- Tony with Newt and Crystal review Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead. In this Podcast / Movie Review of this new zombie flick we talk about all the stuff that makes it dumb. Like the drawn out melodrama, characters that are infuriating, and robot zombies. You read that last part right.
With the abandoned, walled city of Las Vegas overrun with zombies, after a disastrous government fault, the billionaire casino magnate, Bly Tanaka, realises that he has left something in Sin City: $200 million to be more precise. For the time being, his mountains of cash are safe behind his impenetrable casino vault; however, the US President plans to nuke the entire city in less than 96 hours. Now, Tanaka is willing to pay $50 million to the decorated former mercenary, Scott Ward, and his hand-picked team to retrieve the money before the bomb obliterates the city. Indeed, this is a life-changing offer Scott cannot refuse; nevertheless, the rules have changed, and the horde of the walking undead seems to be more organised than they might have expected. But, time is running out. Can they return from Vegas in one piece and rich?

If the nuclear bomb was one of thoses Hydrogen Bomb with a lead tamper instead of a uranium one, most of the fissile material undergoes fusion, and the fallout is pretty clean. He then may have survived walking out of there (but probably not the blast...).
Tony newt Johanna crystal. This show kicks ass man so nice to be able to laugh after a day of bs dude. God willing you guys will do Dragon Ball evolution. The horrible live action Dragon Ball movie. Idk if any of you were dbz fans but it would be a great pick for the show.

Great episode. Army of the Dead is a movie technically ... in the same way a tomato is a fruit ... technically.
Dawn of the Dead was definitely his better zombie movie. I personally think the 2004 remake is better than the original but that’s just me.
That’s fair i think. The original Dawn was decent but it was kind of silly and hokey looking even for a 70’s zombie film. The remake is a lot more fast paced and has better characters.

They severed the Queen Zombie at the neck. EVERY Zombie Movie shows severed Heads that are still alive. Shooting the brain kills it. not severing at the neck.

I wish the rest of the movie was as good as the opening credits.
- I was expecting a lot of zombie fighting action and only got a few scenes of combat. 🙁
- No zombie kills with the concrete saw!!! I was expecting a scene like the lawnmower scene from Dead Alive and they didn't use the saw as a weapon! 🙁
- 50 minutes of backstory and set-up before they even enter Las Vegas was way too much. 🙁
The first 10 minutes was amazing and then it got to the point where i and two other friends fell asleep watching this near the end during that needless 20 minute lull in the action.
Crystal and Newt belong together. Just deal with it Everyone...even you Crystal.

I actually really enjoyed this movie. It definitely had its stupid moments but I thought these zombies were pretty unique and terrifying with how they communicated with one another. And Crystal is awesome...that's all 😁😂

So I do understand your points on this movie and how it is. However I disagree with one point you made about Zeus and how he was able to get on his horse and beat them to Olympus. The Helicopter was heading the wrong way cause the pilot was leaving the city, till Batistas character said he had to get his daughter then they had to change direction and go toward Olympus. In that time he could have ran down and gotten on the horse since it established they are faster. Just thought that may explain that part of that movie and why it seems like he is that fast and beating them to the hotel.

Tony we are watching these episodes because we like them. We watch them because we want to not because they are a chore or we have to. You don't need to rush through an episode. For what? Us? You? Don't feel like you need to rush or skip through stuff to make things shorter. I binge watch your channel for hours sometimes. Go ahead and film an episode that long. I would watch the whole thing. In fact I'm re watching this episode. I was already here when it first dropped.

This movie at its best is a series of let downs. I struggled to find even one good scene or one redeeming quality. I finished the movie wondering how are bad movies still being made. Chris D'Elia mistakenly did himself a favor by being canceled from this movie. This hack the movies episode is better than this movie and it hasn't even been posted yet. This comment that I'm writing is better than this movie.
