their power questioned, both master and apprentice pull out the 100% move, not to beat but to shower the true difference in their levels.
CID could have easily killed everyone but decided it wouldn’t be his style. That’s it. His ego prevented him from nuking the place.
yeah his ego was apart of it but he never had any intention of using atomic on the whole of midgard,he just did it after he was pissed at iris telling him if he was going to run and also to show off how vastly superior he is to all of them.Him nuking the place would have killed everyone.He is a mentally deranged pyscopath but he wouldnt just commit genocide especially since his sister and alexia lives there he does care about them even if he doesnt show it.

His entire game is to be the Eminence in Shadow, but here he behaved like the Last Boss. Cid realized that himself and started to regret it a bit, which can be seen in the flashback to his previous life's childhood. He looked at his roots again, calmed himself and performed SIKE for the lols.

Best sound design....I would fight for The Eminence in Shadow and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime. Tensura season 2 NAILED the power, the delicateness, and the hype of what we needed to hear during so many scenes. I still get chills from so many of the *bonks*, *boops*, and *kabooms* in Slime Isekai.
Eminence....just a different kind of monster, when you count all of the "Special" effects from the noise department they used.
I feel blessed as fuck, to be here, now, to witness what has been "anime," and what "anime" is becoming, as we speak.
May we all live happily to see the end of all of our favorite shows.

This really was the greatest pleasant surprise of the season, and of the year so far. I always go in with low expectations for Isekais, but this was a genuine masterpiece. It doesn’t try to forcefully push anything or be serious, it knows exactly what show it is, how and when to deliver its jokes, and the writing is genuinely good. Especially Rose’s story and she broke down in the end. She had just made an enemy of her own country and killed her own father, the only thing keeping her sane was her memories with Cid, and even that was stripped from her. I’m more interested in seeing where her story goes than anything else. I’m also curious if or when she’ll find out Shadows identity
Welcome to season 2, She has the key to make Cid go to Japan through the black rose. Japan and whole world is Apocalypse because a monster and yeah we will meet Akane Nishino again, highschool girl from episode 1, she is the most powerfull person on earth and of course another I Am Atomic but now on Earth
