I want to buy a console to play Football Manager. That's all ill use it for, what should I search for when looking to buy one? I saw there are several different issues of xbox for example. I'm just looking for the cheapest console so I can play it on my TV.
Xbox Series S is probably the cheapest. If you have a recent samsung TV (I think 2020 or newer) or a recent firestick, and decent internet, you could just get a controller and an xbox gamepass subscription (though bear in mind its a subscription) - you can stream the games to your tv then using the xbox gamepass app.
Can someone help... iv never played a FM game before I still play LMA07... but I wanna change now. Simply put is there a local 2 player game mode to play with my brother on FM24 to sit next to each other and play? So we can both choose a team and a league and manage them. On ps5 btw.

Would you be able to look at players history like what clubs they played for and their stats every year, and are their ballon d ors and like other awards that players can win? So much player history stats in console version and manager stats what's great it has historic stats so can go back through the seasons to look at player history , manager and club etc ,no historic player stats in fifa I got sick of fifa too last 5 years, FM games so much more immersive career mode then fifa yep there's player awards . And end season review that's great
What’s your personal opinion on how to handle training? I’ve been leaving it to my back room staff mostly but should I be training players for the roles they’ll be playing on match day? Great video overall.
Need help on the squad page so on your squad page the position column has the two triangles next to it. Which means unselected players stay in order of position which I prefer I accidentally clicked on the position text and got rid of the two triangles and my unselected players are all over the place. Any fix to this. I am on the ps5.

And when i buy a player with 4 stars sometimes they are getting worse but others not getting better. Dort know what to do. Greetings from gernany
What does tha active countries section at the start mean. Why is it chapped at ten and do any countries I don’t pick mean that they won’t exist in my save?
The countries exist but it won’t simulate their matches. You don’t want lots selected. The more you have the slower everything gets. It’s unnecessary. Console limits it to ten which is fine

I’m considering playing the console version on PC, as I miss the Touch version, which is a light version without press conferences etc. Is it possible to mask the players’ abilities, which makes it more realistic? And what about Germany. Can the same fix files be used as for the Steam version? Thanks for the help.

You should be able to add a second manager from the menu. Pretty sure it’s also on ps5

Yes that’s all there. You can look up loads of past data and info.

On console? Normally I leave it to the staff. They’ll be training their roles anyway through tactical training

Yes. There’s a reason I’ve not done a new one, the only bit it’s really missing is the club philosophy stuff- that’s new.

That sounds like a bug. Can’t really help you there I’m afraid. Report it on their website
Any in game editor, mod capability on console? Watch plenty of lower league fm content on yt.
There is not. There are in game 'cheats' that you can unlock/purchases that do some of the in game editor stuff

Yeah you can mark attributes. But no you can’t ‘patch’ the console version even on PC (there’s no option to load data files)

It’s all console mode footage but it’s fm23. They changed it on both for fm24
